Izzy The Valor of Wrestling

[ Entrance Song]

The Titantron changing into her “Falling Down” entrance theme hitting the PA as the lights in the arena flashed a variety of colors over the crowd and the ring. At the same time, the stage pyro exploded adding more excitement for the starting theme. The double Spark of fireworks covered the entire stage where the WWFG:R logo positioned in place behind them. The beautiful white and yellow merge startling movement shots high following a mid cloud of smoke. Izabella made her way onto stage walking confidently as the announcer hands her the mike once he finishes holding the ropes for her to enter the ring. Cheers growing as the music lower its volume.

“Ladies and Gentlemen I have chosen two very talented individuals to compete as a Team in the steel structure career shorting match at Survivor Of Cage. These two will compete in my corner and will win giving me the opportunity to grant any decision I see fitting. Now, Jed and Jay seem confident in who ever they have chosen so I’m guessing there big names.”

The crowd cheering to that idea…

“But I too have a veteran …and also the Human Elevator running rapid…”

The commentary and the crowd was a bit confused by what she meant but couldn’t wait to see the team brought together.

Izzy faced the entrance waiting for the two she has chosen off camera to come out....

The lights completely went out and the crowd hushed. Well, except for the one person that always has to shout "WOOOO!" at every event. A hissing sound could be heard as the following words seemed to burn into the screen of the titantron!

it all ends now
scream your heart out
this is where you find your ending
welcome to a death surrending

The words glowed upon the screen for several moments before simply fading back to black. Thus once again enveloping the arena in silence and darkness. The crowd started to become anxious, clearly some were still afraid of the dark! This continued on for several moments before the sound of an owl could be heard, followed by the sounds of a hammer hitting something metallic.

Mitternacht!

A dark blue flame suddenly ignited in the center of the stage! The flame died down, only to be followed up by small blue fires igniting along the edges of the stage and down the edges of the ramp. After several moments, another large blue flame jet up forth from the center of the stage! Only this time, someone stepped out from within it!

With the flame still going strong, the person stood at the top of the ramp. Slowly the person began to walk down the center of the ramp, the light of the small blue flames just barely illuminating the person's outline. Said person walked up the steel stairs and along the apron, stopping mid way. Exactly in front of the blue flame that was still going back center stage.

The little blue flames along the edges of the stage and ramp had also died down. It couldn't really be seen, but the person thrust their left arm into the air and bright, blue flames erupted from the corners! Thus revealing Claire Hawkins! The lights had returned to normal, and Claire stepped down from the corner, where she then turned about and removed her tattered cloak from her person, and then gave it to the referee.

Salem Croft

PostPosted: Tue Oct 09, 2012 7:10 pm

As the last whisps of light faded from Claire's flames, the audience would be hushed in wonder...quieted by the sudden dampening of the arena's lights. For but a moment, the arena seemed more alive than it had all night - murmurs from the stands were accompanied by the flickering of camera flashes, wielded by those desperate to catch a glimpse of what may be happening in the dark. But after only a couple of seconds, a voice came over the speakers - a familiar, masculine voice that sounded quietly euphoric.

"Ladies...and gentlemen..." he was heard saying, addressing those in the crowd. "We...ARE...LIVE! In the proud city of Salem, Ohio! In the majestic Quicken Loans Arena! So please...let me hear it for your favorite son!"

Just as the voice was finished speaking, the shrill downslide of a heavy-metal guitar would tear through the silence and ignite the stadium with riotous cheers as "Salem Croft" appeared on the Titantron. An upbeat rhythm guitar would shred with the impulse of machine-gun fire. The stage would come to life in flames as the lead singer forced out a guttoral scream.

"YEAH!!!"

Like a wolf called by the howl, Salem Croft dashed out onto the burning platform, unafraid of the glowing shadows that danced about the stage. Rather, Salem started dancing wildly as the lead singer began his manic chant, intensely slamming his feet into the stage and spinning in a variety of kicks and elbows while performing a variation of the Melbourne Shuffle.

"All I ever wanted was destiny to be fulfilled!
It is in my hands - I must not fail, I must not fail!"

As the melody took a brief interlude, Salem turned towards the ring, legs spread wide and his eyes to the ground. Raising his hands, the guitars started coming to life again - a chaotic upheaval that foretold a heavier-hitting riff fast approaching. Throwing his arms down, antagonizing a thunderous explosion from the stage, Salem rushed towards the ring, sliding deftly under the bottom rope as the jam-packed arena erupted into cheers. Standing in center ring, Salem threw his hands up into the air, brandishing a microphone he'd carried down the ramp with him and drawing it right to his face, which had twisted into a look of such ferocity and confidence that it gave goosebumps to those that saw him.

"People of Salem, how are you tonight?!" he shouted, his brown eyes squinting as he leaned back and shouted his query to the masses. Their energetic response brought a smirk to Salem's lips, who brought the mic up to his arched chin rather than straight back up and talk normally.

"You see...my name is Salem Croft, and my home is any place there's four corners, three ropes, two outcomes, and one victor, and tonight we are in my hometown of Salem, Ohio!"

The audience popped once again for the ever-enthusiastic speaker, who postured himself and addressed the audience more properly.

"And...I am your favorite son, because I am here to bring back legitimacy to this industry - I am here to push the boundaries of what you can stand to see, what wrestlers can stand to feel, and establish myself as the baddest son-of-a-b***h to lace up his boots and walk down that -" he said, thrusting a finger towards the stage. "...Or any other ramp!"

Pausing for a moment, Salem seemed to be gathering his thoughts as he eagerly paced a lap around the ring, circling Claire and Izzy.

"And this may not be the time or place, but I have something to say to someone and I'm sure he's watching now..."

Stopping in the center of the ring, Salem slowly looked up into the camera, his eyes cold and merciless, but his lips stretched into a wicked smile.

"Justin Spectacular." Salem said flatly, causing the crowd to erupt in a mixture of cheers and boos - both supporting Salem - against the villainous heel.

"...last episode of Rebirth, you took my contract with "The Dream" from me...not only that, but you took my opportunity to honor my uncle, who I'd put in the ground that very day, by spitting in my face, pulling down a rope, and climbing up a ladder. Well...you did me a favor, in a way. You see...Cyrus wasn't much of a manager, anyway. He was too busy clinging to his former glory to ever help me realize my present potential, sadly his is a dream he'll never wake up from - the dream of former ambition. But his teeth have gotten too dull to chew through the necks of younger, rougher, tougher talent, which is why you were able to beat him. But...you weren't able to beat me, Justin." Salem said, waggling a finger with a slight, menacing chuckle. His eyes never wavered from the camera as he spoke, as though he were addressing his foe face-to-face.

"You see...at every encounter, Justin...I beat you. Outside the ring, inside the ring, I put you through tables and chairs...I beat the bloody hell out of you. You tried to stop me, but I was always two moves ahead...until I tripped over my own feet, and went over that rope you conveniently pulled down. But, Justin...what bothers me most is that you're the top-ranked wrestler on the newest edition of the Power Ten, a list that should always be headlined by one name, and that name is Salem Croft."

Turning his head to Izzy and Claire, he smiled a bit at the pair before glancing back at the camera.

"...The people inside this ring agree with me, and it's that reason alone that has me here right now, and not beating the dog-s**t out of you, Justin. Because after I win this match for GM Izzy, I'm coming for you...and you can climb as high of a ladder as you want, you can pull down as many ropes, pull as many strings as you have to, you can ask for help from the GMs, from the locker room, from the Lord Almighty himself! But I'm not going to stop until you and the entire Spectacular clan are nothing but crud on the bottom of my very expensive footwear..."

Walking up to the cameraman, Salem leaned in closer to the lens and smiled, still maintaining his chilling stare.

"...Because you're going to be someone they'll never remember. But I...I'm going to be someone they'll never forget."

Turning back around, Salem threw his microphone onto the ground, the device exploding into dust like a high-powered firecracker, similar to the explosion previously seen on stage as Salem - clearly amped up from his extensive introduction, backed to his associates' side of the ring.

The crowd was in upheaval as Salem made his threat to the rookie Justin, his words a declaration of war against his new rival. Turning to Claire and Izzy, the black-haired rebel waited for a few moments to allow one of his associates to speak, but after a minute Salem brought his microphone hand back to his lips, absent a microphone.

"Speaking o-" Salem started before abruptly stopping as he realized his hand was empty. Looking curiously at his upheld hand, it appeared he was uncertain what had happened to his mic...until his eyes glanced down at the smoking scorch mark that had stained the ring's canvas. Letting out a slack-shouldered sigh, Salem leaned over into Claire's microphone and spoke.

"Uhm...I accidentally caused my microphone to blow up. Can I please have another?" he said, drawing scattered laughs from the crowd. The timekeeper had already been on his way to the ring, and Salem met him at the steps and took the spare microphone, smiling and chuckling as he went back out to the center ring.

"Talk about a pipe-bomb." he quipped, glancing up towards the ramp as the audience held on to his every action inside the ring.

"But speaking of pipe-bombs...Justin isn't the only person in this arena tonight that I have a problem with. But I don't want to talk with this person through a camera...I want him to come down that ramp and face me man-to-man, because he and I have some serious matters to discuss."

Turning towards the entrance ramp, Salem lowered his eyes, staring fearlessly towards the entrance. For a moment, he simply looked...but it felt as though he were doing more than simply gazing at the stage. Rather, it appeared that Salem was holding his next few words in for a purpose - whether to build suspense or size his target up, it wasn't known. But the entire stadium grew hushed as Salem slowly brought the microphone up to his lips once again.

"So, get your a** down here right now, Jed." Salem said, causing the fans in attendance to go wild in both shock and excitement as they waited to see if the owner of WWFG would respond.

Jed was seating in gorilla position with a head set on as he heard Salem say this. Jed was a general manager like Jay and Izzy, but Jed always liked to watch matches to see who should be the next guy. That person that will steal the show. Jed hadn't plan to go to the ring tonight, but what the heck. Jed stood up from his chair as he took a step towards the curtian. Jed motioned to the sound guy not to play his music.

Jed walked through the curtain onto the top of the ramp. The crowd gave a mixed reaction to Jed's face as he had picked two heels for his team in the tri gm battle at the next pay per view. Jed put his hands up as he walked down the ramp a little confused that Salem had a problem with him. Jed has been know to always try to help the new generation of wrestling. Even help them to much at times, but hey it's heart baby.

Jed got to the bottom of the ramp towards the ring. Jed turned to walk to the stairs and grabbed a microphone. Jed stopped while on the stairs as he looked around at the crowd wondering what they were thinking. Jed got onto the apron and got into the ring. Jed wasn't going to back down from a challenge even if he was out number three to one. "How's life treating you Salem, Claire, and Izzy?" Jed said this not really caring, but being polite.
PostPosted: Tue Oct 16, 2012 8:45 pm

Salem nodded briefly out of respect for Jed as he made his way down the ramp - no music, no security. It was the mark of someone either brave or stupid, but the gesture was still met with a small measure of admiration from the disgruntled Salem Croft. However, Salem couldn't help but chuckle and shake his head as he heard Jed's question, spoken with as much enthusiasm as a grocery list. The so-called sentiment left a bitter taste of insult in Salem's mouth, his expression souring.

"You're kidding me, right?" Salem said, stepping closer to Jed without making his demeanor any more threatening than it was before. Rather, it seemed Salem simply wanted to draw the conversation in close, as though to make it more personal - he didn't need Izzy or Claire to speak for him, and didn't intend to give them the opportunity.

"You see, Jed...I'm a bit confused. I'm currently listed as one of the top ten athletes in this company, and yet you've left me without a match." Salem said, the crowd voicing their disapproval in the form of scattered jeers. "These people come out here to see the best wrestlers in the world perform, just like I come out here to prove that I'm the best wrestler in this industry, but I can't seem to get over no matter what I do. I take every opportunity I can to showcase my talent, to show that I'm not just another face in the crowd, but people like you are holding me back, Jed. I don't appreciate that."

Turning towards the ropes nearest the announce table, Salem exited the ring under the top rope and shuffled about the table's contents, scattering papers and utensils much to the ire of the announcers.

”Here, Jed...I have something for you." he said, too occupied in his search for something to speak to the owner directly. Finally producing a glass jar from one of the table’s drawers, Salem returned to the ring and tucked the container under his microphone arm, fishing a pair of pennies out from his pocket using his spare hand. After dropping them inside to the tune of a ‘clink’, he stepped closer to Jed – this time, nearly chest to chest.

”This, it’s a change jar…and in it, I’ve put my two cents. So, here – I’m going to let you have my two cents, Jed.” Salem said, starting to pace around the man in a slow, menacing fashion.

”I think you’re afraid of me.” Salem declared, the crowd stirring at the bold statement, hushing as Salem started to continue after a brief pause.

”I think…no, I know…that you’re an intelligent man, Jed. You’ve built this company into something great, and you can see talent. But we both know that I’m not your everyday athlete, Jed. I think you know that if you give me an inch, I can make it last for a mile. I think you hear it in my voice, I think you see it in my face, I think you can feel it in these fans when I come out and outperform everyone else on this roster, whether on the mic or in the ring, that I’m going to change the face of this industry forever. I’m going to be the next face of this company, and you can’t stand that because I’m something you can’t quantify – I’m the ‘x factor’, Jed. I’m the Charismatic Anomaly. I’ve got the raw passion, the sharpened skill, and the mental fortitude to reshape the landscape of this business forever!”

By now, Salem had made a couple rotations around Jed, and was currently poised in front of the man once again. Leaning in, Salem’s eyes widened as he looked at Jed, scrutinizing his every move with an unwavering stare.

”You claim that this is a rebirth. You say that this is a fresh start. But you still cling to the belief that dues are the price of glory, and hold back someone like me, someone that you can’t control. Guys like me don’t make friends very easily, because we speak our minds – we don’t hold back. That’s especially true of me, Jed…I don’t hold back. Not in the ring, not on the mic, and certainly not to you.”

Raising a finger to Jed, Salem’s face became more stern and cold, his liveliness giving way to a steely expression of firm resolve.

”Now, I want to take this company to another level. I want to bring back legitimacy to this business, and there’s nothing that you or anyone else can do to stop me. I am going to come out here and speak my mind, because I know there are others backstage who feel the same. I know there are people who have been waiting too long for some real change to come to this company, and I plan to be the agent, the facilitator of that change. But, my two cents alone isn’t enough to do much. So, I’m going to be putting this jar backstage, where everyone can pitch in their two cents, as well. That way, you can see just how many people put faith into the words that I have to say, Jed. Then, you’ll understand just how significant, just how imminent, just how unavoidable my ascension is going to be. Because when everyone puts their two cents with mine, that change really starts to make a difference.”

Stepping up closer to Jed, Salem stared the man down, cocking the microphone to the side of his face as he met Jed’s eyes without fear.

”So, next Reboot…I’m going to come back out here, with this jar. And when I do, things are going to change. This company…this industry…everything. I guarantee it.”

Walking past Jed, Salem nonchalantly walked up towards the ramp, pausing half-way to turn back towards Jed, brandishing the jar as though it were a beloved trophy.

”And Jed…that’s some money you can really take to the bank.

Dropping the microphone with a thud, Salem turned his back to Jed and his colleagues, making his way backstage.

Jed looked at Salem, Claire and Izzy the whole time. Usually Jed would turn left or right to face the crowd, or even the hard camera. Jed was listening to what Salem was saying and he was a little confused by his words. Mostly the holding people back. Jed didn't interrupt Salem while he was talking because he cared about what Salem was saying. Jed listens to the newer generation even more than his friends. Sometime he would listen to much. Sometime that bites him in the rear end, for example a wrestler named Andrew.

Jed raised the microphone up to his mouth as Salem said he though Jed was scared of him, but Jed lowered because he had a feeling Salem was going to keep talking. Jed stood in the ring looking just at Salem, straight in his eyes. Jed was getting angry as he stood in the ring across from Salem. If this was If this was three years ago, Jed would've of dropped his microphone and cold cocked the new guy. However this was Reboot, and Jed is a general manager, so he has to act a certain way.

As Salem said Guarantee, Jed raised the microphone up to his lips about to speak, but he stopped as Salem walked past him. Jed was now furious as Salem was acting so cocky in front of him. To even go as fr as to disrespect him by turning his back to the man he called out. Right then and there the only reason he had punched this kid was because Izzy was near by. All she would need to do to get him fired would complain probably about her safety and an "angry" man should not lead a company. Jed dropped the microphone as he turned to watch Salem, Izzy, and Claire leave to the backstage area. Jed thought at least Jay doesn't do this.
