PRP between -[The Spoof]-'s Aryon and Alanna, and Elf Princess Flannery's Baba Yaga. Location: Forest/Mountains; North and East of Western Swamp Teepees: Spoof's, Flan'sAlanna led the way through a forest that was getting thinner and thinner. The trees were getting fewer, and the ground was getting rocky. She knew they were approaching the last place she had seen the hag, but it was entirely possible that she had moved since the last time as well. Hopefully, for Aryon's sake, that wouldn't be the case.
The sun was getting lower in the sky and if they didn't find Baba soon she was going to call it a night. Aryon would do that thing where the scowl on his face got deeper, but he wouldn't argue with her because there were dangers in the woods at night. It had taken her a while to get used to that, but after the first few weeks in these new lands she had realized it was easier to find an out of the way cave or thicket to hide in for the night than keep traveling. Aryon must have subconsciously known that as well because he would look even less happy than he already did, but he never protested. Aryon was scowling, and his face kind of hurt from doing it for the last three days straight. Despite that, he couldn't help it. Every once and a while, a fragment of memory would flit through his mind and he would grasp at it as hard as he could, but no matter what he did all he got was snippets of laughter and brown eyes. A flip of curly hair, and then occasionally the howl of wolves. It was setting his teeth on edge, waiting for the next time one would hit him.
"Are we almost there? It's been three days." he frowned. He knew he was being rude to someone who was helping him purely out of the goodness of her heart, but three days of wisps of memory dancing through his head and a headache that never seemed to leave him was making him impatient. "Yes, I think so actually. Unlike the four other times you've asked me today..." she couldn't help but snarking at him.
She thought she might know what he was feeling, helplessness with a healthy dash of fear, but that didn't mean he had to be so gloomy. If the metaphorical cloud over his head got any heavier it was going to actually start raining on them.

The Hag had been waiting for days, Alanna was taking longer to find "prince" hair than expected. She had the feeling the girl had come across something un-expected and would arrive today.
Baba pressed a line of sage incense into earth in front of her shabby home, her red bird immediately lit them for her. The fragrance quickly filled the air and the smoke trailed into the sky. She realized that her fragrances would often draw visitors to her, so she could summon other Soq without much effort.
The birds had limited effectiveness when it came to tasks and finding things, thats why it was so vital that Baba branch out and trade her services for more rare and exotic items.
