((I am pretending that they have met before since I imagine Lizi knows many SoA. lol.))

The rogue lands were interesting, but they were slightly more interesting when gods were about (well, at least when the gods weren't boring). Speaking of gods, Simulizi had a juicy bit of news about two gods she had heard about recently that she was just itching to share with someone. But with whom? Her sister was far away. Mortals? No, they wouldn't appreciate it as much as another god would...

Lizi knew of a few gods who preferred living amongst the mortals during most of their spare time (but really, was there ever a time in a god's live that wasn't considered "spare" time?), but their hang-out spots changed frequently. Luckily for Lizi, some didn't. At least, not today.

The goddess of blood magic was in plain sight--doing what, Lizi didn't know--and so she teleported in front of the other female since she couldn't be bothered with flying. It would've taken too long and she just had to share this gossip now.

"Hello, Uuni~" she greeted casually. "You're looking-..." she paused, noting her acquaintance's sour expression. "...well," she finished.

(( I appreciate this. I much prefer RPs where they already know one another. ))

The goddess was distracted with the small ache that was grinding the inner walls of her heart.

The last two cubs had made it safely to a land of disease and pestilence, where they would likely stay to their deaths. But, in many ways, they had never been her children. They were a product of power, greed, and hopeless wishes and they did not need to grow up in a world filled with only weakness and desperation.

She had shaken off her mortal skin in a hurry, traipsing across the rogue lands with a fervor in her step.

Well, had been.

s**t.

"Simulizi." It had been mortal years since she'd seen a god other than her sister. She was already sick of them.

It was probably why her mouth was thinned into a firm line and her ears had flicked back to her skull. While she enjoyed teleporting in to shock and awe young mortals it was entirely annoying when someone else did it to her.

"Ladykiller, as always." Or, not. Don't say anything you don't want scattered across the rogue lands, Uuni. She will bait you. "Is today harass the goddess of Blood Magic day?" She was sure they'd made one. They probably had bloody meetings about how to torture one another.

"I'm on permanent vacation, you know." Not that Simulizi cared. Uuni let out a long sigh.

Lizi laughed out loud--genuinely, but not unbridled. "Oh, Uuni, sometimes you're funny," she said, folding her wings into a more comfortable position. There was no reason for her to want to harass the other goddess, but there was always a reason to hound down anyone if it meant sharing the latest gossip. This was just one of those instances.

The "ladykiller" comment did ring in Lizi's ears for a moment, causing her to think of all the delightful scandal surrounding Uuni's relationships with a number of individuals. She couldn't particularly remember just how many there had been...maybe it was something like five--wait, she was sure she'd heard that it was much more...double that, perhaps...? Oh, rats, but it was also something to talk about another day. She had something juicy and new to discuss this time...

"I'm sorry for interrupting your vacation," she drawled, "but I was just dying to talk to someone about what I've just discovered--ohhh, but I hate when I blurt things out all at once," she interrupted herself suddenly, tossing her hair. Some things were more fun when they were drawn out.

"Well, it involves...two gods," she said, eyes dancing with excitement, "a rather large age gap, and it all ends with a broken heart. Can you guess?!" Of course, no one would be able to guess anything with such a small amount of information, but that never occurred to Simulizi.

"Sometimes I'm witty, too."

There was a small, displeased smile creeping across her features. This was going to be a long bit of gossip, wasn't it?

Sorry her a**. Lizi was about as sorry as a cub who had just stolen a delightful treat and was busy hurriedly shoving it down its gullet. Lizi seemed to injest gossip in this manner, tearing off bits from everyone, and scattering the remains here and there.

"Two, really?" Uuni pretended fascination. She rolled out her shoulders and they cracked and popped and otherwise voiced complaint.

"I don't know." Inside her mouth, her tongue found the sharp point of her canine. "Did you fall in love with one of your late cousins?" Now that would be a spit of gossip.

"If it's not that, I'm stumped."

Uuni's answer surprised Simulizi at first, but she found it hilarious.

"Uuuuniiiii~," Lizi laughed, waving a lazy paw. "Really, you're just too much sometimes!" So what if Blood Magic seemed a little stiff most days? She wasn't boring, at least. "That was really the most terrible guess I've ever heard!" she remarked, still laughing. But she recovered quickly. She didn't want to delay the gossip for too long.

"No, it has nothing to do with me. Although, I am the one who just so happened to hear about this little...tale," she said. Now how to begin explaining it...

"Well," she started, "it all started not even a day ago while it was raining. I found a cave to hide in, and what do you think? It was already occupied by someone. And not just someone--a god. Since you have trouble with guesses, I'll just come out and tell you who it was. It was Khuluma, the god of Rhetoric. He was a sad, small thing, but his hair was lovely. Now, maybe you're wondering why Rhetoric was hiding away from any potential conversation partners. But I'll tell you why..."

Lizi glanced to her sides for a moment before leaning in closer to the other goddess and saying, "he had his heart broken by an older god," she leaned back to her original place, big secret having been told. "Now, who do you think Rhetoric would fall in love with?! Other than himself, of course..."

Uuni was too busy wondering why Lizi was looking around to catch half of what was said. Honestly, she didn't have to put up a show. Uuni knew this sweet gossip would be halfway around the universe as quickly as Lizi could teleport.

"Older?" My goodness, there were a lot of those. In fact, that was practically the entire list of them. Then again, they were always dying in stupid ways or giving up their domains to others. Who knew, anymore. Well, perhaps Lizi.

"You know, that's a really good question. I can't think of any gods worth falling in love with." Uuni's hard stare was focused on Lizi.

"Perhaps trickery flipped his tongue upside down." That, though, was obviously not the answer. Still, more interesting than the real answer, she was sure. "That doesn't satisfy you, does it?" Uuni paused for another moment, and then gave a new answer, "Rokopelli; Confusion." After a few seconds with her, anyone would be mixed up.

"Are you going to tell me he was making a river of tears, next?"

Any serious point about love was lost in the mental whirlwind caused by Uuni's guesses. Simulizi's expression twisted with intrigue after each one, obviously imagining how either of the possible relationship scenarios would have played out. My, my, my...but her guess about Trickery had the goddess's mind practically reeling. Perhaps the two males could be introduced? But Trickery was so old...Or perhaps they already had been introduced? Yes, she was sure they'd already met by now. She'd have to talk to some people about this...

Oh, blast, she'd gone and become distracted again. Back to the tale.

"Well, yes, there was crying and lots of solitary moping afterwords, but only on the one side--Khuluma's side, that is." With a wave of her paw she finally bubbled out, "Out of all the gods he could've had under his spell, he chose PREY. Palahala! Can you believe it? That big, smelly, half-hooved beast who roams around with wildebeests or...or gazelles or something," she murmured, expression tinged with disgust.

"And what's more, Khuluma fell in love with him when he was much younger--when Khuluma was younger, I mean. And Palahala was much older. And just think, such a well-groomed little thing head-over-paws for a dusty, prey-loving..." her voice trailed off. She seemed unable to fathom how the pretty blond boy could've felt attracted to someone like the god of Prey. Clearly he was not to her taste.

"But even though Khuluma is so well-spoken, not to mention easy on the eyes, Palahala wouldn't have him! So Khuluma flew off to hide away in a little, dingy cave all by himself to collect dust and cry for days and days. I'm just...in shock, Uuni. I just had to tell someone!" she said, almost pouting. But the spark in her eyes showed that she was far from upset.
