Kadryn was happy; her week of grounding was up! She was now free to leave the village once more. To celebrate, Kadryn decided to go to Ayr and tray her hand at another Ayrala dragon. Deciding against flying there.... since she' gotten lost last time she did that and ended up at Eowyn, she got a ride in the ferry that left regularly to Ayr. Useful things boats, she thought as she watched the waves. I can go places and arrive without being exhausted. Looking around, she saw the tall spires of Ayr and its fog approaching. Smiling she stood up and began stretching. No point in straining something. She smelled the air, rain.... but not soon. I better make this fast. She decided to not wait for the boat to dock, spreading her wings she flew from the boat, riding the sea breeze inland. For an hour she hunted among the winding canyons and tall spires, but no luck. Growling under her breath she turned to go home. She was almost to the beach and boat when she heard a sound of a large animal attempting to be sneaky. Quickly furling her wings, Kadryn hid behind a thin spire. Quietly waiting, she soon heard the sounds again. They were coming closer. She smiled; apparently a dragon was attempting to be the hunter. And he’d almost exceeded… sometimes it’s good to be small. Large things are so noisy some days. Kadryn was amused. The dragon was on the ground… an easier target. She shook her head, Ayr dragons should stay in the air where they have the advantage, she thought, don’t they know that they’re vulnerable on the ground. Kadryn quickly and quietly climbed the spire until she could see the dragon. Quite close… and with its head touching the ground as it tried to track her scent. This is almost too easy, Kadryn thought as she silently dropped down on top of its head.
