Did Hel find anything peculiar or suspicious about that abnormal fog that seemed to roll through Amity? Nah. It was business as usual for the ghoul, and business today meant improving her swimming skills. This day, the wingless valkyrie could be found at a lake shore, surprisingly not stalking a psychopomp. No. She was working on her swimming, and that was something she felt like she could do alone for now.

Thus, setting down her bag on a nearby rock, the ghoul then proceeded to kick off her boots and start dressing down, humming as she did so.

"Splish splash~." A happy little voice sang accompanied by the sound of splashing. "Splish splash, splish splash~. And then the splashing stopped, as did the little singing voice.

There was another splash, this time from a fish jumping out of the water in a frantic attempt to get away from something large and brown that was chasing it just beneath the surface. Sibyl didn't notice the other ghoul approaching the lake just yet. It was fishing time.

Fishing time wasn't going too well..

Hel was in the process of pulling her tunic over heard when she heard singing…and splashing. The ghoul paused, her brows furrowed, before she just pulled off her tunic entirely and discarded it on top of her bag. Now clad in her bloomers and a tank top she paused where the water lapped the sand to stare out over the water’s surface.

Hmm…was someone else around…?

Her brows furrowed lightly, the ghoul started to wade into the water, still looking around.

While Hel was busy undressing, being completely paranoid and wading into the water, Sibyl was in hot pursuit of the fish she was chasing. It was one part play, one part hunt. Sibyl was hungry and all but a hunt was never fun if the fish just let her catch it! It was a game, obviously. A game the fish was happy to play. She was so focused on her playmate that she didn't even notice the ghoul wading through the water until she slammed into her.

The fat, blubbery baby seal at a whopping three feet in length from nose to fin slammed into the unsuspecting ghoul. Way to go, Sibyl. That's how we make friends here.

First, Hel felt something small ghost past her ankle, and she brushed it off as a fish. It was a lake after all…but her brows furrowed as she happened to catch a bigger, darker mass barreling underneath the water’s surface. What the Jack was tha—

Hel didn’t even have time to ponder it too hard, because the next thing she knew she was being slammed into. The force of the collision, and being taken out at the shins and knees, swept the ghoul right off of her feet and hurled her forward into the water. Ouch. Hitting the water that hard was like being bounced off of the side walk after getting punched in the face.

The reaper’s arms were flailing as she pushed herself back up to the surface, nostrils flaring as her fists were clenched. “OI!” She cried, her tone heated.

Wow! Okay. Um. What just happened? Sibyl squeaked on impact, flapping her fins and coughing up water as she flopped and rolled and tried to regain her composure. What did she just hit!? That hadn't been a fish! Large turquoise eyes searched all around until she spotted the nearby ghoul sitting in the water.

And she was angry.

Oh dear. Oh dear, this wasn't good. Not good, not good! What should she do?! She ducked down so only her eyes could be seen above the water's surface, her eyes wide and full of fear. She'd never seen this ghoul before. Could they be friends? Friends didn't get angry at friends. Everyone needed to be her friend.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the large brown seal moved closer to the angry ghoul. Ohh the water was shallow here, no wonder she'd slammed into her. "Ah..hello! I'm sorry. I didn't see you there." And then it hit her. There was a very important matter she needed to work out.

"Have you seen my fish?"

Okay…Hel was a little taken aback. She hadn’t counted on being bombarded into by a…seal? A large and round…and dare she say…cute seal at that. It was like looking at Xiu…but in…seal form…

Hel’s brow twitched.

Damn it.

She couldn’t stay mad.

Hel huffed, and then released the air out of her cheeks. She brushed her wet bangs to the side. “Ya, whatever…” She muttered, dismissing the event now, and then blinked. “…Your fish…? Uh…” Her brows furrowed. “…No…I have not…but this is a lake…there will be plenty more, ya?”

"Oh..." The seal looked terribly dejected as she drifted back, lowering to blow little bubbles in the surface of the water. She lost her playmate..the ghoul had a point and all but that fish could have been her friend!

At least until she ate it.

Wait! Maybe..! The seal suddenly perked up again, flapping her fins in the water and bouncing in place. "Yes! Yes, you're right! Ohohohoh! Play with me?"
