It was not everyday that a canine student arrived in Amityville. But when one did? It was hard to ignore the new scent. Frost was a white wolfos, a canine ghost of snow and ice. He thought with an underlying 'pack' mentality. So a new canine was met with curiosity, and with caution. It wasn't because he feared, but it was a simple instinct. A pack member sought out 'intruders' to see where they stood.
He followed the train from the school to the campus, fire, canine. Red eyes were alert as ears flicked around him, trying to pick up a bark or howl. Nothing but- Scent. He had a scent and following it around, the wolfos eventually caught up to the source. A boil, black and red.. orange? He was unsure, still, Frost went up, a small cough to get the boil's attention. "Morning." Not the most friendly hello, but he was new in the 'territory'.

Ever since he found his way to the Amityville Academy, Micail never thought he would actually get accepted. At first he had doubts about the place, but he couldn't vary well roam around with out knowing how to properly use his abilities. He didn't want to admit that he needed help, in fact he hated the idea of needing help. Needing help with something showed that you were weak, and he was not weak.
Micail stood from where he was sitting. He had been trying to sort out his room when he finally got bored of doing it. Rather then stay in his room he figured he would go have a look around the school. Eventually he found a rather comfortable spot to sit down and take a small nap. He yawned and stretched then placed a hand to his head. It was interesting to see what the Academy was like on the inside. He didn't notice many canine students though... Of course that changed when he noticed a scent in the air. The sent of another canine... and that canine happened to be standing right behind him. His ears twitched when the boil talked. He turned glancing at him a little caught off guard.
"Uh... Morning." He eyed the other student. He had seen the canine a few times before and knew that he was or snow and ice. Just perfect, case he loved the cold oh so much.

There was always that certain way that canines would act around each other. Sometimes it would be no problem, other times, it was nothing but wary looks, passive aggressive stances, and maybe a bit of growling. Frost tried not to growl. He tried because he had no reason to even if instinct told him to. New male, assert who was the dominant. A sigh left him rather than a growl. He had been alright at frightnight, and he’d been rather controlled, but with age came a lot of things, a rush of instinct being part of it.
“I don’t think I’ve noticed you around before. But, perhaps we met at frightnight? I’m Frost in the Storm.” He offered his hand, tail raised up along with his ears. “Knob goblin. I assume you’re a new student?”

Micail just stood there for a moment as he watched the other canine closely. He wasn't sure if it was the instinct or just the mood but tentions seemed a little... high. Then again with two canines the tention would always be there until things were sorted out between them. Was he friend or foe? Alpha or Omega... those were the questions that came up the moment they laid eyes on etch other. So far, from what he could tell the canine in front of him didn't seem to want to make waves. Though, Micail wouldn't blame him if he did cause he was sure the same thing was running though his head. He shifted a little before he reached out and grabbed the offered hand. Might as well go a long with it.
"Yeah... I think I've seen you around before at frightnight. Micail, and yeah... I and new here." He made sure to keep eye contact as he spoke. He wasn't issuing a chalenge or anything, but nether was he going to submit. He wanted to see how this was going to play out.

A handshake sent a lot of messages. To Frost it said, 'hey I'm not looking for a fight or anything I'm just kind of here'. It also said, 'yeah I don't have any motives against you but I am new so this is just a bit awkward let's figure it out like civilized halloweeners.' Frost could accept these things, he took the handshake at that, and he'd work off of it and try not to go back to 'basics' as it were.
"Ah, that's where it was then. Welcome to Amityville. We've had a good number of new students arriving as of late. Almost hard to keep up with the influx of the new faces." He shifted a bit back. "How have you found the school thus far? Joined any clubs?"

"Yeah. I think I met a lot of students running around here during fright night." He took his hand back after the handshake. He was glad to see that they could just talk now, though the tention would probably always be there. It wasn't anything against Frost, it was just Micails nature and he was always watchful around others who could control water and ice. "Yeah, I've noticed. Seems like they are taking in a lot of new students." He shrugged as he crossed his arms. "The school its self... i guess its not so bad, though I get lost a lot more then I'd like..." he said, slightly annoyed with the fact that he couldn't even find the restroom when he needed it. "As for the clubs... no." He motioned. "I've checked them out during fright night but Like i said before, I cant even find the bathroom when I need it. Finding a club in this place would be complicated, not to mention one that i would even be interested in." he reached up and rubbed the back of his neck.

Fire never mixed with ice, but it didn't set the wolfos on edge. He'd grown up understanding it as another facet of life. Still, at most he would worry that his cold might annoy or harm others. It was rarely intentional after all. "Scent." It was a simple thing to say but- "You'll notice the more you wander, but the halls all have certain linger scents. Teacher rooms are the most noticeable. Once you've got a scent down it helps with directions." It was a small trick, but possible helpful. "Other then that there are maps. As for clubs, A hob Tybalt runs the k9 club. It might be worth looking into. I run tea club and ah..." He muttered the last part. "cuddle club."
He waved it off. "The clubs aren't that hard to find either. Best bet is just find a member and have them show you."

Of course the moment he had mentioned scent Micail felt like an idiot. "Well of course..." He couldn't help the slight blush that formed on his cheeks due to embarrassment. "I knew that... It's just..." He glanced away as he slid his hands into his pockets. "I have to get use to the different scents is all..." He mumbled that last part hoping the elder student wouldn't hear how idiotic he sounded. Oh and of course... maps. His ears went down as he gave a slight comical glare at the ground. He wasn't even going comment on that... considering he lost his map of the school and didn't want to seem foolish for asking for another. He looked up when the K9 and other clubs were mentioned.
"K9 club?" His ears snapped up in attention. "Like... a club for us?" That sounded interesting. "Tea?" He raised an eyebrow. "What... that?" He had never heard of tea or had it before. The wolfos had mentioned something else but he couldn't make it out.

Frost actually nodded. “With the ahh… more fragrant students wandering the halls time to time it can be a bit overwhelming to say the least. And some advice… avoid the other bathroom. Just… Din’s fire I cannot begin to describe what it’ll do to one’s nose.” He rubbed his own vaguely recalling the scent. “It’ll take one or two passes to get a scent down. Just don’t try to mark anything. Heard a rumor someone tried that once and… obviously you can imagine the results it got.” A hand waved it off. Marking territory that was not your own, now those were just s**t for manners.
“And yes. K9. K and then 9. How they spell it. But it’s for those of us who while we might not share a race or species per say, we share a common thread of origin. Tybalt hosted the club booth as fright night if you caught it. Mostly we ‘hang out’, my only recommendation is not to try to pull rank. Tybalt is… rather laid back, and we’re not a strict pack but there is a hierarchy. Alpha in one manner- Oh and avoid Shehk.” The wolfos bristled. “She’s a dominating alpha, that one. As for tea… you honestly don’t know?”
A sad shake of his head. “It’s… we’ll think of it as flavored water, somewhat like a juice but.. not? Ah, really it’s hard to describe from my view as anything short of an art. In any event…” He sniffed the air. “Mind if I ask what you are exactly? I get the sense it’s… very much what I am not.” He tacked onto the end. “White Wolfos that is.”

Micail made a face when Frost mentioned the bathroom. Micail had a sensitive nose to begin with... so if possibly he always tried to avoid places that had an... overwhelming scent. "Thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure to be careful if I ever pass that way." He motioned. "I mostly try to avoid anything with... well... an overpowering scent." He made a face as he shuddered remembering back to when he had walked into a store had so much incense, the smell was overwhelming and he had passed out. "Yeah I figured that." Was his response to making territory. "I don't have that much of a death wish thanks." He smiled.
"K9 club huh?" He shrugged. "Cant say i've ever been apart of a group before. I've always been on my own so I'm not real sure about being around a group. Hell Im not even sure if I have a rank." He shrugged again. "I've always fought cause i had too... Ok, and maybe because I tend to loose my temper some times but I've been good at keeping control..." He rubbed the back of his head. "Cant say i've met Shehk but as long as she doesn't have a problem with then I wont have a problem with her."
"Never had tea." He said simply. "Flavored water?" He raised an eyebrow. "Huh... I guess I'll have to try it some time." When asked what he was he just smiled. "Not really. I don't mind. I'm a Hellhound..." It probably all made sense now on why they reacted the way they did when they had met. Fire + Ice = tention. "What about you?" his ears twitched. A reaction to the breeze that just passed by.

He knew the feeling of an overpowering scent, oh, did he know that feeling well. "Other bathroom and... If you have pains with salt water Miss Savage's class is not ideal. Her class is the only one where I've really had a scent 'problem' but it was not so much overpowering as simply ambient if you know what I mean. Made it harder to pick up on the others." A shrug, the wolfos looked him up and down.
"I was raised for rank, so I can't quite relate. K9 is just lose. More a common comforts and support for slightly shared kinship. If you have temper issues-" Red eyes darted around, "there are little rubbery things. Toys balls? They make sound when you bite them and refuse to stop until you break them or rip them apart. Good for when you have built up aggression." He might have chewed his way through a few of them.
"As for tea I'll see what I can find for a hellhound. Something warm, if not hot outright. If you like spice and sweet you might be a boil for chai." His tail flicking back and forth, tiny flakes of snow and ice came off. "Ghostly white wolfos. I'm from far north so.. most haven't heard of my species. Or met me and mine. Part of why I'm here, learn about other cultures."

Micail chuckled at his mention of one of the classes. "Believe me. I don't think im getting near any classes that have to do with water. Not really my thing." It was kinda obvious. Hellhound, fire... meaning his weakness was water or ice. Well... and he wasn't one for the cold. He didn't mind it... he was just more slow going when it was cold out. "Sounds like pain. I don't like not being able to pick up on others. Makes me nervous." He looked the wolfos up and down with a smile. "Well im not that bad... once you get to know me." He gave a grin that could have been mistaken for a smirk. "Toys are for pups. I prefer to let my anger out by punching something..." he shrugged. "Most of the time. It works better for me." He had something like punching bag in his room for his... bad days.
He let out a yawn, showing off his white fangs. He then shifted and moved his shoulders feeling a little stiff. When Frost mentioned tea for a hellhound he smiled. "That sounds like my thing. I like spice and sweet. There was this coffee I had when Fright Night was going on... it was like that. really good too. Kinda wish I got more of it. Huh... thats what I thought. Figured you were from somewhere North." He motioned. "Your pretty new to me. Never met a Ghostly white wolfos before... then again... i've never met another hell hound ether...." He thought bout it then shrugged. "Actually i've never met many other canine period."

Ah, well, some could stand the water. But then- he was adverse to extreme heat and fire. He'd probably be a bit uncomfortable himself. "It's like any other scent or stink. You get used to it. Some like to roll in it though jack only knows why someone would want to smell like wet dog." Some students.. some.. students....
"Punching bags are well and good but sparring out in the gym is really the best. Quick, harsh, you set yourself up to be challenged. And the balls are not for pups alone. They make them for adults as well." There was a joke but it passed Frost by. A shake of his head, a few snowflakes fell out before vanishing into the air. "My friend Gene actually ran the coffee booth. If you stop by sometime I can see about getting you the drink again. She's a good ghoul, helpful and kind." And great for cuddles when he got lonely.
Hellhound and white wolfos. And odd pair if they were to be in the k9 club... then again there were others. "Pity. A pack is a good thing to have. No shame in not having one but... it's all I've known. But, have you any questions about the school itself?" He was less leery, ears flicking around and tail swaying rather lazily.

"Yeah." He chuckled. "Though I have to admit, its not a scent I would want to get use too... But im sure I will eventually." His ears went up the moment sparring was mentioned. "You can spar here?" He seemed a little surprised. "I didn't think they had a place for sparring." Shrugging he smiled. "I'll have to see about checking that out. It sounds like a good way to get out agression." He chuckled when Frost mentioned the stress balls came in adult sizes too.
"Really? That would be cool. I really like the coffee she had." He smiled. "I didn't get the chance to talk to her though. Her booth was really busy." He shrugged as his tails flicked. "Mostly I'm just trying to get my sense of direction... but I am wondering about classes. Can I apply to classes any time or is there a time frame?"

A nod, the wolfos flexed his claws. "Humanoid or natural form is allowed out in the gym. Rest of the building is off limits to spars and natural forms. For the better really." A flick of his tail and Frost smiled, a full grin, fangs and all.
"I'd never had it until she gave me some. Classes... some you sign up for, some you just show up. It varies." He shrugged. "Most it's show up and sign in. Showing up late, some will let you in others not. Its just.." A shrug. "It's an eccentric school, I'll give it that."
