Senju Ichizoku (Senju of the Forest)
User Image

Current
Historically the oldest clan of Konoha and one of the oldest among the shinobi world despite official Hi no Kuni records placing Senju from roughly thirty years before the founding of Konohagakure no Sato to the end of Rokudaime Hokage's reign. Many modern shinobi genealogists even dates the original Senju Ichizoku and the current clan in Konoha separately due to the controversial debates over the later "true members" of Senju (from Godaime and Rokudaime's time) whom all held different familial names because this lineage originally married its way out.

When the last male whom held the name of Senju passed on, the first Senju clan survived a little longer through their blood relatives of the Uzumaki Fuuin masters. But the obliteration of the whirlpool nation left only the descendants whom mingled with the Hi no Kuni natives, for the Uzumaki Fuuin masters were all massacred by those whom coveted their advanced Fuuin knowledge. Even so, despite there being no official Senju clan by the time of Sandaime Hokage's retirement, the people of Konohagakure whom upheld Senju traditions and beliefs in their stead kept this clan's legacy of contributions in all of the shinobi fields -- most famously Esei and the Fuuin arts -- alive to this very day.

The current Senju clan came about roughly one hundred years before Juushodaime Hokage's time. Thus, the Senju Ichizoku of today was rebuilt by Konoha from the villagers whom most strongly inherited the founding blood. Consequently, they, like their relatives of the Uchiha clan of today, are scorned by rival shinobi villages -- even Konohagakurians alike -- as mere facsimiles of ancient legends. Indeed, Senju did remain for a while as figurehead royalty until they reestablished their current stance as dangerous Fuu masters of unrivaled caliber.

Origins
Legends favor the original Senju Ichizoku's founding as post the immediate years of Rikudo Sennin, claiming this clan's ancestry from the younger of the two sons -- a man who inherited his father's role as the leader of the shinobi world. It was said that the elder brother was deeply slighted by his father's choice, and dedicated the rest of his days to bring chaos upon the shinobi world which he felt had betrayed him. Because of the endless power struggles between the two brothers, it was whispered that the Sennin's last act began a long history of strife that lasted with the siblings' blood descendants, the Uchiha and the Senju.

There would be no resolution to this ancient grudge until Rokudaime Hokage's time, though Konohagakurians whisper that even today Senju and Uchiha still compete bitterly in every shinobi field. Apparently the friendlier rivalry of today was encouraged on both sides, as long as they shared mutual understanding that the village comes first. After all, repeats of the mistakes of the original Senju and Uchiha clans, the village authorities made perfectly clear, would not be tolerated. Just as the village built up Senju and Uchiha again, they can just as brutally destroy them.

Legacy
Without a doubt, the most famous of the Senju were their leaders Hashirama and his younger brother Tobirama, whom held the positions of Shodaime and Nidaime Hokage respectively. Not much is known about Shodaime and Nidaime's personal backgrounds, except that they led the band whom eventually came to be known as the Senju from distant lands and gained fame as they settled internal disputes between the native Hi no Kuni clans. Among this band, several other well-known members staked their claim to fame in the same time period, such as Genjutsu Master Senju Touka.

The creditability of the Senju clan size at the time of Shodaime was also left open to debate, as the name "Senju of the Forest" was first given as an honorary title to Hashirama's alliance of shinobi clans. (Similarly, the Uchiha numbers of this time was probably equally inflated, given that clan's monopolization of the shinobi clans they defeated.)

Despite the philosophy of Hashirama differing from their Uchiha counterparts in creating allies out of rival clans rather than promoting enslavement, likely it was as far back as the founding period that the "full-blooded" Senjus were already in decline. Many Konohagakurians refuse to believe in this possibility, as it will produce questions whether or not Hashirama held ulterior motives in his unique philosophy. Instead, they choose to believe that Shodaime Hokage truly hoped to create a gentle shinobi village where family was more important than international prestige. Given Konoha's militant history, and their later claims to fame, the apprehension of their citizens is not at all surprising.

Status

Founding clan (Konohagakure no Sato royalty)

Head of Family

Senju Shinrei (Zephyr)

Physical

The first Senju clan was said to be tall and fair featured as of face, albeit possessing generally dark or tanned skin, with dark hair and amber-gold eyes. Albinoism was noted to occur approximately once every six generations. Unlike most cases of albinoism in humans, albino Senju carries the trademark crimson eyes.

The current generation of Senju varies quite a bit in physical appearance, partly because this lineage was only successfully reestablished approximately 150 years ago. Without a doubt, those whom inherited "the thickest blood" today have many of the notable physical features possessed by the original Senju clan. The current Senju clan is also -- for the majority -- more closely related to the Uchiha clan of today. Whilst in the Founding era they were very distant kin, today the two clans are as close as from second to fourth cousins.

Bloodline

General
As "children of the Sennin", the Senju are sensitive to and able to differentiate all six different chakra types of the six realms of existence. Though all shinobi have the potential to use Yin Release and Yang Release to some degree, the ability to master Yin Release or and Yang Release is exclusive solely to the closest descendants of the Sennin because they are the only ones who can physically manifest actual Yin or Yang chakra. On rare occasions, a Senju possessing the trait for Elemental Creation is born though the most renowned ability of this clan is the special property of their cells that allows them to utilize both Yin Release and Yang Release in order to perform Yin-Yang Release.

Inheritance
Human beings are part of the natural order and possesses what the six realms of Rikudo classify as "human" chakra - this is composed of the physical and spiritual elements that are combined to form "raw" chakra, which is in turn given an inherent elemental trait to create elemental chakra. But human chakra is only one of the six types of chakras that exist in the world: Rikudo Sennin alone was unique in his ability to freely use all six existing types of chakras. But he did partly pass his ability to his children, whom in turn later produced the Uchiha and Senju clans.

For the Senju, this ability was to isolate and utilize three more types of chakras in addition to human chakra. The first of those two unique affinities would be the potential to harness nature's chakra, which notably only children of the Sennin could use - to become hosts of the bijuu and to learn the forbidden Sennin Arts. The other was the ability to utilize Yin-affinity and Yang-affinity chakra.

Despite popular belief, the kekkai genkai of the Senju clan is not characterized by the Mokōton Creation. Mokōton, is in fact but an unimpressive part of Senju heritage. As noted in the past by project Yamato, Mokōton is indeed performable by creating the physical wood through what Elemental Creation clans call the "Elemental Recombination" method, but this wood is clearly inferior. This is because the heart and soul of Mokōton - the legendary power to bend even the destructive bijuus to their will - instead traces back to the unique inheritance from Rikudo Sennin: the possibility to master Yin Release and Yang Release.

Yin-Yang Release
For outsiders, understanding Yin and Yang Release today is difficult since the existence of both forms is something of an lost art by as early as Rokudaime Hokage's youth. As the original Senju clan no longer formally existed by the years of his childhood, the secrets of Yin Release and Yang Release was scattered: in the summons whom once held friendships with the Senju clan and in their blood descendants born within the many clans of Konoha. The ones whom grew especially important in protecting Senju's secrets after the founding clan disappeared would be the Yuhi Genjutsu masters, as well as the Ino-Shika-Cho trio of the Yamanaka, Nara, and Akimichi alliance. Even the Eseinin have a part in preserving the inheritance, for medical techniques were a fragment of perfected Yang Release. Due to this factor of only "the thickest blood" being able to unravel Rikudo's legacy, the inheritors of Rikudo's blood all held part of the secret in the techniques they designed.

The Senju techniques of today were produced by current members of the clan. Members of the current Senju clan had traveled far and wide, to meet with other descendants of the Sennin -- their distant cousins of the Elemental Creation families -- the Fubukis of the far East, the Sandaas of the North, and even the nomadic Tetsuru and Kou clans of the South. These relationships ranged from violently volatile to ones that shared a common understanding as equal seekers of the Sennin's legendary wisdom.

From the descendants of Rikudo, they further pieced together bits of lost history. The formation of chakra requires both the "spiritual" and "physical" elements. But Yin chakra and Yang chakra were special, they discovered, because such chakra was formed from only half of the composite requirements. In essence, it is highly unstable chakra, yet the Sennin and his children were able to freely utilize Jutsus made by this unstable chakra. They figured out the best way to balance Yin Release was to add just enough trace Yang-affinity chakra to give form to shape, while a touch of Yin-affinity chakra gives shape to the form of Yang Release. Yin chakra and Yang chakra turned out not to be completely different antitheses of each other but rather counterbalancing elements.

True Yang manipulation of today is exemplified by most elemental Jutsu. True Yin manipulation of today is classified as most Genjutsu. But as children of the Sennin, the Senju possesses the understanding that was lost to the other Elemental Creation clans of what the "sixth" element really is. The recombinant "sixth" element of today is merely a shadowed remnant: the power of Rikudo Sennin was in his ability to materialize his dreams. The full form of Elemental Creation is Yin-Yang Release mastery. Yin-Yang manipulation is hence the ability to bend time and space: thus the original Senju clan were able to create techniques such as the Edo Tensei and Shiki Fuuin -- all techniques that duly defied the natural order.

Summary

  • Members of Senju are either of the Earth, Water, Wind, or Lightning affinities. (Earth/Water is a must in that exact order for those with the Mokōton trait.) As the only method to use Katon is via a bijuu, Senju of today cannot perform fire-based arts because bijuus are prohibited.
  • Members of the Senju can have up to five chakra affinities (Yin, Yang, Element 1, Element 2, Wood if applicable).
  • Other "Children of the Sage" qualifies to learn only techniques of either the Yin or Yang School. Approved "Children of the Sage" includes: Uchiha Ichizoku, all Elemental Creation Ichizokus, Fujiko Shamans, and those from ancient Konoha lineages. While Senju Ichizoku can learn both the Yin, Yang, and Yin-Yang Schools, Mokōton Creation is only learnable by Senjus with the specific genetic trait and of the appropriate order of elemental affinities.
  • Other "Children of the Sage" may have as many as up to three chakra affinities, with the exception of Elemental Creation clans, whom may have four (Yin or Yang, Element 1, Element 2, Recombinant Element if applicable).
  • Yin Release - the element of freedom, Inton focuses on spiritual and metaphysical manipulation and/or the release from defined physical form.
  • Yang Release - the element of body, Yōton focuses primarily on physical manipulation. It is also capable of acting as the triggering medium of life by stabilizing physical form.
  • Yin-Yang Release - element of creation, Onmyōton is characterizied by balanced Yin Release and Yang Release.

Conditioning Methods

Non-Senju lineage learners will be doing each training stage out of 0/15 instead.

Kōdo Chakurakontorōru Kenshū (Advanced Chakra Control Training)
A descendant of the Sage's natural sensitivity to different types of chakra can be further conditioned through advanced training methods. Before a student can be properly taught about Yin and Yang chakra, it is crucial to allow them to experience first-hand difficult chakra control concepts. In order to qualify for Kōdo Chakurakontorōru Kenshū (高度チャクラコントロール研修), several prerequisites must be met: mastery of chakra climbing and having attended certain fundamental lessons on chakra (Senju Ichizoku includes pre-studies of the Yin and Yang affinity). During the actual progression of the training, the student is also first-handedly exposed to unmolded chakra, Yin affinity chakra, and Yang affinity chakra in order to feel the difference between each.

The choice method for the actual trial relies on an ancient, colossal tree that is at the location of the old Senju compound of which the current era's Senju clan built their new compound. This tree was produced by Senju Hashirama, the Shodaime Hokage, and as a byproduct of Mokōton Creation is the perfect balance of Yin and Yang factor energy. Due to its origins, this tree is more easily unbalanced by Mokōton manipulation than natural woodlands.

When the Senju instructor shows the student the tree, the request is simple: to chakra climb the surface. However, the instructor will perform a certain type of Mokōton manipulation on the tree: the first will cause the bark surface to flake off and decay, ruining the tree at a swift pace, or in the second case, the bark will take on unnatural qualities that are more appropriate of metal. In either case, the imbalance of either Yin or Yang chakra distorts the Yin-Yang factor balance and consequently alters the form of the tree and makes chakra walking on the bark's surface impossibly difficult.

In order to successfully complete the task, the learner must add the missing factor - in the case of ruinous decay caused by Yin chakra, to stabilize the bark with chakra carrying the yang factor, and in the case of incorrectly displayed properties thanks to Yang chakra, to reverse the effects with stabilizing yin factor. Their task is not merely to scour the bark, but to balance the marginal chakra instability performed by the Senju instructor. Only then will the actual request - deceptively simple at a glance - be viable. An important lesson is learned: balancing chakra imbalance does not refer to pouring in ruinous amounts of input, but rather how that input is effectively used.

Special:
  • Reduces CP cost for all chakra requiring techniques not of the Yin School, Yang School, and Yin-Yang School by 15%.

Requirements: Senju Instructor (for this specific method), Chakra Climb, 15 Concentration, 20 Chakra Control
Training: Stage 1
The first part of this lesson is very straightforward. The Senju instructor will bring along a plant, and tell the student that he or she will show them Yin and Yang chakra, and the student will be asked to identify which it was depending on the effect the chakra has on the plant. When Yin chakra contacts the plant, the leaves will begin to minimally wilt, and when Yang chakra touches the plant, it will begin to exhibit minimal growth.

The instructor may ask the student to touch the plant, if they have any doubts of which chakra type was used. The plant, after being treated with Yang chakra, will also exhibit unnatural density that is more appropriate of minerals. The changes that the instructor makes will be very minor, and only noticeable upon close inspection.

Formula: 1d20 + Concentration
Successes: 0/10
Stage 2
For the second stage, the instructor will expand upon basic chakra molding principles learned in the shinobi Academy. Raw chakra in the body is essential Yang factor energy and when recombined with Yin factor energy produced by the mind, the chakra is stabilized as elemental-less, molded chakra. The focus here will be for the student to release chakra that is a precise mixture of Yin and Yang factors: proven by its contact with the plant, which should have no effects of change upon the plant.
DC: 30
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra Control
Successes: 0/10
Stage 3
The instructor will bring the student to the tree and ask them to scale the tree. As the student begins to climb, the instructor will perform Mokōton manipulation on the tree. Because the student does not understand the actual details of either nature manipulation yet, they must adapt by scaling down a certain portion of the chakra output in order to control the adverse effects upon the tree bark. Falling (failing the DC) will inflict Bleeding damage of 1-10 Hp upon the Student each time. This exercise is critical in the building of a student's natural aptitude in precisely estimating chakra levels.

In Inshi Manipyurēshon (Yin Factor Manipulation)
All projection-type techniques fall under In Inshi Manipyurēshon (陰 因子マニピュレーション), the most well-known of arts from this category being Genjutsu. But Senju instructors does not focus on utilizing basic Genjutsu to teach students about Yin Factor manipulation, deeming that as far too dangerous. Instead, the instructor focuses on building upon the preliminary principles learned in the Academy from mastering the Bunshin no Jutsu. This is because though unwittingly achieved at that time, students actually discover they are capable of Yin Factor Manipulation as far back as the Bunshin no Jutsu in the Shinobi Academy. The instructor explains to the students that it was for this peculiar reason that authorities had trouble deciding whether or not Bunshin no Jutsu should remain a Ninjutsu or is in actuality a Genjutsu, because the Bunshin art does not produce physical form.

In the course of learning the basic Bunshin, students had the molded, elemental-less chakra envelop their whole bodies to reproduce physical detail down to the last skin crease. Because the students at that point did not have the sufficient chakra control, for the most part they could only maneuver the Bunshin illusions linearly. This exercise focus on a different theory: to produce a Bunshin that is to act as the extended medium for 3 of the 5 senses, with the exception of the sense of taste and touch, because the metaphysical Bunshin technique is capable of neither and those two senses are also not practical. (Who would want to feel the pain of their Bunshin when it is destroyed?)

The first part of the exercise comprises of the instructor teaching the student how to separate out Yin-affinity chakra. As this link made from Yin chakra is more stronger than a link made by standard molded chakra, which comprises of both the Yin and Yang factor, it is also less stable and easily lost without the sufficient chakra control. The student consequently cannot be more than 50 feet away from the Bunshin at the start of this exercise - it will even take time to manipulate the Bunshin to even leave the source (the student).

For the actual exercise, the instructor blindfolds the student's eyes, and have their ears covered. The student is to use their link to the clone to have the clone act as a real extension of themselves: to see what the clone sees, hear what the clone hears, and smell what the clone smells.
Rank: -
Cp Cost (during training only): Reduces the student's CP to 50% only at the end of training.
Attack Turns: -
Reflex DC: -
Damage: -
Special:
  • Eligible now to learn advanced clone techniques because the student has learned to mentally link with clones.
  • Able to push the range of control on advanced clones up to 150 ft.

Requirements: Yin Chakra, Senju Instructor or someone who learned this technique, Advanced Chakra Control Training, Bunshin no Jutsu, 18 Chakra, 22 Chakra Control, 16 Concentration
Training: Stage One
The student is taught how to isolate Yin chakra. Usually a Senju instructor would use a the yin-yang insignia as an inspiring model. While forming the chakra, instead of adding an equivalence of stabilizing physical energy, the student forms only a menial core of that physical energy and builds the spiritual energy around it. This Yang core essentially allows the Yin Factor that envelops it to exist long enough for molding, preventing immediate dissipation due to the instability of Factors. This is the fully manifested form of the Yin chakra.
DC: 26
Formula: 1d20 + Concentration
Successes: 0/10
Stage Two
For the second stage, the student first uses the Bunshin no Jutsu and uses Yin Factor chakra to forge a connection between their mind and the clone. The success of this stage should be obvious when the Bunshin is capable of moving how the student wishes for it to, rather than copying the movements of the student like a puppet.
DC: 33
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra Control
Successes: 0/10
Stage Three
This part of the process is the most difficult: expanding the range which a student can control a clone. If the Yin connection was stabilized correctly, the student will find themselves able to see what the clone sees, smell what the clone smells, and hear what the clone hears. In order to make this stage more effective, the instructor usually blindfolds the student and places them at a far enough distance from the clone so that the student will not be able to easily overhear a whispered conversation whose contents is usually the goal for the clone to glean. The student not only has to maintain control over the clone at such a distance, but also to maintain the link between the clone's senses and his or her own.

Hosoku-jutsu: In Inshi Manipyurēshon Hakushi Jōtai (Supplementary Technique: Yin Factor Manipulation - Blank State)
The Senju clan's core conditioning technique on Yin Manipulation only begins with the mental link exercise. The first part of Yin Factor Manipulation focused upon external manipulation while the second part involves internal manipulation -- the user's own mind. How Hosoku-jutsu: In Inshi Manipyurēshon Hakushi Jōtai (補足術 ・ 陰 因子マニピュレーション 白紙状態 ) works is best paralleled to how the Hachimon Gates work by removing the body's limiters: this variation of Yin Factor Manipulation tricks the mind into temporarily ignoring the body's limiters, creating a "blank state" where the user will be in perfect focus and in harmonious sync with the mind and subsequently the mind's control over the body. The spirit can thus be tricked in such a manner to surpass the limitations of the body.

Because the actual bodily limiters are not deactivated, the body does not obtain superhuman speed or strength. However, prolonged use of this technique can be damaging upon the user, as Yin chakra poisoning slowly builds up. There's a good reason why only descendants of the Sage can qualify to learn techniques of this type.
Rank: B
Cp Cost: 50 + 15 per round held
Attack Turns: 4
Reflex DC: -
Damage: Inflicts a MHp damage of 30 - 50 + Chakra mod. every round on the user of this technique due to gradual Yin chakra poisoning.
Special:
  • Add Wisdom mod. to the Fort DC when attempting to move while poisoned or fighting paralysis and similar forms of status ailments.
  • x1.5 Wisdom mod. to the Sense Motive skill when facing Intimidation/Seduction or Diplomatic coaxing.
  • x1.5 Wisdom mod. to the second Will Save when resisting enemy Genjutsu or enemy Ninjutsu that targets the mind (technique applied as an reaction after initial capture).

Requirements: Senju Instructor or someone who learned this technique (also need access to Senju's Library), Advanced Chakra Control Training, Yin Factor Manipulation, 25 Wisdom, 34 Chakra Control, 28 Concentration
Training: Stage One
The first stage demands research on the human body's limiters and for the student to compile a basic understanding of how exactly the Hachimon works by interfering with the human body's limiters. As the research stage progresses, the student will be able to familiarize with the fact that there are certain types of Genjutsu that can trick the body into releasing its limiters. There are in fact two types of limiters, limiters on the body's strength so as to reduce strain, and limiters on the mind so as to reduce the strain of information overflux. Hachimon, when all eight gates are opened, releases all of the limiters. However, the consequent strain is too high, as exhibited by the price of apparent death for a user of Hachimon whom opened all eight gates.

When the student advance to the final part of this research stage, he or she will realize that like Hachimon, the reason those special Genjutsu were also not practical was because the consequent informational strain was too great. In short, Hachimon and those classified Genjutsu had the right idea by releasing limiters to increase power, but there is a number to how many limiters can be freed before the human body reaches physical shutdown.

The Senju developed a special method to offset the increment of one type of informational reception but at the same time to decrease another form of informational sensitivity so that if Yin chakra is used at the right part of the brain and with just the right amount, a special region that promotes more mechanical, compartmentalized functions will allow the mind to offset everything other than the task immediately perceived at hand as secondary in importance. That way, the body will not force shutdown all the while enhancing the mind's perception of reality.
DC: 35
Formula: 1d20 + Wisdom
Successes: 0/10
Stage Two
The second stage appears to be meditation at a simple glance: the actual focus is within the mentalscape. When Yin chakra is used to bypass certain limiters of the mind, the human mind's division over logic and imagination which is normally quite separated but by a small mental bridge has the bridge filled with Yin chakra that acts as a selective barrier. In effect, a "blank state" will be created, where the user will harmonize with control over the mind and thus control over the body because the interference factor of human emotions and inclinations have been mentally relegated to that of secondary importance.
DC: 40
Formula: 1d20 + Concentration
Successes: 0/10
Stage Three
The third stage involves actually using the state of harmony for active situations. The student may choose whether to resist a Genjutsu technique, or to be subjected to skills that appeal to the emotions (Seduction, Intimidation, Diplomacy).
DC: 44
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra Control
Successes: 0/10
Stage Four
The most brutal portion of Yin Factor training is to endure the strain placed upon the mind as a result of unnaturally reprogramming the limiters. The student will test to see not only how long it is viable to hold this technique, but also, to what degree they can control their perception of allies while under the blank state. In the worst case, failure may lead to the inability to discern whether allies are enemies or not, and thus in the potential incident a student may run wild, an instructor is absolutely necessary to teach the final stage of this technique. While training this stage, a student will suffer the full MHP damage this technique will inflict in its perfected state.

Yō Inshi Manipyurēshon (Yang Factor Manipulation)
Essentially Yō Inshi Manipyurēshon (陽 因子マニピュレーション) can be described as an Eseijutsu technique without requiring the need of seals. This is because it is a transfer of life energy in order to stabilize a target's physical state. The manner in which a Senju instructor teaches Yang Factor Manipulation to a student is also of peculiar interest. They will teach the basics of forming Yang chakra, but the next step is not forcing the student to figure out shape manipulation on their own or to teach them an elemental-less technique.

A Senju instructor instead brings the student to the village hospital. Because those without prior medical training are not allowed to tend directly to patients by Konoha law, the instructor tells the student to instead prepare the medicinal plants. The ones that requires tending to are the plants that grows in climates drastically different from Konoha's -- after learning the basics of Yang chakra, the student is expected to learn how to correct physical deterioration with the correct corresponding ratio of Yang chakra.
Rank: -
Cp Cost (only during training): Reduces the student's CP to 50% at the end of training.
Attack Turns: -
Reflex DC: -
Damage: -
Special:
  • Due to the instability of Yang chakra and the difficulty in controlling such a chakra affinity, the following effects only apply if the user is not in combat mode. (Either guarded or covered for by teammates.)
  • Therefore the technique can only be applied three rounds after leaving combat. This also means Yang Factor Manipulation isn't always active.
  • Must physically contact the intended target and remain in contact while healing. Can immediately stabilize fatal damage (-10 Hp or below and preventing the shifting step to the state of death).
  • Additionally heals by +75 Hp per 15 ranks in Ninjutsu
  • There will be a 15% Hp cost equivalent to the full amount of additional Hp healed thanks to Yang Factor Manipulation, because the user is literally transferring a portion of their life-force to strengthen the effective pace of Esei techniques.

Requirements: Yang Chakra, Senju Instructor or someone who learned this technique, Advanced Chakra Control Training, B-ranked or lower Eseijutsu, 18 Chakra, 22 Chakra Control, 24 Concentration
Training: Stage One
In the first stage, similar to the preliminary Yin Factor Manipulation training, a Senju instructor will teach the student how to properly isolate Yang affinity chakra. Once again the basis of providing a solid form for Yang affinity chakra is on the same core thesis: to create a Yin base and this time to allow the Yang chakra to burn like a flame around that base. This is the essential form of Yang chakra.
DC: 34
Formula: 1d20 + Concentration
Successes: 0/10
Stage Two
For the second stage, the student will learn from the Senju instructor that Yang Factor Manipulation is dangerous to learn for anyone other than descendants of the Sennin because it is literally transferring the life-force of a shinobi, and only the children of the Sennin with notable chakra reserves and strong life-force can endure such a unique type of Esei manipulation. As Yang chakra is the essence of life itself, this makes Yang chakra the primary candidate for strengthening any Esei technique. Yang energy will reach directly into the core DNA of a living object, and induce growth and development based on the core DNA from the state of the organism's prime. In this manner, even cells that are not able to be regenerated by typical Esei arts as they remain in perpetual G0 phase can be reproduced. The student will begin to treat plant samples in need of critical care.
DC: 32
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra Control
Successes: 0/10
Stage Three
Once the second stage is completed, a student qualifies to treat a patient. The third stage has the student calibrate how much chakra input they will need to effectively heal a human patient. They will practice both how long they can maintain this technique before exhaustion, as well as how to not kill themselves by accidentally transferring all of their life-force. The instructor would make sure it is ingrained well into the student's mind that any nausea or discomfort while performing the technique should not be ignored as minor factors. Failures of the check during this part will produce -1% total Hp.
DC: 30
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra
Successes: 0/10

Kōdo-jutsu: Rentanjutsu (Advanced Art: Alkahestry)
Kōdo-jutsu: Rentanjutsu (高度術 ・錬丹術) refers to the art of controlling the bodily energy flow: in other words, the culmination of years of Senju research into the origins of handseals, the involvement of handseals with the flow of the chakra system, and how to enhance mastery over that flow by creating a perfect circle of energy transfer.

Rediscovered only after the carvings on the old Senju Temple was deciphered with the aid of their cousin clans whom possessed similarly coded writings, the principles of Rentanjutsu were based on the philosophy that there exists a flow of life energy deep within the earth which the first Senju clan called the "dragon". According to the carvings, the dragon breathes the energy flowing metaphorically from the tops of mountains down to the land, nourishing everything it passes with that energy as does blood coursing through the veins. The first generation Senju called this concept the Dragon's Pulse (Lung Mei) and believes this was the origin of the six existing types of chakra which the Rikudo Sennin could use. This holds some basis of truth, for different as the six existing types of chakras are, the six types of extant chakras also hold a certain common ancestry.

The principle of the Lung Mei flow is thus prevalent in all things and breathes in rhythm with life forms and nature, essentially, it is what ties all life on this earth together. The descendants of Rikudo possess the power to read the flow of the Dragon's Pulse, thereby becoming not only able to commune with nature and understand their surroundings, but to sense the presence and movements of the people and animals around them as well by reading the pulse of life energy within their bodies.

For the children of the Sage, whom mastered fully control over the body's Yin Factor and Yang Factor, handseals are no more than mere crutches. Once learning that the number of handseals and the specific forms of the handseals were only to maximize each stage of chakra flow for Jutsu performance, the Senju discovered that by establishing difficult Chakra Control conditioning beforehand, they can replace the need for a lengthy march of standard seals. The only seal that Senju uses in place of the standard twelve is instead based on the insignia of "om" and holds no correlation to the zodiac twelve. Konohagakurians have referred to this as the prayer seal, due to what the form itself resembles.

The seal itself works by maximizing the energy flow from both halves of the body and encircling the energy to the core tenketsu nodes in the center of the body. By using the shinobi's core tenketsu nodes in the center of the body to exponentially mold and produce the chakra required for Jutsu, a shinobi can consequently exponentially decrease his Jutsu cast time.

Requirements: Senju Instructor or someone who learned this technique (need access to Senju's Library), Advanced Chakra Control Training, Yin Factor Manipulation, Yang Factor Manipulation, Chakra Control 30, Concentration 40
Training: Stage One
The first stage requires access to the Senju's archives in order to learn about the history of Rentanjutsu, its involvement with the body's chakra system, and how the Senju today uses Rentanjutsu to understand the flow of energy exchange that occurs during Jutsu usage. As this is the final step of learning about advanced chakra control concepts, the research portion is also considerably difficult.
DC: 50
Formula: 1d20 + Concentration
Successes: 0/10
Stage Two
The Yin Factor and Yang Factor energies of the body is used as measuring sticks for this stage since in qualifying for learning Rentanjutsu, the student is already able to accurately manipulate both. The hands, which possess the most sensitive chakra nodes, will utilize the "om" seal in order to closely regulate the chakra flow. The "prayer" seal is in this form specifically because in the preparation of a Jutsu, the student will manipulate the Yang Factor to flow towards the central tenketsu nodes and then allow the influx of Yin Factor beginning from the other side of the body to create standard chakra.

To be more accurate, the left hand regulates Yin Factor flow, while the right hand regulates preliminary Yang Factor flow. If the central tenketsu nodes are becoming overwhelmed, the hands serve as a lightning-rod for some of the corresponding Factor energy and to reabsorb it into the body system.

Yin Release (Inton)

Inton: Kyōten Kengen (Yin Release: Sutra Manifestation)
The simplest application of Inton is to utilize Yin chakra to define a metaphysical shape. During preliminary Yin Factor Manipulation training, metaphysical sensory connections was achieved in such a manner. In the secondary part of Yin Factor Manipulation training, the student learned to create a metaphysical barrier in their own mind to clear their thoughts.

Inton: Kyōten Kengen (殷遁 ・経典顕現) essentially uses Yin-affinity chakra to produce a metaphysical form for the numerous sutras which a Fuu comprises of. By giving the composite parts of a Fuu visible form, a Yin master can inspect the layers of sutra rings that encode a Fuu. By layering the same rings of sutras over at a certain angle, a Yin manipulator can either reinforce a Fuu's strength or interfere with its strength.
Rank: C
Cp Cost: 35 + [Chakra required for the target seal]
Attack Turns: 3
Reflex DC: -
Damage: -
Special:
  • Can be used to reinforce a Fuu seal. The required DC to resist the effects of the Fuu, any damages or hampering effects the Fuu inflict, or the DC to remove the Fuu with a key-Fuu will be doubled.
  • Can alternatively be used to interfere with a Fuu seal. The required DC to resist the effects of the Fuu, any damages or hampering effects the Fuu inflict, or to remove the Fuu with a key-Fuu will be halved.

Requirements: Senju Instructor or someone who learned this technique, a Fuu master or access to prepared seals, Yin Factor Manipulation, 24 Chakra Control, 25 Concentration, 22 Fuuinjutsu
Training: Stage One
Once the instructor has at least two seals prepared, the student will use Yin chakra to manifest the sutra rings that define the Fuu seals. This stage is mostly practicing holding on to the manifested form of the sutra rings.
DC: 36
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra Control
Successes: 0/10
Stage Two
The student will closely examine the rings and note differences and similarities in the sutra order. It will quickly become apparent that Fuus with similar workings have really similar sutra patterns, and all Fuus at the least start and end with the same sutra code. The student will copy down the sutra ring on a blank piece of paper for study.

A good instructor will show the student additional Fuu seals as test subjects, until the student is able to decode the meaning in the order of the patterns and associate certain functions with certain sutra characters.
DC: 34
Formula: 1d20 + Fuuinjutsu
Successes: 0/10
Stage Three
The final stage involves actually angling and layering the sutra rings. When the position of the original sutra ring and the copied ring is very close together and facing about the same direction, the copied sutra ring will server to emphasize the original layer of sutras and consequently strengthen a Fuu.

Conversely, when the position of the original sutra ring and the copied ring is layered a certain distance apart and facing different directions so that the end coding of the copied ring is above the start coding of the original ring, the copied sutra ring will serve as something akin to energy interference on the original seal and weaken the Fuu.

Inton: Fushizen Yūbi (Yin Release: Unnatural Grace)
Inton: Fushizen Yūbi (殷遁 ・不自然優美) reflects the first Senju clan's ability to subjugate bijuus and anomalies of nature as children of the Sennin. The primary focus of this Inton technique is using Yin-affinity chakra to seize control over a target's imagination and essentially imposing an indictment over the body by hijacking their spirit with Yin Factor control. It works well on any target that can be imbalanced by Yin chakra, whether they have a physical body or not does not matter as long as they embody a spirit of some form.

The user will encase their body in a shell of Yin-affinity chakra. When an antagonized enemy attempts to harm the user, the user will release a pulse of Yin-affinity chakra, which serves as natural pacification. The Yin-affinity chakra will also poison the chakra of all targets within a radius of the shield, and endow the desire to harm anything carrying chakra signatures different from this technique's user. Essentially, this terrifying technique will allow the user to turn enemies against each other. Their disposition towards the Yin user also change: only in the actual timing between the effects of this technique will the enemy exhibit moments where their original self-consciousness is intact. Due to the manner in which this technique operates, the user of this technique usually makes sure they lure the enemy into a situation where the user is alone because this techniques does not spare allies from its effects.

Will Save: 1d20 + Chakra Control vs 1d20 + Will Save

  • Can be used as a reaction to attacks.
  • The first Will save is for the enemy to resist pacification. If it is a success, the enemy will stop in their tracks from targeting the user of this technique. They are temporarily robbed of the desire to inflict harm.
  • The second Will save is for the enemy to resist the urge to attack their ally. If multiple enemies are around, each enemy under the effect of this technique will generate an appropriate number to see which ally they will attack. If the enemy succeeds the second Will save, this will simply mean that particular enemy will not attack their allies (the others if applicable still make checks accordingly).
  • If there are no other allies around, the enemy under the effect of this technique will proceed to hurt themselves.
  • Attacks made by affected pcs upon their own allies will be based on the last officially made series of attacks.
  • If affected pcs are going to hurt themselves, only certain attacks from the last series of attacks count (certain Jutsu, Taijutsu or weaponry arts).
  • At the start of every round, all under the effect of this technique repeats the first and the second Will save.
  • x1.2 to the user of this technique's Intimidation checks used following a unsuccessful Will save from the enemy.

Inton: Gyakuten no Sekai Jun (Yin Release: Reversal of World Order)
Inton: Gyakuten no Sekai Jun (殷遁 ・逆転の世界順) is a technique whose primary purpose is to reprogram a Fuu's properties in order to destroy the Fuu or to alter its contents. In essence, this technique builds upon the basics learned from mastering the Yin Release: Sutra Manifestation technique.

Instead of forming a copied ring of sutras in order to affect the original seal by positioning interference, this technique uses Yin chakra to directly cut into the original sutra ring. Overwriting the entire ring of sutras in the reverse with Yin chakra will essentially neutralize any Fuu even without knowing the correct corresponding key seal -- the Yin chakra overwrite will eat away the original Fuu's chakra and the Fuu will disintegrate.

The alternative and less extreme method is to use Yin chakra to transcribe in a specific set of sutra characters that will reprogram the Fuu to perform the exact opposite of what it was originally made for. This additional foot of sutras will be spliced in before the coding at the end of the sutra ring.

  • Can be used to cancel a foreign Fuu or to overwrite a foreign Fuu's properties to perform the exact inverse.
  • Fuu Destruction effect can be used as a reaction. The Fuu Master strikes the opponent's hand or Fuu medium in the nick of time. DC comparison applies vs the opposing Fuu, if this technique's DC is above the opponent's, the opposing seal does not activate.
  • Fuu Destruction can also be used normally on already existing seals.
  • Fuu Inversion option can only be applied when not in combat mode (i.e. guarded or covered for).
  • Fuu Inversion effect will literally reverse what a seal was created to do: for example, to cause certain seals that will constantly cause harm over time to instead heal over time. It can therefore only treat seals that have already been applied.

Requirements: Senju Instructor or someone who learned this technique, a Fuu master or access to prepared seals, Yin Factor Manipulation, Yin Factor Manipulation - Blank State, 35 Chakra, 38 Chakra Control, 40 Concentration, 44 Fuuinjutsu
Training: Stage One
For the first stage, the learner begins by using the Sutra Manifestation technique to manifest a physical form for a target Fuu. When Yin chakra slices into the ring and touches a character on the sutra ring, a thread that is a dense condensation of subcharacters will appear. Failures in this stage will cause these subthreads to disappear again from physical form and will require remanifestation.
DC: 45
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra
Successes: 0/10
Stage Two
The learner will begin to practice overwriting subthreads to each major character of the sutra ring. By cutting into the sutra ring with Yin chakra and attaching a trace of Yin chakra to each subcharacter thread, repeating this method for each major character of the sutra ring will allow a final flow of Yin chakra to connect all the dots marking each individual character. Once Yin energy infuses into all the composite characters making up the Fuu, the characters will begin to disintegrate, and the destruction of the sutra ring will coincide with the destruction of the Fuu.
DC: 52
Formula: 1d20 + Concentration
Successes: 0/20
Stage Three
The third stage will have the learner familiarize with the major categoria characters they will add to a sutra ring in order to program a reversed reading signal. The characters are: Om, Vajra, Dharma, Kiri, and Shawa respectively.
DC: 50
Formula: 1d20 + Concentration
Successes: 0/10
Stage Four
The fourth stage require a new Fuu seal for examination. Once again, the learner will repeat the first steps: manifest the sutra ring and the finer subparts to each major character. Similar to Stage 2, the learner will cut into the sutra ring, but this time, to program in the set of sutra characters that signal for a reverse reading of the Fuu's contents. Yin chakra finally seals the cuts made into the sutra ring. By applying a trace amount of standard chakra, the rewritten Fuu can be reactivated.

Inton Norowareta Fū: Kokoro no Taishoku (Yin Release Cursed Seal: Severance of Mind)
Inton Norowareta Fū: Kokoro no Taishoku (殷遁呪われた封 ・心の退職) is a Fuuinjutsu technique that is either applied by physical contact with the enemy or used in conjunction with a Genjutsu art. The necessary medium is essentially something that achieves a point of contact for the Yin chakra to embed as a cursed seal upon the enemy, thereby making even combined use with Wood Release techniques a favorite form as well.

When the cursed seal forms, a mental barrier divides the enemy mind's imagination and reason, and they will not be able to coordinate the brain signals necessary to activate a kekkai genkai or the preliminary chakra molding needed for chakra-requiring Jutsu. Because the seal is formed from Yin chakra, after a while it dissipates on its own.

Special:
  • This six-petalled lotus seal can either be applied externally or internally. External application is burned onto the skin by a successful Taijutsu or Mokōton strike.
  • If the enemy is wearing armor, applying this seal by a Genjutsu technique is more viable. The case will either require the enemy to fail a Will save accordingly.
  • In the case of burning a seal inside the body, it is on the spinal cord where the chakra from a Genjutsu enters to affect the enemy's brain.
  • The seal lasts for the user's [chakra control/10] rounds or 5 rounds, whichever number is greater.
  • When this seal is in effect, the opponent will not be able to activate kekkai genkai based techniques or use chakra-based techniques.
  • This seal does not stack. Renewal is a procedure repeatable after the first seal dissipates.

Tsuchi Seishitsu Taitoku (Earth Nature Mastery)
During the period of clan reestablishment, many of the newly-named Senju traveled around the world to meet with other descendants of the Sage, hoping to possibly learn and create a new basis for their lost lineage. The Senju have met both friendly and hostile groups during the course of these trials. Some of the Elemental Creation lines flatly refused to aid in the recompilation of knowledge for reasons of loyalty to their current village. Others whom valued wisdom were intrigued by a clan whose greatest desire was to become closer to the truth of the shinobi world. Those clans offered the Senju a trade: they will collect their fair price once Senju is properly reestablished and that their children will have as equal a claim to what rare arts their cousins may create. With the help of these families, Senju had surpassed primal elemental manipulation today in the two affinities most common to members born of their clan: control over the earth and mastery over the water.

Unlike their cousin lineages, the Senju have perfected active forms of primal nature manipulation and wields it in manners similarly to how the Elemental Creation lines of Shakuton and Futton recalibrate environmental settings to their favor. Essentially, Tsuchi Seishitsu Taitoku (土性質体得) is the mastery over Doton manipulation of mineral density by repacking the crystalline structure of the solid. With this method, they can create Doton with hardness that resemble diamonds, as well as to interfere with the effectiveness of enemy Doton techniques by introducing the disassembling effect of Yin chakra on enemy Yang factor energy, which is always found present in Ninjutsu.

  • Only this technique or Water Nature Mastery's effect may be active at a given time.
  • The user is capable of hardening Doton mud into rock in order to trap opponents. The opponent will require a roll of 1d20 + Escape Artist vs a check of 1d20 + Chakra Control
  • Allows the user to strengthen their Doton-based shields by 10% total shield Hp.
  • By touching the enemy Doton shield directly and transferring destabilizing Yin chakra to interfere with the structural form, this allows the user to cut enemy Doton-based shields' time-in-effect by half due to interfering with the structural packing of the shield. This also eliminates any shield Hp restorative effects certain Doton shields may have.
  • By surrounding their own body with a veil of Yin-based chakra, the user of this technique is capable of softening the blows of offensive enemy Doton by disturbing the crystalline structure of the incoming rock. Enemy Doton that is focused on launching solid projectiles of rock to damage are cut in half in terms of damage.

Requirements: Senju Instructor or someone who learned this technique, Yin Factor Manipulation, Earth Affinity, 36 Chakra, 40 Chakra Control, 38 Concentration, 40 Ninjutsu

Yang Release (Yōton)

Yōton: Kōdo Gijutsu Renkinjutsu (Yang Release: Inorganic Factor Transmogrification)
Also referred to as Advanced Art: Alchemy (高度技術 錬金術), Rekinjutsu refers to the principal of using the highly energizing Yang chakra to knock off or add a valence electron to an atom. By doing so, the chemical property of that atom will change, essentially transmuting it into another atom. This technique allows children of the Sage to shift inorganic substances, however due to the amount of energy required, an atom can only be transmuted into a similar atom (i.e. metals cannot be transmuted into gases and so on). This is why they cannot transmute Raiton electricity, which is purely electron flow, nor is transforming Fuuton gas bettering a situation. Katon fire is also not transmutable, being also pure energy.
Rank: A
Cp Cost: 75 + [Targeted opposing Jutsu's Cp]

  • Can be used as a reaction depending on the situation.
  • By turning enemy Doton constructs into pure gold, they severely hamper its defensive ability. Any ensuing strong Taijutsu or Ninjutsu-based blow will dismantle the shield.
  • This can also be used to cut an Escape Artist DC resulting from a Doton trapping by 18 + Chakra mod. + 2 per 5 Ninjutsu. By transforming solidified Doton rock into a weaker substance, escape by brute force is made easier.
  • By converting all the metals in their own Doton constructs into highly purified iron (aka steel), the user can strengthen shield Hp by 15%.
  • By recombining all of the hydrogen atoms into oxygens, an enemy Suiton technique of lower Rex DC will dissipate into oxygen gas and perform no damage. The battlefield will smell nice and sweet, thanks to the abundance of fresh oxygen.
  • Advanced elemental techniques cannot be affected (i.e. Hyouton, etc.)

Requirements: Senju Instructor or someone who learned this technique, Yang Factor Manipulation, 35 Chakra Control, 35 Concentration, 40 Ninjutsu
Training: Stage One
The learner will start with materials of mineral composition. They will focus on one of the composite atoms within the mixture, and use Yang chakra to shift around the electrons for the remaining atoms in order to make them of the same type. This stage is also called the "purification" technique, where one will make an item composed of purified metal and the target is usually to make a highly purified piece of iron.

Yōton: Yūki-teki Inshi Hen'i (Yang Release: Organic Factor Transmutation)
Yōton: Yūki-teki Inshi Hen'i (陽遁 ・有機的因子変移) is an advanced Esei treatment method and is known for being capable of what most Eseijutsu can't: restoration of limbs from the stem cellular basis of another part of the body. In essence, this makes this technique appear very similar to the Chikatsu Saisei no Jutsu (Healing Resuscitation Regeneration Technique) with one very important difference: hair, which is only made of proteins is useless for this technique, because there is no Fuu to convert the proteins back to the original genetic material. On the contrary, the advantage of this technique is because a full room Fuu does not need to be prepared.

The eseinin performing this technique will take a graft of skin cells and with one hand's Yang chakra remove the genetic information from the sample cells. The opposing hand will take samples of the atomic materials that make a cell and create pseudo cells, while the other hand will add in the genetic material. Transmutation is only completed when the Yang chakra shuts down certain portions of the genetic material to create the correct stem cells and subsequently incubate the target tissues. Cellular tissue is then induced to quickly spawn by the cradle of Yang chakra. Finally, the eseinin will splice in this tissue with the Chakura no Mesu (Chakra Scapel) technique piece by piece.

Mizu Seishitsu Taitoku (Water Nature Mastery)
During the period of clan reestablishment, many of the newly-named Senju traveled around the world to meet with other descendants of the Sage, hoping to possibly learn and create a new basis for their lost lineage.

In creating the Mizu Seishitsu Taitoku (水性質体得), the Senju found that by introducing a new source of energy to disturb the packing of molecular water, they could consequently shift the temperature of the water and bring it to the borderline of a state change. Granted, it was impossible to solidly pack the molecules without the aid of Hyouton, or to achieve pH changing capabilities without Futton, but at the least using chakra as energy increments for the molecules to move more quickly about was indeed feasible. In doing this in conjunction with their Suiton, they are able to create superheated water that disperse quickly after prolonged contact with enough cooling surface area (i.e. the atmosphere and the ground).

Requirements: Senju Instructor or someone who learned this technique, Yang Factor Manipulation, Water Affinity, 36 Chakra, 40 Chakra Control, 38 Concentration
Training: Stage One
The first stage involves shape manipulation. The student will train at a place with a water source to start out in order to minimize strain. They will focus on drawing the water out from the source with chakra, and forming that water into different shapes. Usually, the choice is a small orb of water floating between the hands.

For the second stage, the student will introduce an elemental affinity. This involves adding the Suiton affinity to the chakra holding the water together to pressurize the water in order to give force to its strikes. Usually, the target will be at a boulder or something equally sturdy.
DC: 52
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra Control
Successes: 0/5
Stage Three
The third stage involves adding Yang affinity chakra to the water creation, which is most effective in energizing the molecules of water. Even though the orb of water should be hovering in the student's hands, they will clearly be able to feel heat emanating from the orb.
DC: 48
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra
Successes: 0/30
Stage Four
The final stage involves aiming the superheated water at vegetation. The choice is usually vegetation that is relatively large and easy to see, so when the cellulose becomes thoroughly cooked, the subsequent wilting of the plant should be quite dramatically obvious. If done correctly, the water should boil away to gas after the point of impact.

Yin-Yang Release (Onmyōton)

Onmyōton: Jishin Ekō (Yin-Yang Release: Seismic Echo)
Onmyōton: Jishin Ekō (陰陽遁 ・地震エコー) is a Sensor technique developed by the Senju clan based on Yin and Yang factor response. By placing a finger to the ground, and sending out a pulse of Yang-affinity chakra outwards, the sensor can read both the distance and number of surrounding enemies by the responding chakra presence and subsequent chakra reaction.

Animals are read by animal chakra presence which partially absorbs Yang chakra, summons are read by natural chakra presence which stops Yang chakra presence in its tracks (petrifies), and humans are read by Yin and Yang factor energy which reacts with a slight shift in levels when contacted by an external source of Yang chakra. The sensor can also calibrate and determine the levels of antagonism by using Yin chakra as a vibration rod to gauge how violently the sensed target's chakra reacted to the Yang chakra pulse. The more violently the hostile target's chakra reacted, the more intense the reflecting ripples of the Yang chakra pulse will be.
Rank: A
Cp Cost: 80 + 15 per round maintained
Attack Turns: 3
Reflex DC: -
Damage: -
Special:
  • This technique can also be used if the user is barefoot.
  • This technique is most efficient in areas with a lot of organic substances because organic material carries Yang chakra further and also where life is rich, natural chakra is also atmosphere-rich.
  • In the desert, this technique's effectiveness is halved due to the lack of organic material to further the Yang chakra's radius of effect.
  • The enemy's exact positions are known to the user only the moment the technique is released.
  • Increases the user's Awareness by Chakra mod. + [2 per 5 Chakra Control] while this technique is active to track enemy movement.
  • Decreases enemy Bluff checks if they are disguised as an ally by Chakra mod. + [2 per 5 Chakra Control] while this technique is active when the hostile intent occurred.

Requirements: Senju Instructor or someone who learned this technique, Yin Factor Manipulation, Yang Factor Manipulation, 35 Chakra, 44 Chakra Control, 40 Concentration, 38 Ninjutsu
Training: Stage One
The first stage is relatively simple: the learner will surround themselves with an aura of Yin chakra. The presence of this shield is not visible to anyone but those with Doujutsu and only children of the Sage can sense its presence. This shield is very important, and will later act as a colossal echolocation rod for the actual Jutsu.
DC: 45
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra
Successes: 0/10
Stage Two
For the second stage, the learner will release the Yang chakra pulse, which will travel by the ground and use any organic substances it encounters along the way as a spring in order to further expand its radius of effect.
DC: 54
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra Control
Successes: 0/20
Stage Three
The learner will wait for the ripples in natural chakra to return and disturb the Yin chakra based shield. The instructor will explain what does the different levels of intensity translate to and mean.
DC: 53
Formula: 1d20 + Concentration
Successes: 0/20

Onmyōton Norowareta Fū: Meirei Seimei Danzetsu (Yin-Yang Release Cursed Seal: Order of Life Severance)
Onmyōton Norowareta Fū: Meirei Seimei Danzetsu (陰陽遁呪われた封・命令生命断絶) is a Fuuinjutsu technique building upon both the Chakra Absorption technique's theory and Fuu principles on sealing spiritual energy. This technique can also be called the exact inverse of the Infuin seal.

The Yin chakra is essentially used to press apart the opponent's natural chakra system defense against invasive procedure and while the cut still exists, to reach in, draw out, and seal as much of the life energy as possible. By forging a connecting chain to the victim with Yang chakra and then using Yin chakra as a reverse-projecting base, the enemy's life force can be forced to manifest and then subsequently sealed. This cursed seal will consequently cause the opponent to age, hence weakening them. If the seal is destroyed by a key-Fuu, the target reverts to their natural age.
Rank: A
Cp Cost: 100 to create each seal
Attack Turns: 5
Reflex DC: Used in conjunction with either a Taijutsu strike or a Mokouton technique.
Fuu Strength (per individual seal): 18 + Chakra mod. + 2 per 10 Fuuinjutsu
Damage: -
Special:
  • Can be used to carve parts to a 4-petalled lotus seal.
  • The first seal placed upon the opponent weakens their chakra force. They will receive -4 to their Chakra ability, and appears to have aged approximately 2~4 years.
  • The second seal placed upon the opponent weakens their physical strength. They will receive a -6 to their Strength ability, and appears to have aged approximately 4~6 years.
  • The third seal placed upon the opponent weakens their life-force. They will receive a -6 to their Constitution ability, and appears to have aged 6~8 years.
  • The fourth seal placed upon the opponent weakens their bones. They will receive a -8 to their Dexterity ability, and appears to have aged 8~10 years.

Requirements: Senju Instructor or someone who learned this technique, Yin Factor Manipulation, Yang Factor Manipulation, 30 Chakra, 40 Chakra Control, 45 Concentration, 40 Fuuinjutsu
Training: Stage One
The first step in composing any complex Fuu is to write the necessary sutras that the Fuu will be made of. This stage will require access to a local library with an extensive Fuu archive.
DC: 57
Formula: 1d20 + Concentration
Successes: 0/10
Stage Two
The second step is to write the sutras with Yin chakra. These chakra threads will encode the information necessary for the Fuu to operate in a certain manner. This step is merely transcribing the written work and is also fairly simple.
DC: 40
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra
Successes: 0/10
Stage Three
The third stage requires a living target. The learner will first incise into the opponent's chakra system with a wedge of Yin-based chakra.
DC: 52
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra Control
Successes: 0/10
Stage Four
The fourth stage begins with the learner forging a connecting chain to the victim with Yang chakra to stabilize the incision. The Yin chakra insertion will make the enemy's Yang factor visible for sealing.
DC: 54
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra Control
Successes: 0/10
Stage Five
By using the Yin chakra base of the seal as a holder to grasp onto the enemy's Yang factor, the enemy's life force can be pulled onto the surface of the skin and solidified as a seal.

Onmyōton: Katachi no Fukkyū (Yin-Yang Release: Restoration of Form)
Onmyōton: Katachi no Fukkyū (陰陽遁 ・ 形の復旧) is a meditative technique which first processes nature chakra alongside with Yang chakra and shaping the product with Yin chakra into a form usable for human bodies. This Fuuinjutsu technique places that chakra molded into a seal that converts that chakra to life energy and allows Restoration of Form to do the exact opposite of the Order of Life Severance Seal - to return youth and vitality. This is what the people of Konohagakure calls the Senju clan's "Reverse Henge".
Rank: A
Cp Cost: 100 creating per seal / [1% total Cp consumed per seal released]
Attack Turns: 5 (to create each seal) / 1 (to activate)
Reflex DC: -
Fuu Strength (per individual seal): 18 + Chakra mod. + 2 per 10 Fuuinjutsu
Damage: -
Special:
  • After creating the 4 petalled lotus seal, the effects is based on how seals are released. Each petal acts as an individual seal. The effects are:
    a) releasing the first petal restores the body's vitality by approximately 2~4 years, with the strengthening of their chakra force, the user will receive +4 to their Chakra ability.
    b) the second seal's release restores physical strength. The body is revitalized by approximately 4~6 years, and the user will receive +6 to their Strength ability.
    c) the third seal restores life-force: the user will receive +6 to their Constitution ability and appears to have gone back approximately 6~8 years in age.
    d) the fourth seal's release fortifies the body: the user will receive +8 to their Dexterity ability and appears revitalized by 8~10 years.
  • The user must mark in their profile accordingly how many years of vitality is restored by placing the appropriate number of seals upon themselves and their new physical age.
  • Effects from releasing a seal lasts for [Chakra Control/10] rounds.
  • With the conclusion of the effects, the user inversely ages the same number of years from their reversed physical age. If all of the seals are released, they will return to their true physical age.

Requirements: Senju Instructor or someone who learned this technique, Yin Factor Manipulation, Yang Factor Manipulation, Order of Life Severance, 38 Chakra, 45 Chakra Control, 44 Concentration, 40 Eseijutsu, 45 Fuuinjutsu
Training: Stage One
The first step in composing any complex Fuu is to write the necessary sutras that the Fuu will be made of. This stage will require access to a local library with an extensive Fuu archive.

DC: 48
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra
Successes: 0/10
Stage Three
For the third stage, the actual work on the Jutsu begins. The learner will first use a shell of Yang chakra around them to draw in and hold the nature's chakra. The center of reaction, the user, is where Yang chakra will first be balanced equally with natural chakra. Yin chakra will be slowly added into the equation and all three chakras will be equalized. This is the most balanced form of nature's chakra useable by humans - alternatively called the "Sage's Chakra".
DC: 58
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra Control
Successes: 0/20
Stage Four
The last stage is to use the Sage's chakra to revitalize the body in terms of Yin and Yang factor production: an action that is necessary for chakra molding. The Sage's chakra can also be sealed with the increased production of human chakra into seals for latter use. In the form of seals, the Sage's chakra further reenacts and breaks down as pure life energy which can be used to temporarily restore the noncoding ends of aged/worn-out cells.

Onmyōton Norowareta Fū: Jinsei Ketsugō Hana (Yin-Yang Release Cursed Seal: Life-binding Flower)
Onmyōton Norowareta Fū: Jinsei Ketsugō Hana (陰陽遁呪われた封・人生結合花) is a technique that draws upon the fundamental principles of both the Order of Life Severance Seal and the Form Restoration technique. It also uses the same principles Gouwan was developed on: converting chakra into power, only this cursed seal transforms life energy directly into regenerative ability and raw power. Though this technique is most favored by Mokōton bearers who can create the most stable, long-living life form possible, there are also Fuu masters who prefer alternatives by fusing the life of someone with another human being.

In essence, this seal is used on someone who is on the threshold of death while a corresponding "om" seal is carved on the life source. A completely black nine petalled lotus seal is carved on the back of the person's neck. As the life energy from the bound life source is used up, inky black tendrils extend from the lotus seal while a petal fades into only an outline. When nine links are formed, the seal chokes the bearer to death. Similarly, the life source's "om" seal extends black tendrils as the shared life energy is used up, and ends also by being choked to death.

While the seal remains on the resurrected person, he/she will exhibit advanced regeneration that normal people do not have due to their body's natural lingering Yang factor energy. As more of the petals to the seal are used up, the hourglass measures not only the remaining shared life energy but also an exponential equivalence in reduced healing ability.
Rank: A
Cp Cost: 300 * 2 (on the target and the life-source) / (1% Total Cp consumed per seal released)
Attack Turns: 6 (3 each to form half of the corresponding seals) / 1 (to activate)
Reflex DC: Can only be used in conjunction with a Taijutsu strike. Life-source giver must be a willing recipient.
Fuu Strength (per individual seal): 18 + Chakra mod. + 2 per 10 Fuuinjutsu
Damage: -
Special:
  • Used on someone who recently died (within 1 RP day frame of time). This seal cannot be used again on that target.
  • As long as that resurrected target does not use any of the seals, he/she will be able to heal 5% Hp/Cp per resting post.
  • The six-petalled lotus seal can be released piece by piece or stacked (post seal usage damages apply for each seal individually).
    a) releasing the first petal grants +5 Strength, +5 Dexterity, (Post using the seal: 4% Total Hp/CP healed per resting post)
    b) releasing the second petal grants +6 Strength, +6 Dexterity, (Post using the seal: 4% Total Hp/CP healed per resting post)
    c) releasing the third petal grants +6 Strength, +6 Dexterity, +6 Chakra, (Post using the seal: 3% Total Hp/CP healed per resting post)
    d) releasing the fourth petal grants +7 Strength, +7 Dexterity, +7 Chakra, (Post using the seal: 3% Total Hp/CP healed per resting post)
    e) releasing the fifth petal grants +7 Strength, +7 Dexterity, +7 Chakra, +5 Fort/Will Save, (Post using the seal: 2% Total Hp/CP healed per resting post)
    f) releasing the sixth petal grants +8 Strength, +8 Dexterity, +8 Chakra, +7 Fort/Will Save, (Post using the seal: Death)
  • Effects from releasing a seal lasts for [Chakra Control/10] rounds.
  • Once a seal is used up, they may not use that seal again.
  • After a seal's effect is over, a negative cost in Constitution ability is permanently deducted (corresponding to the total # from the effects so releasing the first seal will result in a permanent -10 to Constitution) on both the user and the life-source provider (if the life-source provider is a human).
  • If user cannot pay the Constitution debuff, death results.
  • Death for the seal bearer occurs also for the life-giver bearing the matching Om seal.
  • When the final seal is released, both the user and the life-source provider will die after the effects expire.

Requirements: Senju Instructor or someone who learned this technique, Yin Factor Manipulation, Yang Factor Manipulation, Order of Life Severance, Restoration of Form, 40 Chakra, 45 Chakra Control, 34 Concentration, 45 Fuuinjutsu
Training: Stage One
The first step in composing any complex Fuu is to write the necessary sutras that the Fuu will be made of. This stage will require access to a local library with an extensive Fuu archive. Two separate, but corresponding, seals are needed. They must also be programmed in such a way that the natural sensitivity of Yin chakra to Yang factor energy is intensified as a seal is activated.
DC: 46
Formula: 1d20 + Concentration
Successes: 0/20
Stage Two
The second step is to write the sutras with Yin chakra. These chakra threads will encode the information necessary for the Fuu to operate in a certain manner. This step is merely transcribing the written work and is also fairly simple.

Stage Three
The third stage begins by placing the first seal on a recently deceased animal. The corresponding seal is then placed on another target: either a flower, a tree, or any living organism. If the seals are established correctly, the link between the seals will allow the transfer of life energy. The animal will be resurrected by drawing on the life energy of the provider organism.

Onmyōton Yō Inshi Hakai (Yin-Yang Release: Yang Factor Destruction)
Onmyōton Yō Inshi Hakai (陰陽遁 ・陽因子破壊) is a Fuuinjutsu technique used to prevent enemy chakra-based techniques from harming the user by taking full advantages of Yin and Yang manipulation. A Yin-based seal first distorts the chakra holding the enemy's shape manipulation together by sealing up the Yin factor portion of enemy Jutsu, thereby destroying an incoming technique by demolishing its very form, while the Yang-based underlying portion of the shield further defends as a diffusive barrier by weakening any aftereffects, such as solid or semi-solid projectiles (i.e. resulting from most offensive Ninjutsu).

The shell of chakra prevents effectively penetration by enemy chakra. While this technique protects the user directly from harm, it does not protect any area effects done to the user's foothold and this is the primary weakness of the technique.
Rank: S
Cp Cost: 150 + [Enemy Technique's Cp Cost]
Attack Turns: 6
Reflex DC: -
Damage: -
Special:
  • Can be used as a reaction.
  • If the enemy's DC does not meet this technique's DC of 20 + Chakra mod. + 2 per 10 Chakra Control, their technique's damage/effects do not take place (enemy technique did not manage to hit before shield was placed up).
  • Any footing specials of the enemy technique may still apply.

Requirements: Senju Instructor or someone who learned this technique, Yin Factor Manipulation, Yang Factor Manipulation, 45 Chakra, 55 Chakra Control, 50 Concentration, 50 Fuuinjutsu

Mokōton Creation (Yin-Yang Release Variation)

Genso Kumikae Yōshiki: Mokōton Sōzō (Elemental Recombination Style: Wood Release Creation)
For a Senju who qualifies for Genso Kumikae Yōshiki: Mokōton Sōzō (元素組み換え様式 ・木遁創造), this is probably the simplest though the last taught of the conditioning arts. Wood Release Creation is special compared to other "sixth element" arts because it also applies Yang Factor Manipulation theory. The seeds formed by the recombined "sixth element" chakra is triggered to grow at a rapid pace when exposed to Yang-affinity chakra.
Rank: -
Cp Cost: 75% of total Cp consumed by the end of training.
Attack Turns: -
Reflex DC: -
Damage: -
Special:
  • Qualifies the student to learn Mokōton Creation techniques.
  • Senju bloodline's inherited propensity -- the defining characteristics of strong life force and chakra energy -- is unlocked. Total Cp reserves increments to x1.2.

Requirements: Yang Factor Manipulation, Mokōton Creation Genetic Trait, Chakra Control 20, Concentration 25
Training: Stage One
The first part involves separate elemental molding. This stage requires a lot of chakra control because the left side of the body would mold earth-affinity chakra while the right side of the body would mold water-affinity chakra. Elemental recombination happens at the central tenketsu nodes of the body as the Senju focuses on bringing the chakra from the two sides of the body together.
DC: 30
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra Control
Successes: 0/10
Stage Two
The second part is actually producing the wood element, which would take the form of tiny seeds. For this part, the student practices forming seeds with wood-affinity chakra. Exposure to a trace amount of Yang-affinity chakra will trigger the growth of seedlings.
DC: 35
Formula: 1d20 + Concentration
Successes: 0/10

Wood Release: Arming Style
Once a Senju has learned Elemental Recombination, he or she may produce and shape wood as they please. The fundamentals of Mokōton manipulation involve producing anything from roots to wooden tendrils and even includes more artistic forms such as forming wooden weapons or a whole house from the ground. Alternatively, a Mokōton user may even manipulate part of their own body, transforming the cells of just that specific part into wood, usually applied as a surprising blocking method.
Rank: C
Cp Cost: 15 (small object - i.e. roots)/25 (transforming a part of the body)/40 (medium object - most weapons)/60 (large object)/100 (colossal - a house)
Attack Turns: 3
Reflex DC (if roots are used to attack): 12 + Chakra mod. + 2 per 5 Ninjutsu
Damage (attacking/grappling): 5 - 15 + Chakra mod.
Special:
  • Can be used as a reaction. When used as a reaction, the Senju transforms a part of their body (usually one hand) to envelop and restrain the opponent. The user will pit 1d20 + Attack Ranged (substitute Dex mod. and Weapon Skill with Chakra mod. and Ninjutsu skill) vs the opponent's attack DC to see if restraint was successfully placed before the opponent's attack struck. Grappling check then applies as follows.
  • Grappling maneuvers maintained with a transformed hand or roots will use Chakra mod. to the Grappling skill instead of the standard ability modifier. Grappling checks then apply as norm.
  • When this technique is not used as a reaction, the Senju can form one root per 5 points of Chakra Control (number of weapons that can be made is also the same).
  • Each root can be manipulated to use the Rex equation as individual initial Grappling checks or Blocking checks against the incoming enemy/incoming enemy attacks.
  • Each root can also be manipulated to work like a human arm and hold onto a weapon each. The Rex DC of this technique applies separately for each root's attack, but if the attack hits, weapon damage is done instead of standard damage from the roots themselves (Chakra mod. replaces Strength/Dexterity mod. and Ninjutsu skill is used instead of the weapon skill during damage calculation). Such attacks also do not have the Mokōton piercing effect.
  • Piercing - All attacks directly inflicted by Mokōton Creation are considered piercing type strikes. A successful strike will inflict -1 Hp Bleeding damage on the opponent per round (damage stacks depending on the number of successful hits). Piercing type wounds do not stop bleeding until Eseijutsu treatment.
  • Seal Carving - All techniques of the Mokōton Creation are capable of being used in conjunction with a Fuuin. Only the amount of dice rolls required to use the Mokōton Creation technique is necessary.
  • Structural Base - All techniques of Mokōton Creation can act as a structural base for the next technique of the same school. By providing a structural base with an existing Mokōton technique, the next Mokōton technique will receive -1 Attack Turn(s) cost. If the opponent had already destroyed the existing area of effect Mokōton Creation technique with an area of effect technique of their own, this effect will not apply.
  • Simulation of Form - This technique can be used to create weapons or whole houses. Bladed weapons have their base damage equation quartered, while weapons that are made of wood remains normal. Bladed weapons are not launched without a technique like Soshuha. If enough wood is formed, a whole house can also be made.
  • Simulation of Poison - This technique can use Yang chakra to recall the genetic information of a certain species of plant poison. The Senju is to keep a list of all the types of plants they have came across and inspected before.

Reproducible Poisons:
  • Plant 1
  • Plant 2, etc.

Requirements: Elemental Recombination (Mokōton Creation), 18 Chakra, 15 Chakra Control, 20 Concentration
Training: Stage One
In the first part of this stage, the Senju learns to shape wood into basic roots and boards. The second part of the training involves learning to transform the user's own cells into wood, the focus being changing one of their hands.
DC: 25
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra Control
Successes: 0/10
Stage Two
The learner practices making wooden objects such as weapons and eventually increases their creations' sizes.
DC: 30
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra
Successes: 0/10
Stage Three
The learner simulates a plant they have observed before.
DC: 33
Formula: 1d20 + Concentration
Successes: 0/10

Moku Bunshin no Jutsu (Wood Clone Creation)
Moku Bunshin no Jutsu (木分身の術) creates a clone by altering the user's own cells with chakra. It has more endurance than the normal shadow clones and doesn't disappear when hit by the enemies' attacks. Moreover, since it has the ability to merge with plants and trees, it is also great for reconnaissance missions. Unlike the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, the clone made of this technique doesn't disappear when it is hit and even appears to take the damage the same way the original body would take it, making it far more useful for deception.
Rank: C
Cp Cost: 40 per clone
Attack Turns: 3
Reflex DC: -
Damage: -
Special:
  • A clone’s Hp is calculated off of this formula: ( 50 + 2 per 5 Chakra Control + 2 per 5 Ninjutsu Skill ).
  • Stats and skills are 1/2 of the user's.
  • They have the ability to travel far from the user and are able to communicate with the original.
  • By directly touching the wood clone with his hand, the user can absorb the information it gathered and change the shape of the clone (this clone can also be used as a structural base for latter Mokōton Creation techniques). Reforming it into a clone again however will cost the Cp price once more.
  • When merged with woodlands, the clone adds their [Chakra Control Skill/2] to their Stealth check.
  • Can create one clone per 5 ranks in Chakra Control. The user numbers each of their clones individually. The attacker does a random number check to see what they hit if they are unable to see through the clones.
  • To See Through Clones: 1d20 + user's Chakra Control skill vs 1d20 + opponent's Intelligence mod. + opponent's Awareness skill

Mokōton: Mokujōheki (Wood Release: Wood-locking Wall)
Mokōton: Mokujōheki (木遁 ・木錠壁 ) is an extremely versatile move. This technique uses chakra to activate the roots in the ground and, using the user of the technique as a reference point, wooden pillars appear from left and right. The wooden pillars join together in a dome shape with the user at the center. The wood-locking wall displays incredible durability but that is not its most defining characteristic: instead the wooden dome's natural impact absorption and flexibility characteristics (that makes it capable of bouncing large, chakra-dense techniques off) gives this the status of an excellent shielding technique.

This technique can also be used to catch the enemy in a double sided attack. In case the Senju confronts the enemy at a short distance, the enemy can be locked up inside the dome, setting the situation for a one-on-one fight. This dome can also be collapsed to inflict damage.
Rank: C
Cp Cost: 60 to form the barrier (15 to cave-in)
Attack Turns: 3
Reflex DC (to avoid getting caught by the walls): 12 + Chakra mod. + 2 per 5 Ninjutsu
Escape Artist DC (if caught by the walls): 12 + Chakra mod. + 2 per 10 Ninjutsu
Damage (if enemy is caught by the walls): 5 - 15 + Chakra mod.
Damage (cave-in): 15 - 25 + Chakra mod.
Special:
  • Can be used as a reaction.
  • Completely blocks damage for one round.
  • Dome is destroyed afterwards in the case of blocking Ninjutsu.

Mokōton: Sakura no Satsujin (Wood Release: Cherry Blossom Murder)
Mokōton: Sakura no Satsujin (木遁 ・桜の殺人) is a technique that is inspired by principles of the Chakra Absorption Technique. This combination is also alternatively called the kuruizaki no hana (狂い咲きの花) or demonic flowers that bloom out of season technique, because it is based upon both the life cycle of the strangler tree and the myth that the petals of sakura trees color because a corpse is buried beneath the roots. It is also a difficult combination to pull off because it requires two incidences of contact -- for the Senju to have achieved physical contact twice.

To begin, this technique requires a Senju to cut the opponent and inject a trace amount of Wood-affinity chakra into the wound. By leeching off the Yang factor energy in the enemy's body as an energizing life-source, this causes the Wood-affinity chakra to take the form of seeds. As the battle continues, the seeds formed by destabilized Yin-Yang balance slowly drain the opponent's chakra in an attempt to hold on to its form. The signal would be when the Senju contacts the opponent again, this time to add a trace amount of Yin-affinity chakra.

The effect of this technique is violently achieved early if the opponent attempts a chakra draining technique upon the Senju after having been infected. When the roots erupt from the seeded's wounds, the sakura tree, stabilized in existence now by Yin Factor chakra that was either drained in by the enemy from the Senju or injected by the Senju, is able to take nourishment from an organic source: in this case, the human blood of the enemy it is rooted in.

As the tree rapidly grows, the branching tendrils not only serve to inhibit the enemy's movement but also eventually fully strangulates. The sakura flowers that grow on the branches which serves as a sort of warning countdown clock: buds and then gradual flowering. When the opponent falls to 0 Hp, the flowers fully bloom.

Mokōton: Kajukai Kōrin (Wood Release: Advent of World Flowering Trees)
Mokōton: Kajukai Kōrin (木遁 ・花樹界降臨) takes advantage of the innate properties of Wood Release -- to be able to force trees to grow on any surface in an instant-- to create a dense forest of flowering trees. The pollen produced by these flowers is then released into the atmosphere and when inhaled, renders any afflicted target unconscious. With enough willpower, it is possible to regain consciousness. However, in order to counter the technique fully, either the trees themselves must be destroyed completely or the target remains elevated above the dispersed pollen. This is also not a technique that discriminates between allies and enemies.
Rank: A
Cp Cost: 250 (to create the forest) + 35 per round of active manipulation (using the roots to snare, etc.)
Attack Turns: 6 (to create the forest) / 2 (later manipulation)
Will DC: 1d20 + Chakra Control vs 1d20 + Will Save
Reflex DC (using the tree roots to grapple/attack): 18 + Chakra mod. + 2 per 5 Ninjutsu
Escape Artist DC (using the tree roots to grapple): 18 + Chakra mod. + 2 per 10 Ninjutsu
Damage (if used to pierce during the first round only): 90 - 140 + Chakra mod.
Damage (grappling/attacking after the first round): 15 - 25 + Chakra mod.
Special:
  • When unconscious, the first attack made is guaranteed to hit the opponent. However, the opponent wakes up due to the pain.
  • Forced sleep checks reapply every new round.

Mokōton Norowareta Fū: Niwa no Oni Kenjin (Wood Release Cursed Seal: Garden of the Demon Sage)
Mokōton Norowareta Fū: Niwa no Oni Kenjin (木遁呪われた封・庭の鬼賢人) is a sacrificial kinjutsu that forms a splendid garden of flowering peach trees. By feeding fresh corpses of enemies to the trees, the flowers will quickly blossom and fade away before fruit will form and ripen on the branches by devouring the lingering Yang factor energy in the body as a fertilizing source. The peach with its ability to trap Yin factor energy substitutes essentially as a new body for the memories. Each peach is thus carved with the memories of a person who was fed to the tree. With this, Konoha no longer finds it of priority to capture targets alive, because information that is desired can be obtained with such a method.
Rank: S
Cp Cost: 500 (to create the garden)
Attack Turns: 6
Will DC (for the consumer): 20 + deceased target's Chakra mod. + 1 per 10 deceased's Chakra Control
Damage: -
Special:
  • Trees can only eat corpses who does not have the natural chakra system defending their body from invasive chakra structures anymore.
  • Only major events of the most importance (events that make the deepest impressions on the soul can be discovered with this method, i.e. priority orders, etc).
  • Enemy Jutsu may potentially be recreated if the technique is of sentimental value to the target (Jutsu qualifications still apply).
  • Failing the Will DC (for the eater of the peach) results in insanity (0 MHp). Treatment follows standard Genjutsu treatment that results from an S-ranked Genjutsu.

Requirements: Yin Factor Manipulation, Elemental Recombination (Mokōton Creation), 50 Chakra, 55 Chakra Control, 56 Fuuinjutsu
Training: Stage One
Creates a garden of peach trees with wood chakra.

Stage Two
Yang manipulation is used to alter and amplify a peach tree's ability to feed on organic substances. Yin manipulation performed on just the tree roots alter the trees to be capable of picking up on lingering traces of Yin factor energy in corpses and to draw it up into the plant tissue.
DC: 62
Formula: 1d20 + Chakra
Successes: 0/30
Stage Three
The user's own Yin chakra within the tree roots will read and translate the information retained by the Yin factor energy and the Yang chakra core of the trees will work to produce a new flesh case for the Yin factor energy in the form of a peach.
DC: 69
Formula: 1d20 + Fuuinjutsu
Successes: 0/30
