Solia was not really a huge morning person. When Lex had moved and the source of 'warm' had left, she looked up a bit, blinked, came to the conclusion she had a really nice dream, and she didn't hear the alarm so it was okay to go back to bed. She didn't notice how it was not her room, or how she was sleeping naked, just that 'wow this bed is nice I'm going to sleep a bit.'

A simple mindset.

Lex's return got her semi coherent look, as realization slowly dawned on her. A slow look on the nightstand the rose ring was the first thing she put on, the mental image of puffed feathers filling her head. Was she okay? Did he hurt her? Did she use the protection charms? Was she safe from pumpkins? Israfel's concern was washed away under a wave of contentment as Solia slowly sat up, lazily looking at the pancakes she'd almost missed. "Morning handsome." She wasn't sure why tack on the handsome part. It just seemed the right reply. Still half asleep, she looked at the pancakes.

"You actually made them."

Now there was something she had to do. Get dressed.
Why do people place such a need on covering their own bodies?
Because it's polite
But WHY is it polite?
Because while we like to look at bits and things and they are distracting. Just imagine being distracted all the time. It would be terrible.
Humans are strange to be so easily distracted
We totes are.

"Mmkay just-" She yawned, scooting herself off the bed. "Beds are too comfy for my own good." Pajamas put back on with a bleary thank you, she sat back right down on the bed. And then fell over to her side. "Way too comfy Lex." She still reached over, taking a fork and knife. "How are you even so awake?"

Solia liked to sleep in after 'nice' nights. She liked to sleep in in general really. Sleeping with Lex just gave her an excuse. "His majesty getting fussy?" She tapped her ring. "Isra just worried and wanted to make sure I was alright. He's sweet, even if there really isn't a whole lot to worry about? He kept going on about ninja pumpkins last night but I've not really figured that out yet." She put her hands in the air. She was clueless as the siren was just telling her he'd explain later.

"You said coffee." A smile, she reached for that first, curling up a bit as she took a deep breath, savoring the aroma before taking a sip. "Yes, hero is an accurate title. Any man that can get coffee is a smart one. Not sure about me being gorgeous though. Used to more 'cute' or 'pretty'." A flicker in the back of her head of other things, she shoved them away. Not the time.

"Okay. Waking up a bit." She made a motion to the pancakes. "Please share?"

A snort followed by laughter. Pancakes set on her lap. "No, no, he's more... It's odd. He's not a brother. I mean, I don't know what it's like to have a sibling. A protector yes but, Israfel's not that that. He worries about me. Like a friend but he knows everything about me? It's just weird. Not sure what his royal Highness is like aside from a grumpy guss, but, Israfel is nothing but supportive. Even though he's worried, he'd not questioning me or my choice or actions? There is no judgement or anything and... it's just really refreshing."

Why would I judge you? You didn't do anything wrong.
No, no she hadn't.
It's okay Solia, if he upsets you, you can just be mean and make up stories.... wait no that is too mean.

Another small chuckle, she looked at Lex again, pausing before looking around. "Um, napkin? I don't want to get your sheets sticky. But yeah." Another sip of coffee. "Think I'm good for words and stuff now. Coffee is helping. "

She actually blushed at his laugh. "It's still polite. No point in making a mess worse or just being gross for the sake of being gross." She didn't think about thinks actively like that Lex, god. "Regal... I kind of wish we could all hear them, but then I guess the bond wouldn't be what it is. I'm sorry you two don't get along that great, but if Isra could talk to everyone... It would lose something. Make the bond just like having a cell phone on your shoulder where everyone can hear. Not the same." Setting the coffee down, she pushed a finger to Lex's forehead. "And you should be nice to Lex Regal, you picked him because you wanted him after all." She smiled, pulling back.

"Israfel said I had a choice and... really I think by the time he asked he'd already chosen. If he gets grumpy just remind him that he chose you after all, and in being in that head means he saw something he liked, something 'worthy of his noble plumage'." She giggled. "Oh I'm bad. There is a c**k joke somewhere to be made but no, I'm good."

Her maturity was seeming to return to what it had been before.

Taking a bite of the pancakes she paused, a content sigh escaping her. "One, these are ******** delish. Two, I was getting ready for school. I took a few college courses to knock them out of the way in school, and then I managed to get into Princeton. Debated other 'fancy schools'. Didn't matter much in the end." She gave a shrug as if these were perfectly normal things. "I obviously didn't go and further my education. Hindsight, I probably should have to have become more useful here." She went back to her pancakes.

Like everything with what she just said was very much normal.

She looked up at him, finishing the mouthful of pancakes. A slow intake of breath. "....."

Solia?

"...................."

Solia, um... is everything okay?

The indeed 18 year old stared at Lex, brown eyes unfazed. "Did you... think I was older?" Wait, why did it matter? She was legal. But- "Back up. So how old are you?"

"Oh." Well that explained it then. "It's not....that bad? I mean, not everyday a girl like me can say a guy like you banged her and then made her pancakes." She took a bite of said pancakes. "Granted... the usual age cap people set is four years, but it's not 10 with us, it's not a whole generation really, and you're not my superior which to me would be a much larger issue than age. We didn't know and we both enjoyed it. I never mentioned my age, thinking you around 22, you didn't mention it and thought I was older. Just a minor lack of communication really."

Still, a small frown crossed her face.

"From my end Lex... I really don't make a point to regret doing things I liked doing at the time. It happened. If it happens again really is up to us and if we feel okay with it." A sip of her coffee. "I am sorry though. We should have probably not..." A hand waved in the air. "Past is the past. The more you know right?"
