;; Eleanor's magic affinity is one that spurred her fascination with herbs and plants. She's able to identify poisons and their properties. Still trying to fine tune this ability, at current she must make the antidote herself but with her keen mind and years spent researching plant-life, it's something that can be easy for the simpler poisons. More difficult poisons, however, would take time and research that may or may not be completed in time to save the patient.
;; As she develops further, is it possible for her to be able to cure the poison then and there, so long as she knows what the antidote is? I'm not sure if that would be over-powered or not.. Just lemme know? o:

Name: Epione (Greek Goddess of soothing pain.)
Magic Affinity: Life?
Epione would have the ability to sooth pain. At first, it would be I guess the same as a pain killer; not enough to feel nothing but enough that the patient would be able to move to safety with a higher level of ease.

Eventually, as she grows, she'll be able to put the person to sleep completely. Or put them in a high state of Euphoria. (Think morphine/anesthesia)

I'm not entirely sure how this could actually be implemented. A song (bird song, that is). A touch of her wing?

QUESTIONS ;;

+ Clothing; Is floral patterns/lace something that would be considered canon in this time period? If so, are they considered luxury materials or are they common-place? What about silk?

+ Bird Intelligence I'd like for her to come from a family of bird breeders/trainers. I've been doing research and birds in the Corvidae family are considered the most intelligent birds. They can be taught simple tasks and I thought it would be interesting if these birds were sold as.. helpers of sorts? I.E. they could be trained/tuned with a medic to be able to collect materials necessary. Kind of like a nurse. But small and fast. ((This is where I got the idea for Eleanor to have Blue Jay as her animal o vo )) Is this something that is even.. plausible? If so, I might have Eleanor partake in it, but mostly just for medics since that's all she's worked with/knows how to train.

+ Social Classes Is there a definite social class tier? What are these tiers and how are they defined? Are people in different classes treated differently?

+ Communication Is there any communication between Guardians and Users? If so, can Guardians speak audibly so everyone can hear? Or is it done over the Aerther.. telepathically, I guess, until they reach higher stages.

So I'm just making a list of.. questions/things I'm not sure of. If a staffer could answer for me, that'd be great, since some of them are important to the character I'm thinking of. c:

While not a crit, I'll go ahead and answer those questions you got.
I can't technically crit outside of a staff crit, as to attempt to be mostly impartial, but questions, questions I can do.

Floral patterns are normal and aren't luxury goods. Patterns and bright colors are actually pretty common in the Dry Docks given the diversity of refugees, so the island has gotten pretty colorful. Silk is rare though. Lace isn't really used unless it's for a formal occasion given how delicate it is.

Lolo Birds, which are basically songbirds made of precious gems, would be smart enough for this. Normal birds, while smart, I can't see them naturally being able to do more than work as a clever homing pigeon. Lolo birds on the other hand are actually very clever little animals and could handle tasks like that. As a bonus they're one of the minis.

There isn't a terrible disparity between social classes in Mistwick or the surrounding settlements considering the population is small in comparison to a full-sized country. Aside from the leaders, both by faction and community (head priests, headmasters of the Academy, guard captains, etc.), there's the rich merchant class. While their trade-routes are sort of gone now they still have their little corners of whatever market. You have a middle class of everyone, and a slightly lower class of refugees, but it's not hard to get to middle class. Generally there isn't a lot of classism given how the people are attempting to pick themselves up again together. It's not unheard of though, there are some people who do dislike the refugees and consider them lower, but they are the minority.

Guardians speak audibly enough for anyone to hear. Even those without mouths seem to have a voice, though machines tend to have a slight echo.
