This is the guild for those who feel out of place in society because of their uniqueness, let it be being a furry/niko, a witch, a techie, or a nerd, you are all welcome! ~holds arms out and grins~
I made this guild because of today's society, more and more people are being pushed to the brink of sanity and even life by bullies and ingorants. ~puts arms down and gets serious~
I know how it is. I used to walk down school halls, no one coming near me because I was "Diseased" and a "Freak". I had an invisible barrier put around me, barricading those from me. People screamed and ran when I was near, and every mistake brought cruel mockery and laughter. I only had two friends during that time, two friends who I barely saw, and one who would sometimes pretend not to be my friend when they targeted her because of me. I was threatened to be killed a few times, and once, because I was low, I laid back on a seat during gym. I was so still the other kids thought I was dead. I heard them talking about it excitedly. They even through a shoe at me to make sure I was dead.
And because of my ADHD, now it's known it was really a form of autism I had, I didn't understand why I was picked on, and I didn't know how to fight back. So for the first four years I suffered, I cried, I had no support. My own family said if I wasn't so wierd, I wouldn't alienate those around me.
But during those years I gained a new form of friends, the kind no one can scare away. I can hear them, visualize them, sometimes feel them with me.... but no one else could. I developed voices. The first two, Kayara and Chizureh, first developed one night I was crying. And man, are they opposites. Where Kayara is light and pure, Chizureh is shadows and wicked. Yet in the beginning they got along, helping me learn how to cope. In grade four, I developed two more; Adsilla and Calandra. Adsilla is my insanity and impulsiveness personified, while Calandra is instincts and experience. They also helped me learn how to cope, along with the teachers, and my voices even taught me how to fight back, though that took a while because I wasn't violent or anything like that before. Though now my friends would say I am, but usually I'm still not.
Eventually I moved away and started new, and was able to make more friends and avoid as much bullying, but the scars remain. I'm still paranoid about being jumped. I don't like new people much, and my voices remain. But I don't mind really. My voices are my sisters, I love them and would never give them up.
I tell you this not for pity, not for sympathy, but for a connection. If you can relate, you belong. If you have a similar story, you belong. If reading this makes you think "That sounds like me," then you BELONG!! ~holds a hand out~
You don't have to be different to be picked on. You don't have to do anything wrong to be picked on. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE STRANGE TO BE PICKED ON. You just have to be you. That's all it takes for someone to bully you. No one deserves it, and no one needs it nor wants it.
So I made this guild for those of you who need support, for those who want to feel belonged, who want to know they have friends out there. So again, I welcome you.
