Arashi: Exhausted, the female cheetah dragged her paws across the dirt, her eyes fighting to keep themselves open. She had tried once again to attempt hunting at night rather than in the day, but she found herself still feeling the claws in her stomach and her legs pulsing at their cores from all of her attempts to land a meal. This was only the third day without eating, but she was starting to feel much more tired than she would be after eating a proper meal. But for now it was morning, the sun already bright in the sky before her, and the large, flat rock in front of her just looked much too inviting. So the next thing she knew, she found herself sprawled out upon it on her stomach, her eyelids still fighting against sleep.
Sulieabhan: Tired was something he wasn't. He was well fed and full of energy from napping most of the day in the shade with a leopard, maned wolf and a serval. What he called family, or something like it. The cheetah didn't honestly have a strong sense of family. His own sister wanted him dead on more than one occasion and would eventually come back to try to kill him. So the idea of family was a strange one to him, and yet... He managed to find that when Gottschalk, Morgwyn, and himself first met. And again when Gottschalk dragged the maned wolf, Yuuma, to him. He'd adopted the, then, pup as one of his own sons and that completed the family. Group. Whatever.
Either way, he was leaving them for the night to get out on his own and to try to find a bit of female company. It wasn't a long trip before he found a female sprawled out in the grass like she was going to be dead to the world in a few seconds.
Knowing better than to just walk up to a sleeping female, he called out to her from where he was. "Do you need company?"

Arashi: It felt like several long moments before the buzz of another voice plunged itself into her sensitive ears. Of course, when something important to her body like a hunt or sleep needed to be done, something just had to effect it. But she knew she wasn't the kind of creature to be rude at all, so what could she say back? "I don't need company of any sort, no, but you may give it to me if you want. I don't know what kind of company I would be, though," she replied back to the voice, so tired she didn't even bother to look in its direction.
Sulieabhan: He had tried to keep his voice down, but it seemed he startled her anyway. Sighing, he watched her at this distance and tilted his head as she spoke. She sounded exhausted. Tail flicking this way and that, he crept closer when she said he could give her company. "I'm Sulieabhan," he said after a moment, grinning a little more and sat down next to her. She did say he could keep her company, so that's what he was planning on doing. "Might I say, despite how tired you obviously are, you look so very lovely. Is your name as beautiful as you?" Yes, he was already putting the moves on this female cheetah. It'd been a little bit since he'd spent time with another cheetah. It would certainly be a welcome change of pace.

Arashi: When she heard the paws of the owner of the voice approach her much closer than she expected it to, her every instinct to protect herself and make sure she was safe gave her a burst of energy, giving her the strength to keep her eyelids fully open and her head to turn in the voice's direction. It was bittersweet for her to see that it was another cheetah like her, but she didn't realize that he had come close enough to sit right next to her. She collected her legs back together properly to go into the "normal" laying down position, shuffling herself around a bit to face the male properly. It was only polite, and that way she was in slightly more control of the situation if anything were to happen. The male was being sweet enough, but the way he said his words made them come off as a direct flirt. She should have expected such a thing from someone who asked for her company when she was so obviously not in the general mood to. But still, he was being nice and wasn't causing her any harm. At the moment. "That's a unique name, but is there any shorter version that I may remember you by? I am much too tired to remember such a long name." She hoped he wouldn't think her rude for asking that, but a nickname would truly be much more memorable. She blinked at him and flicked her ear a number of times while replaying his flirtatious words in her mind, but she didn't see anything wrong with telling him her name. "My name is Arashi." There was no need to flirt back with him or say something that he may perceive as a flirt, and maybe if she bored him just as she seemed to bore other people she could get herself some sleep.
Sulieabhan: "Sulie, is the shortened version," he said, answering her question. She'd been amusing to watch shuffle about like that. Never before had he seen anyone so tired that they just flopped out like that. Even the leopard he traveled with never got like that. Gottschalk hardly slept, it seemed, on top of all of this. It had been quite the site and he found himself intrigued about why she was in the condition she was. Not that he'd do anything about it, mind you, he just wanted to know. Curiosity went paw in paw with this cheetah.
"Arashi. That is a beautiful name," he chimed happily, a smile appearing on his face. He dipped his head to look into her eyes as he spoke again. "Tell me, Arashi, how you managed to get yourself in such a condition that you've managed to nearly fall asleep out in the open? Had I been anything other than a gentleman, someone could have come up and taken advantage of your situation and done something terrible to you. Could have scared your pretty body right up." His tone was flirty, but serious as well. It was such a pity to see females with a ton of scars. One or two was intriguing, but any more than a pawful and he tended to become wary.

Arashi: "Thank you," she said a bit curtly, the exhaustion getting the best of her attitude. She usually wasn't so rude in her words, just more monotone than anything else. She hoped her eyes reflected her concern of being rude to him, even if she was annoyed from her urge to sleep. She flicked the tip of her tail a few times in slight anxiety, still slightly unsure about how to handle such a situation when she really wished to sleep, yet she didn't want to chase anyone away that wasn't attacking or harming her in anyway. When he asked her such a personal question, she already knew that she was going to answer it, for she valued honesty very dearly and simply didn't see any point to avoiding the truth, no matter what the truth entailed. But the seriousness of the following fact he stated caused her to pull her ears back for a few moments, almost taking his honest fact as a threat. But she still knew that if he wished to threaten her, he would have done it by now; besides, it was a true fact about life. "I haven't had anything to eat in about three days, and I've been hunting since yesterday afternoon and have been up all night. I ran who even knows how many miles chasing prey all night, and my legs are exhausted now." Sulieabhan: He listened to her curt reply, but thought nothing of it. He often got curt replies from female he was flirting with at first, so he was completely used to it. He would just keep talking to get her warmed up to him. Or let her sleep. He hadn't quite decided which one to do yet. Probably let her sleep. He hated when he wasn't able to sleep, like when Morgy and Yuuma were playing all night and driving him up the wall.
"Ah, well.. There's a cave not to far from here. Just head north and then east and you'll see it. It's empty, dug into a cliff face. As for food, well.. I happen to know of a herd of zebra not to far from here. I've picked from their herd about a day ago when I was south from here and followed them this direction. There's a limping male you could pick off once you slept," he said, grinning widely. "Of course, I could stick around for the night, make sure you got... ah, sleep and spend some quality time with you before you were off to hunt." Yes, that was a direct flirt. He was also asking permission to spend the night with her, not that he'd stay the whole night. He'd get what he wanted, if she was willing, and then leave. But he wasn't spinning a tale about the zebra. Sulie had been following that herd for a ways now.

Arashi: "You must know these lands very well to know such facts," Arashi noticed, dipping her head briefly with gratitude. She was a rouge, herself, but had traveled so much from place to place that she never really got the chance to learn about any one given location. Maybe his arrival wasn't so horrible, after all. Especially if he was able to give her such helpful advice! "For the night?" she said in response to him, with her usual flat monotone voice. "It's barely even the morning. Besides, I'm usually not the best company; I tend to send others away with my "boringness"." Sulieabhan: And he was shot down. Nodding a little, he sighed and watched her again. Well, she probably wanted to sleep. So Sulieabhan picked himself up and grinned. "Very well. Don't forget what I said about the herd, hm? Or the cave. I'll let you go get your beauty rest. It certainly won't make you any more beautiful than you are, but perhaps lift your mood." He might check up on this one. Maybe she'd be more willing to spend the night with him after she got sleep, herself. It was his first time meeting with a female who'd stayed up like the leopard did. Gottschalk was used to it, and clearly, she wasn't.
"Until we meet again," he said, giving her a wink. He would saunter off to let her sleep, tail flicking as he did.
