I'm rather fond of a particular korean dish. rice, beef, a raw egg, various vegetables served in a hot bowl with hot bean paste. it's fantastic. you mix the egg and vegetables together with the rice and bean paste to cook the egg and get the dish to the right level of spicy. I can't remember what it's called, but wellwisher is quite good at making it. I'm not particularly good at cooking, i can follow a recipe, but i don't have that flair for making things up as i go, or playing things by taste. We msotly eat pasta, rice, vegetables, and chicken. then there's money. food's expensive.
Never was a fan of green chile, but that does sound good.

Tree_Spirit 5 Never was a fan of green chile, but that does sound good. That's probably because the green chiles you have are all wrong in stuff. It's not good unless it's Hatch Chile which is from New Mexico. biggrin

I disagree with that. There are a lot of kinds of peppers. I'm guessing you're talking about green anaheim peppers mostly? I mean, peppers can be grown in a wide variety of climates. and a lot of it is the soil, nutrients, and the kind of pepper it is. a Hatch Chile are a few kinds of peppers that are grown in a specific valley.

an Anaheim pepper is a mild chili pepper. a Hatch pepper, like I stated, is a pepper grown in the Hatch Valley, just like wikipedia seems to confirm. Which refers to more than 1 kind of pepper. A bell pepper is part of the same capsicum annuum family that also includes the chili pepper. You didn't actually read the wikipedia article you linked, did you? It, sort of just confirmed what I say.
