History: At the time of his death his soul became restless and upon arriving to the soul society he was placed in the Zaraki district, just one more of the countless souls locked in a never ending battle for survival he carved a path of blood and made a name for himself, he was eventually found by the shinigami and they saw great potential in him, he was immediately prompted to join the Academy and he did, finally it seemed as though that struggle for survival was over, little did he know that within the academy the struggle would continue, his peers tried to kill him via 'accidents' countless times, when asked about the matter they would only reply that 'such lowly scum should not be allowed into the academy'; And so he continued his training, excelling where others failed and moving up in the ranks of the academy, he graduated in 1 year but enjoyed the academy so much that he spent the next 10 years as a tutor and continued his training in secret, after ten years he was offered a spot in squad 13 and he quickly accepted said offer, he was promoted to Lieutenant within the first month and was deemed a Captain Class fighter soon after, many times he was asked to take the promotion to Captain, all the times of which he said no, he remained within his squad for 500 years, he made close bonds with his captain and the 3rd seat, one day they went out on a mission and got ambushed by a group of hollows led by a Vasto Lorde, the latter managed to kill the third seat and mortally wound Iori, his captain the gave his life to killing the hollow and using the last of his energy to save Iori from the hands of death, after this Iori was detached from the normal happenings of every day life, sunken in grief over his dead comrades, he took a bow to never let another hollow take something precious to him, now he is made another offer to join a squad, the question is, will he accept or not?....

Zanpakuto Appearance: Shinwa-jō no gādian takes the form of a Simple Katana it has a black sheathe and a white handle with black diamond like markings and a bronze circular cross guard, the blade itself has the etching of a dragon very close to the hilt of the blade.
Zanpakuto Spirit: Shinwa-jō no gādian takes the shape of an empty Suit of Armor, he has no real appearance outside of the armor itself and it often jokes about having the mysteries of the universe within it's emptiness, phrase to which Iori commonly laughs at.

Minami 南 (South) : By focusing reiatsu on the blade the latter can be super heated in a matter of instants, this grants in increase in cutting power as well as inflicting more pain upon victims, the heat can be concentrated on any part of the blade and may also set the blade ablaze, this technique may also be used as a mid-long range technique fired by pointing the blade at the target, all of the heat and flames are sent forward in the form of a Burning Phoenix, this attack may be controlled for 2 posts after being fired by hand motions. There is a 4 post cool down between this technique and Azuma.

Shippo Tsutsuku no Seiryū 紺 碧 の 竜 の 尾 の ス ト ラ イ キ (Tail Strike of the Azure Dragon): The user spins the trident like weapon while water becomes visible forming the outline of a circle over the user, when ready the rotation is stopped and the weapon swung in the direction chosen by the user, a solid funnel of water is sent forward following the motion of the weapon, it has enough crushing power to level buildings.
Hajimari no Seiryū 紺 碧 の ド ラ ゴ ン の 起 源 (Origin of the Azure Dragon): By pointing the lower end of the trident like weapon at the opponent the user can fire an extremely high pressure and high velocity beam of water, this water jet can cut cleanly through layers of stone with ease and can move through space at speeds of up to 100 mph, the one downside to the technique is that by concentrating so much into firing such a fine beam the user cant lock on to moving targets, so for greater success the user may focus water and bait the opponent into close quarters to unleash the beam from there, the beam itself has a range of 50 feet of optimum piercing power, anything more than that and the beam will be unable to pierce whatever it's aimed at.

Shinku Hoshi no Minami 南 の 緋 色 星 (Scarlet Star of the South): A small orb of burning energy and heat is released from the tip of the blade which goes forward at high speeds, it dries any moisture in it's path and shines just like a shooting star as it moves through the sky, this move can shatter small rocks and leave 3rd degree burns.
Suzaku no Tsubasa 朱 雀 の 翼 (Wings of the Suzaku): The user focuses the energy on the edge of the blade and lets loose a wave of fire that turns into a tornado of pure fire, the temperature inside the funnel can reach temperatures of 300 C, anything caught unprotected in it's wake is sure to be torched, however the technique cant be sustained for long, it only lasts 1 post and a 3 post cool down.
Suzaku no Yuurei 朱 雀 の 亡 霊 (Ghosts of Suzaku): By focusing all the heat from the surroundings onto the blade and some reiatsu the user can fire Phoenix like creatures from the blade, these creatures explode on contact reaching temperatures of 200 C, these creatures can be controlled by hand gestures and detonated remotely by the user, if detonated remotely the temperature of the attack is considerable less (About 200 F). This technique can only be used 2 times, if used a third the user reverts back to shikai and can not use bankai for the remainder of the day.

Kizuna no Konran Jootai ア ナ ー キ ー の 絆 (Bonds of Anarchy): The user commands the winds to gather at his blade, this in turn increases the cutting capabilities and extends the blade another 2 feet, the sheer amount of energy released by swinging the blade at full power is enough to tear clean through the earth and leave large cuts deep into the ground which suggest that if one is cut directly by the attack one would surely loose a limb. 5 post cool down, Max 2 per day.

Kuro no kyūden no kabe 黒 の 宮 殿 の 壁 (Walls of the Black Palace): By stomping on the ground the user erects four walls and subsequently a roof of rock and earth to entrap the victim, If successful the user then slams the hammer against the earth and creates spears of stone within the structure with the intent to pierce the victim from every possible angle. The walls may be broken by a strong enough force or with kido above 50.
Itadaki no Kuro ブ ラ ッ ク サ ミ ッ ト (The Black Summit): The user focuses enormous amounts of reiatsu into one strike of earth shattering power, the hammer grows in size as it collects small stones and dust particles, when the reiatsu has reached it's peak the hammer is swung, the strike itself packs enough power to shatter bones and create painful injury, the technique may only be used 1 time and after using it the user reverts back to shikai and is unable to use bankai for 2 days.
