Yeeeees. It was finally time.
Aurora had been looking forward to this since the time she was awakened. Meeting Leto met meeting another family member, and Leto was THE big sister of the group. She knew what she was doing, and she'd be telling Aurora what to do and how to do it.
But more importantly, big sister time.
So when Leto sent the call over the compact to meet her in MirrorSpace, Aurora was extra excited. She closed her door, put up some blankets on her bed to fool her brothers into thinking that she was sleeping, and transformed. Heeeee, this was just so awesome.
OKAY. So how was she supposed to do this again? Just... walk into a mirror? Aurora poked at her tall mirror, and swallowed when her finger just went right through it. SO COOL. Okay okay, so just walk.. and continue walking.. right... ready.. .GO.
Just a step intoooooo the mirror. Hopefully Leto was on the other side~

It wasn't soon after Ares awakened the newest Dark Mirror Senshi that Leto was summoned and informed. But Leto wasn't quite the most speedy or srs bsns of the Court (even though she probably should be), and she wasn't the type to throw new recruits into the fray right off the bat when being awakened was so overwhelming. So when she thought the time was right, she slipped through the cool surface of the nearest mirror and stopped in MirrorSpace.
Once in the stark, comforting white of MirrorSpace, she pulled out her compact and called for Sailor Aurora. It was time for Leto to meet the newest recruit and show her the ropes. This was by far her favorite part of being Captain of the Dark Mirror Court. Even more favorite than being bffs with the Negaverse!
So she stood, arms crossed over her chest, and waited for one of the mirrors surrounding her to come to life so she could stop Aurora mid-Mirrorwalk and keep her in MirrorSpace for their chat.

Aurora had wanted to charge right into that mirror, but even she knew to take this .. slow. At least, that's what her mentality was at first. By the time Aurora had appeared before Leto, she was already just about to speed-walk to get there faster.
Yeah, the words 'Aurora' and 'wisdom' were rarely part of the same sentence.
Luckily for Aurora, Leto would be there to stop her. Hopefully. The new dark mirror senshi's widened as she was just about to pass Leto by in the MirrorSpace. Oh crap! "Hey! Uh, help!"

Sometimes Leto forgot that the newly awakened Senshi were not able to linger in MirrorSpace without being brought by another higher-level member of the Court. Okay so maybe she didn't think this whole meeting-in-MirrorSpace wasn't her most brilliant idea to date.
She quickly reached out and grasped Aurora's hand just before she slipped through another mirror and disappeared. She tugged backwards and pulled Aurora towards her and grinned.
"Sorry 'bout that. I need to remember you guys can't stop at will like I can," she laughed. "I'm Leto, nice t'meet you!"

The other unspoken caveat was that mirrorwalking was a lot like jogging. By the time Leto had pulled her, Aurora was thoroughly exhausted. Aurora stumbled face first into Leto's quite ample bosom.
"Mmmnnff mff mnnnffff!"
Translation: "Nice to meet you too!"
Poor newbie. At least they were nice and soft.

Nice and soft indeed. Leto couldn't help but burst into a fit of laughter as Aurora face-planted her chest and mumbled into it. Poor girl.
She put both hands on Aurora's shoulders and gently helped her to stand up straight.
"You, my dear, are awfully pink," she said as she mentally engraved Aurora into her brain forever. "Sure as s**t won't miss you in a crowd," she added with a grin.
With her hands still on her shoulders, Leto's expression became slightly more serious as her eyes met the other girl's. "You've obviously got the hang of Mirror-walking! Congratulations, that's pretty much the biggest learning curve we've got!"

"Oooog..." As Aurora's first experience in the art of boob face-planting, it left her a little dazed. She laughed nervously along with Leto's more jovial laughter. "Ahahaha, sorry. Your boobs are nice and soft." Yeah, she said that. Ahem. "I mean, YEAH. I'm really pink. Yuh huh." Uh oh, serious time. She gulped as Leto's eyes met hers. Was she... was she going to kiss her..? Oh my gosh, her first kiss... Her heart thumped louder against her chest as the anticipation grew. Tha-thump, tha-thump, tha-thump. Oh. Mirror-walking. The girl swallowed and nodded once. "Ahahaha, thank you. That was.. kinda fun." Bawww..

Leto quirked an eyebrow at Aurora's comment about her boobs being soft. Okay, this kid was adorable and it was really hard to even attempt to be mad about it.
She snickered and shook her head slightly, her long hair bouncing over her shoulders. "Have you met other people in the Court yet? How are you finding everything so far? I know it can be a little over-whelming at first."
She was pretty sure that when she was awakened she thought it was the absolute worst day of her life. Talking cats and giant opossum youma attacking her and no one to explain what the flying ******** was going on. Leto sincerely hoped that not a single person in the Dark Mirror Court would ever feel the way she did that day.

"Uhhmm... well." Aurora started counting on her fingers, which were hidden oh so carefully with those long sleeves of hers. "I've met Princess Ares, of course! And Dahlia - oh my gosh soooo fluuuffy." Ergh, she loved cats. She must meet all the cats. All of them. "And I met Toutatis the night after I was awakened. Otherwise," she said, throwing up her hands, "that's it! Ares said to talk to you first. And here I am! I... have no idea what I'm doing." The girl laughed nervously. "Other than, jumping from object to object. I'm getting pretty good at that. Ahahaha."

Leto didn't understand how anyone could possibly function, let alone fight anyone, with sleeves like that. How do you punch someone when you can't even see your hands? Not that Aurora particularly looked like the fist-fighting type...
"Awesome. If you ever, ever, ever need anything, use your compact mirror and call me. No matter when or where or what is happening, call. Especially if you're in trouble. Okay?"
That was something Leto took very seriously. The one time her pride had gotten in the way, she didn't call anyone when she was being pummeled by two White Moon Senshi in the park and that resulted in a broken nose and busted knee- she didn't wish that on anyone. Especially not her beloved newbies.
"There are people out there that won't think twice about trying to hurt you, so be careful." She smiled to try and ease the severity of what she was saying.
"Do you have any questions? We can start with that."

"Oh. This?" She pulled out the mirror in question. "Okay, call you, gotcha." Not that she'd use it any time soon within the coming weeks, farrrr too optimistic for her own damn good. But for right here and right now, she kept a mental check to use that mirror. Leto's smile and warning made her blush. She was so.. so... cooool... Oh yeah. Question asking time. "Uhm, so, why exactly - are we here? What are we supposed to be doing? I mean, Princess told me a few things but... I'm kinda lost." She paused. "And what's the White Moon anyway? Why are they our enemies?"

"Our goal in the Dark Mirror Court is to convert all of the existing White Moon Senshi to our Court, and awaken all future Senshi within our ranks as well. Ideally, Ares wants to bring us home. Back to our planets and stars and constellations where we all lived in our past lives- the place you were named after. At which point we will leave the Earth for the Negaverse, this is their place."
Was that right? Leto wrinkled her nose slightly as she thought about it.
"Oh! And the reason you use your wraith is to collect energy so Ares can create more of us. Without that energy, she can't do it. Just... Don't tell any of the White Mooners that. The White Moon isn't neccessarily our enemy- they just don't think what we're doing is right, they don't understand it. They are brainwashed and confused and our job is to bring them clarity."
After a brief pause in speech, a set of chairs formed in mirrorspace, and Leto took a seat, offering the other to Aurora. Sometimes it was nice to sit and relax, damnit.
"I was one of them once. Ares saved me."

Aurora settled into her seat. "Oh?" Ares saved Leto? Just like that? But.. what did she save her from? She didn't think to ask her, the new information too busy percolating in her mind to ask something like that. At least, for now. "Okay, so we're trying to go home but before we can do that we need to convert everyone to the Dark Mirror. Gotcha. And the Earth belongs to the Negaverse? But the White Moon believes that we're the enemy even though we really just wanna go home?" This was.. confusing. "Who is brainwashing the White Moon into all that? Who's the Negaverse and why does Earth belong to them? Ares saved you?" Okay, that personal question just sort of was blurted out like so many things that came out of her mouth. "And how do we save everyone? How do we give them clarity?" She needed some clarity too!

"Yep.... Pretty much," was Leto's only response to Aurora's questions. She didn't quite understand why the White Moon was so against the ideals of the Dark Mirror Court, if she was being honest.
Andddddddddddd here came more questions. Holy ********.
Leto stared at Aurora for a moment as she tried to absorb all of the questions that were just vomited at her.
"Uh....." Wow, she was really bad at this.
"Well. Um. I.... Er, well, I don't really know who is brainwashing them. As far as I remember, we're just awakened that way. They fight to take over a place that isn't theirs. Senshi are born on their planets and the White Moon Princess took that from us, forcing us to come to Earth. This isn't where we belong. Negaverse Agents were the Knights of Earth, as far as I know. I don't know a whole lot about their history though, if I'm being honest. They were here first and they're just fighting for their home."
She chewed her bottom lip for a moment. Her life as a White Moon Senshi wasn't something she was proud of, and definitely wasn't something that she talked about very often.
"The 4 of us that started this Court- Ares, myself, Requiem, and Gaia- were all White Moon Senshi, part of a group called the Blood Moon Court. Ares ran it, we did a lot of really bad things, and one day Ares became the Dark Mirror Queen and converted me, Req and Gaia. Almost like a Baptism of sorts. Without Ares, I'd still be one of them.... And that is a part of my life I never ever want to re-live. And the only thing we can do besides forced conversion is convincing each and every Senshi we encounter that this is the right side."

"Ah, okay. So the White Moon Princess, whoever she is, took away all of ours homes.. and she messed up everything. Gotcha." It still didn't make sense to her. She listened closely in on Leto's story and nodded. Poor Leto! Still, she wondered what exactly were the bad things that Leto and her Blood Moon Court did. Hrm.. But Leto seemed to be faltering. Maybe there wasn't much that she could tell her, or like she said didn't know about. She didn't want to make her uncomfortable. That would suuuuck. "Okay! So. How do you work the mirror wraiths? You get energy from people, right? How? Then what?" Ooooh so curious.
