Remarque liked to think that there was little capable of really surprising him, however the sheer number of chaos aligned signatures he'd come across in recent days—particularly from those he was unfamiliar with—was enough to leave him, at the very least, impressed.
When he sensed the aura of a fellow Dark Mirror Senshi, he initially assumed it to be one of the many he'd already become acquainted with. Considering he hadn't seen a fair share of the group in a while, he figured now was as good a time as any to check up on them.
Mirrorwalking nearer to their location took only a few seconds; he'd been near enough to a mirror that a short stroll had gotten him where he'd wanted to be with nearly no effort.
Stepping out of the mirror, Remarque realized he was closer to the signature than he'd first estimated. He brushed himself off as he stepped away from the mirror, guiding away the few leaves that clung to him as he stepped out of the bush it had been hidden in. When he stepped out past the treeline, his eyes drifted immediately to a figure he identified as human—and paused when he realized he was not looking at a Dark Mirror Senshi he recognized.
"Ares certainly has been busy," he mused, certainly loud enough for his words to be heard. He was not the sort to talk to himself, though even if that hadn't been apparent, the fact that he was still walking towards her should have been sign enough that he was looking for a conversation.

It was yet another night of 'minding her own business', slowly siphoning off couples' energy while daydreaming the couple of mostly boring hours away. Tonight's mark was a club, and she hid in the alleyway while her mirror wraith darted out and back into the mirror shard. There were a few close calls where she had to duck back into the further reaches of the shadows. Those times were actually exciting with the thrill of being caught! On the other hand, a few times were highly embarrassing... Aurora was in the middle of blushing and looking away from an extremely intimate couple when HOLY CRAP THAT GUY JUST APPEARED IN FRONT OF HER-- She couldn't help but squeak.. very, very loudly.

The squeak caught Remarque by surprise and he found himself staring at the girl before him with a but of a scrutinous look. "That is not a very becoming sound from a Dark Mirror Senshi," he reprimanded, however seemed far less critical than he could have been. "Are you typically that faint of heart or has something got you spooked?" he prompted, brow quirked.
He did not back off from her, though he did make sure to keep a bit of a distance; she might have been a member of the Court, though with a noise like that? How unpredictable were the rest of her actions going tp be? He didn't want to be in the way if she decided to start screeching and flailing her arms. Girls tended to be a bit crazy, and already this one was fitting the mold pretty decently.

Some girls-- well, most girls. Hell, ANYONE -- would be insulted by what Remarque just spouted out to her. But it didn't appear to faze Aurora in the slightest. She just brought her sleeve up to her mouth and covered it for a few seconds, before taking a huge breath. "No and no," she answered quietly, glancing from smooching couple back to Remarque and back again. Her blush deepened and she quickly found something else to look at. Like Remarque's a**. That was a pretty cute one. She would like to stare at it more. But more importantly for the moment, his a** had wings attached to it. Oh my God yyyyeeeessssss. Eyes front and center! Aurora straightened and smiled brightly at Remarque. "You're the co-captain, right? I'm Aurora! Nice to meet'cha!" She held out a hand to him.

Remarque attempted to follow Aurora's eyes out of habit, but when she was making some rather questionable observations. Her enthusiasm for greeting him, however, left him highly pleased. "Indeed I am," he replied simply, extending a hand. "Remarque, Puppetry," he introduced, figuring if she knew him as 'co-captain' then he didn't need to much of an introduction. "And it is," despite how easily startled she had been before, "an absolute pleasure to make your acquaintance, Aurora."
He wasn't shy to flash one of his more handsome smiles as he held out his hand in greeting. "Has the Court been treating you decently enough so far?"

Aurora was more than happy to take Remarque's hand and shake it. In fact, she was downright ecstatic. And the smile that oozed out charm helped out with that too. Nice butt. Handsome smile. It was looove. "Oh, ah, yeah! I've met up with Toutatis and Leto so far. They're really cool." 'Cool' was an understatement. They were amazing forever and ever. "I haven't met anyone else though." Her blushing smile turned down to a sad face for a mere few seconds. "Oh, besides you, of course. But yeah.."

While Remarque didn't know Toutatis as well as he knew Leto, but commented, "I suppose it's only appropriate that you should meet the Captain first. Good, I'm glad she's gotten to you. She give you the lay down on mirror walking, draining energy—dealing with the bad guys?"
He hadn't been on Leto's team when they'd been divided after the incident on the Surrounding, though he assumed she had been a competent enough leader there for Ares to promote her to Captain. Though…he really hadn't seen any of her original troupe sans Navi in months, so he could only question their fate. At least of Requiem's group he knew that he and Lesath were faring well—and he'd seen Requiem during the ambush a fair few months ago.

"Ahahahaha, yeah. Well, I had to mirror walk to get to her, but luckily she caught me." In her bosom. "And I've been draining energy too - so far, so good!" Aurora leaned back against the brick wall of the club. Luckily the kissing couple had gone their way without paying much attention to the two strangely dressed Chaos senshi. "Though," she continued, rubbing her arm, "I guess I'm still an amateur at .. everything."

"You'll get better," Remarque said, in a tone that almost even sounded reassuring. "Starting off can be a little tricky, but after a few tries, you'll be as good as just about anyone else." Just about anyone else because he assumed he was top notch and not to be outdone—especially by a newbie.
"Any little effort you make is a good step for the Court." He trusted that the rest of the Court was out making rounds, gathering energy, buttering up senshi and appropriately dealing with knights, though the fact that he hadn't seen many familiar faces of late made him suspect that they were either slacking or working their asses off in very dark corners of the city. That she was making an effort was enough to please him; he wore a faint little smile as he drifted onto another topic. "…Though, just out of curiosity," and he'd waited so long to ask, "Before I showed up, what were you looking at so intently over there?"

Aurora beamed at Remarque's vote of confidence. Heck, if the co-captain wasn't worried then she should even be less worried! That's how things were supposed to go, right? Right. Not that she was too worried to begin with. She'd been giving it her all plus ten so far. Wait. What did he just ask. "Oh! Umm... That couple.. over there..." She pointed off in the vague direction of the club entrance. Was he able to see that blush creeping into her cheeks again? Yeah, probably. "They were, umm..." doing more than just a sweet innocent kiss. "Yeah."

Aurora's response lead Remarque to expect the worst; he had not been keeping his eye on the couple, so he hadn't known the extent of what they were doing. He blinked, a bit taken aback that this sweet looking girl had so effortlessly copped up to spying on a couple? The color in her cheeks did not persuade him she was entirely innocent. "Ah, so does that mean the Dark Mirror Court has a voyeur in their midst?" he prompted, sly grin creeping onto his face.
Naturally he couldn’t resist teasing this newcomer; he might devote himself to looking out for her and making sure both she and the Court succeeded, but it didn't have to be strictly serious. Where was the fun if he couldn’t pick on his teammates once in a while?

"V... v... voyeur?!" Aghaghaghagh. Remarque could probably feel the heat from her body now, that blush uncontrollable. Did he really just call her that? She played the scene in her head again. Yes, yes he did. Aghaghaghagh. Aurora put on her serious face. "I'll have you know that I'm a master at observation, co-captain. I was just doing my humblest job watching, making sure they weren't an enemy and that my position wouldn't be compromised!" .. and daydreaming about that hot kiss.

A far more amused smile had planted itself on Remarque's lips. "Oh, no, of course not. Well, my little master at observation, glad to see you're at least getting so…enthusiastic about self preservation and are working so hard to be aware of your surroundings. Though, if you're open to a little bit of…helpful information? I find it exceptionally useful to pay attention to the power signatures that pop up around you. Those tend to be the most defining features to note of others in the area. You should look for those. I mean, I would hate for such a master of observation to, say, let someone just sneak up on her or something because she forgot to pay attention to those signatures."
…He might never let her live down that squeak. Especially not if she really did consider herself to be a master of observation.

Ulp. Oh my gooooosh this guuuuy.... Aurora chewed her lower lip, biting back any further comments. Well, at least for a few seconds. She just had to say something. "I'll... uhm... take that into consideration." Hair flip. THERE. TAKE THAT. She urked. "Wait, wait, wait, no. I mean, I didn't mean to be rude. Just--" The dark mirror senshi had never been so flustered in all of her life. She just wasn't used to being teased. But, at the very least, it was a sign that he liked her! Eeeeee.

Remarque watched Aurora for only the briefest moment before he burst into slight laughter. Even with consumed with humor, he seemed dreadfully serious, though at least now he had a genuine smile on his face, devoid of annoyance or judgment. "If you think that was rude, you should spend more time with Lesath. Or, rather. Don't."
It was clear that he was still in a good mood, and if that was Aurora's idea of being rude, he was looking forward to working with her. He nodded approvingly, thinking that as long as she kept her head on her shoulders and learned to mind her surroundings, she would be a very enjoyable ally. Someone to lighten the mood was acceptable, as long as she knew when to take things seriously. People like that were good to boost morale when things had turned sour. He had no doubt that she would be appreciated by some of the more easily discouraged members of their group.
