I hope I don't need a new computer soon. sad I've only had this one for like over 2 years. sad It acts weird sometimes and it randomly turns off when it's really hot and/or when I'm doing something intense or have too much stuff open. I hate that. I like can't play games on it cuz of that.

My laptop is still in decent shape. Aside from having to replace the power cord and the battery only lasting for like 5 minutes, Ive never had any problems with it. Netbook, which is newer, has given me the blue screen of death a few times and shut off from overheating like 4 times, but it's Acer so that's to be expected. I would love a desktop though. When my laptop dies, I'll probably replace it with a desktop.

I don't think you need a high end top of the line computer for the sims 3 to be running on the highest quality. If you have a mother board just upgrade the hardwarez. I'm sure you can have that running at 60 fps+.

Blue screen of death just means there was an error with the operating system.
All systems have some variation of it.

cool4 Blue screen of death just means there was an error with the operating system. All systems have some variation of it. If you ever have that problem again just delete /system32. :3

Laptops aren't really designed to play high graphic multimedia, they'll all eventually overheat, and what not.
Though a good processor, lots of RAM and a decent sized hard drive, you can probably get some good play time out of it.

I miss my old laptop. It never turned off randomly, even when it was hot. I could play games all I wanted.

I'm sure you can have that running at 60 fps+. I want a nicer computer for various reasons. Computers, to me, or more important than... Cars... D: So I would pay as much for a computer as a used car. D: I'm terrible.
