Otto stood, blonde hair cascading flippantly in the breeze. It was time to spar.

Was Otto.. posing?
When Robert jogged out to the spar field to see who was up for some practice, he saw Otto standing there, with his hair all flying dramatically around his face, as if he was waiting for someone to take his picture. Robert had to stop, looking around, and then stare at the boy for a moment.
"You're such a fruit, christ." Robert reached out and noogied Otto, before summoning Jezebel. "Come on, whip it out, I'll give you something to pose about."

Otto was snapped out of whatever daydream he was trapped in, immediately grouching at Robert as he noogied him. The summoning of Jezebel brought back an unpleasant memory, but it was dismissed quickly. It was payback time.
Otto broke free and summoned Tenya, huffing indignantly at Robert. "You got a nasty mouth, ya know that?"
Like Otto was one to talk.

Otto ran a few feet, turning on his heel and reeled back his arm. He threw Tenya toward Robert, but....

"******** yeah I do." Robert nodded sagely. He spun Jezebel in his hand slowly, watching Otto's movements, until the hurl of that giant weapon came, and Robert managed to back out of the way. Luckily, he also turned to check on the return journey of the boomerang this time, as well. He wasn't getting caught with that trick again.
"Nice try, kid. Maybe if you had a nastier mouth, you might be able to control that thing better."
Robert leapt forward, lunging Jezebel at the man just as Tenya was coming back to her owner.

s**t. Robert knew the nature of Otto's weapon way too well. That was a challenge, he supposed. It would be a way of trying to better tune his technique to avoid his loud openings in his defense.
The teen grunted as Robert's weapon met with Otto's shield, knocking back a few steps.
"I control it just fine." Otto growled back, aiming Tenya at a nearby pillar and hurling it forward.
The boomerang zoomed past Robert, hit off of the pillar, off of a wall, and toward Robert again.

Robert liked that retort. He would have laughed, if he was in a laughing mood. As it was, he smirked weakly and nodded his head. "Well, good to hear. Don't want you getting your a** beat because you couldn't controH MY GOD-"
He truly didn't notice the boomerang coming back around for him. It slammed into him, sending him flying back on the grass. His body skidded a foot, before actually stopping.
"YOU LITTLE s**t." Robert growled, stumbling back up and throwing a rock at Otto's head.
Yeah, that just happened.

A small smug sense of pride spread inside Otto's core at Robert's reaction. He caught his weapon as Robert slid to a halt. Well, that had been effective. He'd have to remember to keep terrain in mind next time he was in the battle field.
Otto yelped as suddenly Robert lost his temper, barely able to duck away from the rock. It nicked him in the forehead though, which had Otto casting a hard glare at the older man. "HEY!"
Rock!? The ******** huffed and spun Tenya round and round.
And then let it go free in Robert's direction.

Robert had barely gotten up before the boomerang slammed into him, sending him flying back on his a** ONCE AGAIN. A string of expletives ripped from his scowling face, proving Otto's theory on a dirty mouth oh so right. He would have made a sailor blush, with some of the things he was saying. And what was that about Otto's mother? Burn.
Robert knew he was losing any chance to redeem himself. He stood up again, stormed forward, and got up close and personal with Otto. Jezebel's tip barely grazed against the other man with a close miss, but it was enough to tear that little jacket right in the pocket.

Otto's eyes widened as Robert exploded into the nastiest temper tantrum he'd seen outside of his father. It actually kind of scared him. Like.. really scared him. The insult on his mother made his blood boil. Fear and anger brewed and boiled inside, feeding his strength even further.
Robert's quick attack wasn't quick enough, giving Otto time to dodge the brunt of it, but not without getting his coat ripped. The teen bailed out of the garment since it seemed stuck on the edge of Robert's blade, and he had no business getting up close with a raging adult.

Robert wasn't about to wait for Otto to finish taking his jacket off. Jezebel came raining down on the main mercilously, slamming into his shield and pushing down with all of Robert's weight.
Why, oh why, did Otto always seem to catch Robert when he was upset about something else?

Otto seemed to have a knack for catching Robert in a mood, and it always seemed to bring the teenager to a bad place. The teen gritted his teeth as Jezebel tore into his shield. s**t, not again!
Otto whirled Tenya around once to try and get Robert to back off.

Robert was in the process of bringing Jezebel down for another swing when Otto regained his bearings and brought Tenya around. The Life Hunter barely had time to barrel roll away from the hit, managing nothing more than a nick in the process while he tried to get away from her. Tenya was certainly formidable when it came to pushing a close combatant away, and that was working against Robert.
But he had some range, too.
He stayed several feet away, once he was up, and simply twirled Jezebel in his arms, waiting for Otto's next move.

Otto staggered backward, wary of letting Robert get close again. The teen reeled back his weapon again and threw it toward Robert, letting it miss so it could ricochet off of surrounding obstacles and hit Robert indirectly while Otto moved to find where Tenya would end up.
