No Yuuma, Gottschalk and Morgwyn today. It was a bit like shedding fur, only it was even more rare than that and probably not as comfortable. His little band of followers made life easier and more fun, most of the time. However, he did need a break away from them to fulfill... more interesting matters. He'd hunted with Yuuma and dragged the findings back to the band not too long ago, so the cheetah was nice and fed, and smelled slightly of antelope blood. He licked the red off of his muzzle as well as he could and headed down to the watering hole that was, more or less, a mile from camp.
He had to wash his face before the red stained his white fur. If there was anything Sulieabhan liked more than his group, it was being utterly spotless. The red mark in his black fur on his shoulder drove him insane because he wasn't able to wash it off. He'd tried so hard to do that when he was a cub, but to no avail.
Sighing, he dipped his head in and lapped at the cool liquid when he finally got there. The only thing that would make this a better day is if he were to run into a female. Aah, the whole point he left the group a second time. He wanted to fulfill his male desire. The only female of his group was a serval, so that wouldn't do at all. Perhaps if he waited here he would cross paths with one. So, he settled down next to the watering hole, crossing his front paws over one another, letting his toes dip lightly into the water. It was a warm night, so he thought of using the 'care to join me for a swim' line. It seemed feasible enough.

(( I can't access my photobucket from my work computer, so I'll edit in her cert once I get home <33 )) Saiorse gave a sigh. The night was pleasant, warm but not quite hot, something the lioness was eternally greatful for. As comfortable as she was, the lioness couldn't help but feel restless, bordering on irritable. Not that irritable was anything different from normal. Hours before dusk, she had left the caves of her pride, tracing her way through the labyrintine caves without hardly a second glance. For hours she had wandered the savannah, mind buzzing with things she had rather not think about. Somehow, the lioness had stumbled upon the watering hole, a promising prospect. Pehrpas she would be able to spot some game, something large enough to fill a few bellies in the pride, but small enough to bring back with her. It was against their nature to hunt for others. In the 'Watoto, it was every one for himself, but times were dire. The king had even broken down to organize hunting parties, while his right hand lioness made sure that what little game was left was preserved, and not hunted into obliteration. It was a desperate time forthe goblins, their little family steadily shrinking every day, but who could blame them? Saiorse wasn't quite the hunting type, she was one of the Ludo. It was her job to make sure that the pride was protected from hostile outsiders, but now it seemed like the biggest threat to her pride was the land itself...
So lost in her thoughts was the lioness that she hardly noticed anything around her. She crouched low to the water, lapping up the cool liquid--what was that? The magenta lioness lifted her head, ears up and alert. She had heard him before she saw the white and red form, a low grow rumbling deep in her chest. She was far from in the mood for company, but when was she ever?

The growl caught his attention before looking up from the water and then tilted his head a little bit. Grinning to himself when he saw the electrifyingly pink lioness, he just tilted his head at her and clicked his tongue. "Temper temper," he said, not moving from his spot, a grin on his face. "I've done nothing, miss. I'm just enjoying the nights warmth like any other would." He raised his brows and grinned a little more, chuckling. My, she was a pretty one. If that growl was any indication, she was feisty, too. This could prove very entertaining, or very annoying. Either way, he would have some fun with it.
Getting up, he stretched himself out and padded over to her. "I'm Sulieabhan..." He practically purred at her, the grin never fading form his muzzle. His eyes half closed in his grin as well. "Who're you?"

The lioness gave a pointed snort. Only a cheetah, and one with a smart mouth at that. She stood, straightening and composing herself as she looked the cheetah up and down. He had been able to sneak up on her, she'd give him that. There was something in the cheetah's grin that caught her eye, and kept her focus. The lioness lifted a paw, cleaning it of mud as she thought. "Sulieabhan." She dropped her paw, suddenly seeming utterly disinterested. The cheetah was dripping with charm, she would give him that. Saiorse shrugged, debating over how to answer. She shied away from simply handing over her name, that would be too easy. Still, to just ignore the question would be rude. She could do rude. The lioness's gaze settled back on the pale cheetah, something that was almost a smile tugging at her eyes. "So, Sulieabhan, where are you from?" Her tail metronimically tapped behind her as she sat, bright eyes watching the cheetah intently.

He noticed she didn't seem too interested in answering his question. With a delicate arched brow, those red eyes peered at the female with curiosity. Oh, curiosity would be the death of him, he had a feeling, but he couldn't help it. So many females made him curious. He wanted to get personal with them all. However, if she didn't change her tune, he would wouldn't continue talking to her for too long. He was only interested in the females who were interested in him. His tail flicked curiously as she avoided his question before shrugging.
"I come from all over. Born without a coalition, I just travel and stop when I feel like it," he purred at her, getting comfortable on his haunches. For now, he'd keep a distance. Honestly, the cheetah didn't mind that he didn't get her name. It made it so easy to just slip out and forget about the encounter, like all the others. Sulieabhan would return the question, but something told him that this lioness wouldn't return the answer.
"Tell me, lioness... Did you settle here for the night, or are you just passing through on the way to a hunting trip for a pride?"

Ok. The lioness thing was going to get annoying quick. She gave he cheetah a long look. Guesing that she was on the hunt for her pride wasn't too hard to do, she supposed. "Hunting actually, for my pride." The lioness shrugged, laying down on the bank, lifting her nose to the air for a moment. The evening was cooling, and the lioness took a deep breath of the night air, trying to clear her head. She had never quite thought of a cheetah as attractive. Being born into a pride of specificly lions, it had never qutie crossed her mind. Still, there was something in the charm and the purrs, or perhaps the way he kept his distance, unafraid but respectful, in a manner of speaking. She liked that. Those bright pink eyes landed on the cheetah again, watching him for a moment. Most of the tension had gone out of her as she settled on the bank, and she'd reached a decision to her debate. "...My name is Saiorse, by the way." Her tail flicked metronomically behidn her, rythmicly patting the bank. "So what brings you here, of all places, Sulieabhan? There's got to be something interesting to bring you here, right?"
