As much as the wolf objected, Yuuma needed time away from the serval just as much as Sulie needed time away from the leopard. Sometimes he became so wrapped up in debates or teasing the leopard, the tall cheetah didn't really realize how many days he spent not eating or taking care of the smaller companions. Red eyes peered out at the nearly night sky, squinting as the last of the day light was slowly sinking beneath the horizon. There'd be very little moon tonight. It would make hunting interesting, that was for sure.
Stretching out his legs, the cheetah looked to his 'son' and smirked. "I know you're hungry, Yuuma, so stop trying to act like you're not. I hear your stomach while playing with Morgy," he said, tone teasing and surprisingly masculine for his thin frame.
He was rewarded with a roll of the maned wolf's eyes and a hearty laugh escaped him. "I'll feed you well tonight. But you have to learn, as well. Come on, Yuuma." He said, trotting off down a path he'd worn not too long ago. He'd been using this same path to track a herd when Gottschalk and everyone else was asleep. He knew it would come in handy one night when he finally got hungry. Hopefully, no one else was tracking the antelope. Yuuma, on the other hand, didn't really want to leave Morgy out of a potentially fun hunting experience. Besides, what if the leopard was asleep and he wasn't there to protect her? His ears docked against his head at the thought and his body tensed up as he followed his 'father' along the path.
"I can bring her back something, right? Are you going to bring back something for Gottschalk?" He asked, tilting his head this way and that as he talked. It was a legitimate question. Sometimes Sulie ate so much there was nothing to bring back. Maybe he would try to bring down his own kill so he could drag it back for the little feline. She needed to eat, too. He couldn't imagine her trying to track down an antelope, much less killing it. She was so tiny and too adorable to do that!Sulie sighed at the, in his opinion, stupid question. "Yes, Yuuma, you can bring back whatever your little heart desires. Now speed up."

Being a single father was proving to be a challenge. The cheetah he'd knocked up had deserted him with six cubs. The blue cheetah had almost deserted the cubs him self as well. There was something that kept him there. Some small spark of maternal instincts gained from his mother that kept him there as a father. Cubs couldn't fend for them selves after all. Mizer found him self hunting more often just to keep the cubs small mouths fed. Unknowingly, Mizer was stalking the same prey another cheetah and maned wolf stalked. The blue cheetah was far too preoccupied with zeroing in on his target to notice competition. Not only that but taking care of six cubs single pawed was tiring. His lack of judgement by not sniffing for rivals was a symptom of lack of sleep. His objective was clear though. Bring food back for his cubs. Mizer silently yawned and shook his head to keep him self awake. The cheetah was definitely feeling the effects of being a single parent.

Sulieabhan crouched down in the tall grass and was rounding the herd to get downwind of them. He really didn't want to alert them to his position. They would definately bolt of they smelled him or heard him moving too much. So, that's what the white and black cheetah was doing. The beads about his neck were quieted by the red rope he wore. He was thankful for that, really he was. He couldn't count the number of times he would have fumbled because of the beads. His tail flicked behind him and occasionally touched the wolf's side as Yuuma moved into position with him.
The cheetah growled slowly as his nose was filled with the smell of something not Yuuma or anything he was used to smelling. His tail flicked a little more and then grinned slowly. Interesting. Moving towards the smell, his eyes landed on a nearly asleep cheetah.
Moving closer, he poked the other and arched a brow. "Move more downwind or else you'll run them off," he said, stepping over the other and chuckled. What was one more cheetah to a herd of twenty or more antelope?
Yuuma also saw this cheetah when Sulieabhan did. However, he was interested in the blue cheetah. Aside from Sulieabhan, Yuuma hadn't seen many other cheetahs. He sniffed at the blue cheetah, tail wagging, showing he wasn't going to attack or anything. However, when his 'father' got further ahead, he whimpered and then nudged the other.
"Come on, come on!" He whispered, moving around him and after the familiar cheetah.

The black and white cheetah and his familiar were too close now not to smell. The blue cheetahs miss matched eyes sleepily stared at the two. Neither seemed to be up in arms that he was there. Normally, Mizer would be the one to chase off any rivals but today. Today he was tired. Today he knew he had to bring back food. Today was not the day to get in a fight for no reason.
He did scowl at the maned wolf for invading his personal privacy with the sniffing but even that was short lived. Orders which made since were given and actually followed by the blue and white cheetah. Slowly, he got to his paws and stalked after the two. He was too tired to argue tactics. He was actually in no position to even be out here in the first place.
".. " He opened his maw to say something but only a yawn happened.
"Interesting to see a maned wolf with a cheetah," He finally muttered. His tone was to tired to come off much as the a** hat way his tone usually did. He was simply spent.

He heard Yuuma start to follow him and the the other and Sulie just smirked. He rounded the herd and stopped once he figured he was in a good position before laying back down to observe them. The weak ones needed to be picked out. Looking to the two, he arched a brow at the blue one's words before shrugging. "Is it? I hadn't known that." His eyes were direct to Yuuma as the wolf laid down with him. "I saved him from a leopard attack when he was a pup. His family slaughtered, but he lived. Well... I didn't do it, another leopard did who I travel with. He took to me more than the leopard, so I suppose you can say he's my son. Right, Yuuma?" He looked over to the wolf and then nudged him for a response, sighing when the boy looked sad.Way to tell a stranger something he didn't want him knowing. Yuuma's ears pushed against his head again as he let Sulie speak. Really, he didn't want everyone knowing what had happened to him. Stupid Sulie.
