If it was his ultimate choice, he would have asked her to come to his pride. But seeing, as she was scared of her kids coming in contact with any other predators he resorted contacting a friend of his only to be told of a pride that painted his world of safety and protection for Ming and her family. His family. Unlike the other prides he looked in to- this one was full of cheetahs. Hopefully, and how much he convinced Ming about it, she would follow and when they set out.. It seemed like the directions ended in empty plains. His steps were uneasy. "....I'm sure we went the right way.." Then turned to the family behind him. "I will breeze on ahead.. We can stop here and camp out and continue on the trail in a few hours. I will be back. Protect your mother." Which was OBVIOUS. But he would repeat that statement every so often. It was as if he were asking them to protect his 'precious' jewel, their mother.
Following cautiously, Bai Xue had been a bit uncertain of this move. He knew his mother worried, he did, but he just wasn’t completely sold on the idea of joining up with a group. It was mostly due to the fact that he had never really been a part of any group like a pride or colony before, and the idea was a bit frightening to the young cheetah. Though, he could definitely see the benefits of it – safety, constant food and contact with other cheetahs. But right now, with all of this seemingly aimless wandering, the pros seemed to fade into the cons a bit for him. Flicking his ears up, Bai listened carefully to Koran. He wasn’t his biological father, he knew, but he was the closest anyone had ever come for him, and he hardly recognized the difference. “Of course.” Giving a small nod, he looked towards his mother, giving an encouraging smile. “He’ll find it, don’t worry.”
Ming looked at her cubs, it was almost a complete family... almost didnt feel good enough for her... Her only daughter Shun ran away, in almost the same fashion Ming ran away from her own mother; but she was slightly yonger then her... and Ming worried she would never see her daughter again... just like she hasnt seen her own mother...
She looked at her son and gave him a reassuming smile, "I know he will." She said looking back her twins; she could hardly keep a handle on them.
Yejian looked at his twin, "Ya You must get you hunting skills from him." He said with a chuckle over hearing what Bai Xue said.
"Me?! Your the one that always get us lost."Yitian said snapping back quickly. "Besides Koran is the one that finds us whenever you get us lost on your crazy hair brain journeys." He said with a huff pushing Yejian.
"Blah blah blah. Thats all i ever hear." Yejian said shoving him back starting an all out pushing war as they walked.
He didn't want to leave them, but he had to. He trusted the boys to hold the fort down while he went off to scout over where the place might be. He needed to get them back on track, where could this place even be? Rumors- damnit. The cheetah should have known but he couldn't go back without an answer and they couldn't go back to the area they priorly lived. It was dangerous and already had an attack- they needed this pride! "Woah~ hey!" Seeing a figure in the distance. "Hello!" He called out to them..
Taking a small stroll towards the borders, Amias was in quite a pleasant mood. Things had really settled down in the pride, and there was even new blood coming into their ranks. It was reassuring to the future heir; it meant that someday, he’d still have something to look after. There were times when things got a little too hectic for his liking, though. Like now, for instance. His family had just finished off their last group meal of the day, and of course his grandfather had to start nit-picking him again. Sure, Amias had made some mistakes in the past, but wasn’t part of the Makini’s motto ‘forgive and forget’ all things done in the rogue lands? Well, okay, he had definitely run out on his own marriage ceremony, but still. It was a little too much for him some times. Coming closer to the edge of their jungle, Amias’ ears flicked up instinctively as some rustling sounds echoed towards him. He was dark, so he blended into the shadows perfectly, but he wasn’t going to use them to hide. No, he wasn’t afraid of
anyone who happened to wander into their borders – in fact, he welcomed most travelers, but generally hoped that they were of the same species as him. “Hello?” His deep, thickly accented voice softly replied to the other, wondering who could be wandering around.
Ming worried about her mate, she didnt really like to be left alone since the fight with her daughter, but she still had her sons. She looked over at Bai Xue, she was happy at least they were capable of taking care of themselves. But then she looked over at her twins and they were still fighting, about what she didnt know.... at least she had one offspring that can take care of himself...
Koran's ears flew up. Thank the waters- he found someone! Which made him slow down his pace and bow his head before coming in to the distance where he recgonized the figure. A cheetah, which was ultimately good news. As he closed the gap between them, the hellow almost startled him. "Hm?" His pace slowed and he stood firmly not too far away from the male. Looking him over and just hoping. "I am looking for a coliliation, But I am not sure if I am going in the right direction." He tried to explain. Sitting on his hindquarters to seem less threatening.
"Do you happen to know where it is?" His posture,, by nature was straight and regal looking but it was honestly all the training he had when he was younger.
“Looking for a coalition?” Turning his head slightly, he eyed the stranger. He had never heard of anyone actively searching them out, though he had never been the one to come across any outsiders before. “What sort of coalition?” Turning his questioning look into a soft smile, he wanted to be a bit nonchalant; in case they held ill-intentions towards the Makini, he definitely didn’t want to just willy-nilly point them towards it. “Why are you searching for one, anyway? Are you not pleased with the lovely lifestyle we cheetahs are known to enjoy?” Stretching out, he was a bit curious. It was seen as odd for cheetahs to join together in the first place, and he had never had the feeling that had caused most to join, being born here and all.
Ming grew increasingly worried the longer her mate was out, she was just so worried. She grew up in the roguelands, she knew how dangerous they could be. She began to pace to help ease her mind from her current state of mind. At least her boys were all calm now. But she had something she had to talk about with Koran something.. he needed to know, but she still wasnt sure if what she thought it was was actually was... she just had to wait...
She looked at her sons, "He'll be okay wont he...." She asked looking at all her sons.
"Of course." The twins said in unison.
She let out a shy, "Ya your right...." She said staring off in the distance
He could protect them.. Even if the cheetah was trying to take information out of him. Information that he held dear, because Ming had been so secretive up until this point..But, some things needed to change- and they were in desperate need. HE, coming from a pride knew the advantages to one. So. He had to take a leap of faith. "An old friend told me about one." He started.. and trailed off a bit before giving the cheetah a nod. "I have a family now, that I need to take care of... but my.." The word made his heart pump faster. "My mate's home.. was attacked and since she ever really stayed close to her family.." Looking away for a moment to compose himself then back to the cheetah. "The roguelands is only so well, til your safety is comparmised." Slowly he got up and jumped down the rock he stood in. "My apologizes.. But i must find it." Bowing his head before turning to leave..
“Ah, I see.” Amias listened carefully to the male, noting his hesitance and subtle changes in his tone. It was comforting, oddly enough, to hear such things; if anything, Amias could tell that he was honest. “A family truly is a precious thing…” His voice grew soft, almost to a whisper, and his bicolored eyes fell towards the ground. “Ah, ah, monsieur!” Getting a little bit distracted, Amias hadn’t noticed him start to leave immediately. “What if I told you that I can take you there?” Raising a brow at him, Amias’ expression was almost devious. But, he felt as though he could trust this cheetah, and that they truly needed a new home. And what better place than his own protective home? It offered some of the safest accommodations, and it was wonderfully secluded. Besides, if anything changed, the guards would quickly sort it out when they got there.
Ming could no longer wait she had to find him, she was growing more anxious as the time went by. "Cmon, were going to find Koran i can sit here anymore." She lost her daughter she couldnt bare losing her mate... She got up and started walking in the direction she saw Koran leave. Looking back to see if her Boys were following.
She walked for a while, tracing his scent, waiting to see him come running toward her saying he found it, but so far nothing; she didnt know wheater to worry or be relived."Koran!" She began calling hoping he wasnt far off.
Time was twittling by, and he needed to at least get back to them. If he couldn't find it, then tomorrow morning he would continue looking. The thought of him finding it was escaping him til the cheetah grabbed his attention and his ear turned and his head went up. Straightening himself and turing around to face the male. "Monsieur?" It was a hard word to repeat but he didn't understand, he heard they had a different lango- maybe..Slowly piecing together maybe? The way he acted, he took a side ste and didn't know what to make of the situation he got himself in to now. "Then I will most humbly be in graditute." Ears fanned back, but then his name was called and he turned his head. "Ming..." Immediately recgonizing it. "But if you have no information, then I must get back to my mate and search tomorrow." Eyes firm, and waiting on the response from the male BEFORE notifiying Ming of his location..
“I am almost surprised that you have not yet caught on – though my accent has changed slightly since my escapades in the rogue lands.” It may have been a bit foolish for him to go this far, but Amias was a prince, and one who generally just acted however he pleased. Well, within reason. To him, by this point, it seemed silly not to welcome this cheetah and his mentioned family into their lands with open paws. “But-“ He paused, only a moment, not wanting this male to leave. They needed new blood, and he really didn’t want to lead him away from a place that they had been searching for. “I can take you there; to my home.”
Mings scent of Koran started to become stonger, she knew he was getting closer, she HOPED he was closer. "Koran!" She yelled out again, hoping for a response. Still nothing... Ming began to pick up her paced, what if hyenas were praying upon his body, or birds were pecking at his eyes. Even though Zhong would never do that, other birds would. See missed Zhong, but he said he would find her after he had a family too, and he would scearch for her daughter... Zhong was like the father that Ming needed in her life, like she need Koran now... "Koran!" She called out again seeing two silhouettes in the distance as she started doing a slight jog. She had to be careful she still didnt know if it was him or not; but if it wasnt she had her boys to protect her.
A relieving sigh left him and he bowed and smiled. "I suspected, but I didn't want to offend you.." Then the voice of his mate got louder but the confirmation was given. "A home that I will hope to call our own." The determination left his face now, and a calm settled so deeply within his heart that he turned and called out to his mate. First, a natural chirping call- then her name.. "Ming!~" Slowly trotting over to the rock again to gain height to show here the location. Another natural cheetah call yet again errupted to guide her towards them. "Home." A pleased look on his face, an inviting one.
"Ah, you have a good head on your shoulders." It was remarkable to see someone so aware of their surroundings, as well as cautious of strangers. "But, I'm sure you will come to like my home; I even came back to it after running away." His eyes trailed off as he said the last part, almost in a whisper. It was a rough patch, to say the least, but now he was more or less a shining poster-child for the Makini. "Come, I will show you all the way."
Ming was so happy to hear that Koran found someone to take them to the lands, she finally had a home, one where she was safe from the dangers of the roguelands and so were her boys. She just wished her daughter was here... with her... she didnt even really understand what happened that day... Maybe she was just a bad parent... But at least her boys and...even future litters would be safe... In her new home... The Makini’Adhima Lands.
