It's coming to DVD.
Ultraseven is one of the darker Ultraman shows, and raising complex moral issues not usually brought up in Japanese superhero shows of the time.
Unlike the others, Ultraseven was not an alien hiding in a human, but an alien disguised as a human. He also had no need for a color timer because he had a life support tank and could fight well beyond the 3 minute time limit.
And Ultraseven is not a typical monster of the week show, as stated before. Often he was faced with hard choices, one of them saved the Earth but left him disgraced for a few years because it was save the Earth or save an alien race.
One problem with the set though. Episode 12 was very controversial in Japan (getting banned), and will probably not be in the set as a result.
Seven... seven... seven... seven... SEVEN! SEVEN! SEVEN! SEVEN! SEVEN! SEVEN!
A faraway and distant star Is where you come from Ultraseven. Fighter seven! Ultraseven. Seven! Seven! Advance to the edge of the big galaxy With the Ultra Eye spark!
SEVEN! SEVEN! SEVEN! SEVEN! SEVEN! SEVEN!
You're going by the name of Dan Moroboshi Ultraseven. Hero seven! Ultraseven. Seven! Seven! Save us from destruction by evil monsters With the Ultra Beam strike!
SEVEN! SEVEN! SEVEN! SEVEN! SEVEN! SEVEN!
Seven is the number of The miracle man Ultraseven. Hero seven! Ultraseven. Seven! Seven! Go and defend our lives and happiness With the Ultra Hawk attack!

I think Ultraseven is the most tragic of all Ultras. I mean, look at the guy, he was put out of action on the 1st episode of Leo when the kaijuus broke his leg. You can even hear his leg snapped (!)
