This is only still up for us to use as reference until everyone is certed and/or moved to the memberlist.
For the most part, joining is open during this time. The tree ceremony is designed to help set up new roots within the Ela'wadiyi pride, as they are aware that fresh blood is important for survival. Not all members are so open to the idea, so tread carefully.
Please note that while you may try to apply any of your lions to join, each person may only have two lions join through this process. Pick wisely. Semi-regular joining stints will happen in the future if you have more than two prospective members.
Please fill out the form below. If your lion is accepted (and the cases against this are rare), they will be added to the list.

Please fill out and post the form below. There are two possible exceptions to sections of the form:
If you want to put a lion directly into a specific clan for mating reasons, you may petition that in your form. This is usually only considered if a female is joining, or if a mated pair are joining together. In the latter case, you will still be rolled for a clan, but they will go together.
If you have a lion that is a cub or juvenile, you are normally restricted from joining. This is because most young come from breedings, and we do not want to alter the dynamics of the family. There is a slight possiblitiy your cub/juve could join as long as you have explicit permission from the parents. ICly, the reason why they join is between you and the parents owners.

Please be honest! We don't mind if people want to join for breeding purposes, but thought put behind plots is always welcomed and encouraged. Please, please remember that Ela mate for life. Be careful in who you chose as a mate partner (ICly and OOCly).Important Reminders:
- Keep in mind that this is signing up for a ceremony. Any lions that petition to join as the Sky Festival approaches would be allowed to stay and wait for this ceremony, yes, but they aren't just wandering in and being a full member before or after this festival. They are joining during it, period.
- Please re-read pride info regarding Rogues. Absolutely no rogues should have been passing by or through the pride for more than a few days. Frequent visitors are also a challenge because all clans migrate every couple weeks. We don't like reading goings-on that are completely opposite pride structure, please keep in mind where your characters are or where they are coming when making plans.

SoA's Name: Bahati SoA's Image: Cert | UncertWhy do they want to join? Following a tragic accident in which one of her siblings died, Bahati fled from her pride through guilt. She was nothing more than a cub at the time and due to her inability to hunt she grew up as a runt. She's incredibly small and has barely survived on the smallest prey, but in a sheer moment of chance she encountered an Ela lion who not only showed her kindness and consideration, but also offered to share a brief moment of hospitality with her. This hospitality and kindness wasn't lost on her, and while she knows she lacks the skills to repay them for their meal directly, she desires nothing more than to repay them through other means. Not only that, but she aspires to thank the male who cared for her... in essence, she wants that sense of companionship, security and safety which is something (that for the first time ever) she thinks this pride can offer to her. What will they offer to the fire during the tree ceremony? A tuft of her fur and a twig from a young sapling. (Reason: She herself is small and weak, but when nurtured, may grow into someting more) Do you have a plot for them already within the Ela'wadiyi? All her children have grown into adults and have started a life path of their own away from her. It is time for Myrina to do the same and find what makes her happy. She hopes to settle down with a mate and live out the rest of her days in Ela. What will they offer to the fire during the tree ceremony? Myrina would like to offer two items, feather and one of her babies tuff of fur, from her past in the rogue lands to be given up in favour for her new future with the Ela Clan. He hadn't heard of it, until she met him when she was scouting around the outskirts of the pride. (I still have to set that RP up). Yamini was part of a pseudo-pride when she young, led by her mother, and while it was supposed to serve a great purpose it never really went anywhere. Yamini just wasn't dedicated to the goals and ideals of her mother and so she departed when the group began to fall apart. Now she's spent about equal times as part of a group and wandering on her own, she's tired of the lonesome rogue life. She has a couple reasons she would like to join this pride in particular. The fact they are in smaller, migratory sub-groups will help make the re-adjustment to pride life easier (also: moving around was never her issue with being a rogue and her only experience with group life has been in a fairly small group). Most importantly, though, is that they have values that are simple and easy to accept. She's looking for structure and likes that she doesn't have to ask why? about the kind of life she's expected to lead. What will they offer to the fire during the tree ceremony? A bracelet, similar in style to her mother (one of the simpler ones, so it can reasonably be expected to burn). A piece of her old life she's kept with her but that she is ready to give up. Do you have a plot for them already within the Ela'wadiyi? Nope!

SoA's Name: Kibwe SoA's Image:  Why do they want to join? Kibwe is an older lion; not elderly, but no longer in the youthful prime of his life. When he was young, he was a worry- and responsibility-free rogue. He caused trouble with the best of them and spent too much time with lionesses that he had no business speaking to. All he ever wanted to do was to chase the next thrill without a second thought about who he was leaving behind, or who he hurt. Then he grew up. Kibwe's personality mellowed out and he realized that he was missing a lot from his life. Now, he is completely different from what he was; quiet, respectful, and kind. He wants to find a place he can finally call home, with lions he can consider family. What will they offer to the fire during the tree ceremony? Only a piece of his mane. He wants to offer himself in the purest way he can. Do you have a plot for them already within the Ela'wadiyi? No, Kibwe is basically a blank slate for plots.

SoA's Name: Ka'ohu SoA's Image:  Why do they want to join? Ka'ohu has spent all of her life wandering the rogue lands and has suffered much hardship for it. Let down and heartbroken by those she trusted and living a lonely life of scavenging, she found a new lease of life in her adopted son. However, time has passed and that son is now an adult and has taken off on a life of his own, leaving her alone with his teacher; a male lion named Ceyx. Her friendship with Ceyx is a slow moving thing which started out as mistrust and dislike but has slowly grown with time. Now they have reached a fragile friendship with one another and have agreed that it is time to find a home. Despite being a rough and tumble sort of girl, Ka'ohu is not a warrior, does not like prides that take slaves and has always craved a true family. The Ela'wadiyi has good morals and a respect for others and kinship that she has always wanted. What will they offer to the fire during the tree ceremony? A tuft of her own fur to symbolise the 'removal' of all the bad feelings/events that have happened in her younger days. Do you have a plot for them already within the Ela'wadiyi? Ka'ohu will be joining with a male lion named Ceyx (owned by Yin-Bug). Her plot will eventually grow to trust him (and other males) and eventually take him as a mate. She also has a sister living in the lands (Hari owned by wooga) with whom she would like to bond with. So nothing planned at the moment except for family things and growing her personality to be less cynical. [An OOC note: Ceyx and Ka'ohu will be joining together. There's nowhere to specify which clan they can be put into, so if she can't join the Bird Clan (where her sister is) could I maybe request that she and Ceyx are not put into Shadow Clan? Most of my Ela are already there and I'd much prefer to have her in another one for RP purposes.]

He's not exactly an old lion, but he certainly isn't young (you could say middle-aged!), and after a life of aimless wandering and adventure, he's decided to find a place to live out the rest of his life, and create roots in a pride he admires. What will they offer to the fire during the tree ceremony? Some fur, and a few hawk feathers he keeps in his mane. Pretty much the only "permanent" attachment he has besides... well, himself. Do you have a plot for them already within the Ela'wadiyi? Nope!

Why do they want to join? She wants to find her own beat - she's decided that being beside her mother in the rogue-lands has been a wonderful life, but she wants to do something that's her own. She wants to believe in something for her own.
She was told of the Ela as somewhere to grow her roots and a land that she can dash her wild, sometimes angry ways. She will be coming to support a friend she met recently, also, in hopes that it will heal him, and her, together.
What will they offer to the fire during the tree ceremony? Some bird feathers - the best quality she can find - it will be a symbol of her devotion and a promise that she will shed her rogue lifestyle to stay with the pride.
Do you have a plot for them already within the Ela'wadiyi? Coffee and I have made a plot where her boy and my girl meet in the rogue lands and become each other's balance - he will be her calming voice and she will keep him strong and collected. We don't have a clan in mind yet, as long as they got together.

Why do they want to join? She is missing a home - she was part of a large society as a youth, before being taken away by an older brother to support a segregated part of the pride - which unfortunately fell through and left her alone. She is looking for somewhere to start anew, and has come to find new roots and learn again.
What will they offer to the fire during the tree ceremony? Dirt from her homelands - a reminder of where she has been, and a release from her old home.
Do you have a plot for them already within the Ela'wadiyi? Tenatively, she will be in contact with Kohana, so she may be pushing for the Shadow Clan.

SoA's Name: Tabbris SoA's Image:  Why do they want to join? Tabbris is a nervous boy who tends to freak out over the smallest little things. I've looked into other prides for him and they are too chaotic, too much going on. The Ela, in my opinion, are well suited to help him calm down. Nerp's girl is also going to act as his balance, his counterpart. He'll help her calm down and she'll help him be not so twitchy and nervous. What will they offer to the fire during the tree ceremony? Some of his own mane mixed with some sand glass he found from his time on the beach to show how dedicated he is to helping another and balancing himself out. Do you have a plot for them already within the Ela'wadiyi? Nerpin and I have plotted her girl and my boy to meet and become counter parts. Each others balances. As long as they got in the same clan together, I'm up for anything.

Gowe Galvquodi (part of the wolf clan) and Wana have been running in to each other a few times close to the boarder and Wana is pretty interested in her. What will they offer to the fire during the tree ceremony? Mud from the swamps as a sign of him leaving home behind. Do you have a plot for them already within the Ela'wadiyi? Yes I do. I am plotting to mate him with fees ela girl.
