Standing on the roof of his apartment building probably wasn't the smartest idea, but what the hell. He'd harm anyone who got within a twenty feet of the place that wasn't running on Chaos. His collar was turned up high, headphones cradiling his ears. His eyes looked out at the city. He'd been gone far too long, but it was necessary. His time in the Rift had taught him a lot of things; moreover, his demeanor had changed, and he was no longer the kind hearted soul he used to be. Anything, -anything- White Moon would be attacked on site, without hesitation, for what their magic had done to her. Jarosite let out a breath, coat snapping in the light breeze.

There was nothing that remotely resembled anything from the white moon near Jarosite on this evening. No, nothing that resembled the white moon anymore, at least.
Albireo had stopped bothering to look for Jarosite. She stopped caring, really. Sure, the first few days after her initial corruption she had looked and looked, but…then she just figured there was no point. If he didn’t want to be found, then he wouldn’t. And sure enough, he would be the same now as he always had been. The moment she stopped looking would be when he finally showed up.

She didn’t remember much from the night that she corrupted…but she remembered that he had been there. Or at least, she was pretty sure he had been there. If he hadn’t. Well, then she would deal with that if and when she saw him again. She felt another aura of chaos nearby and decided to pay it a visit. She did enjoy meeting her new teammates, and she hoped that she would be able to make another friend tonight, or something.
She all but danced her way towards the other member of the Negaverse—or perhaps member of the Dark Mirror court. It didn’t matter what they were. Leaping lightly onto a lower rooftop, she made her way finally to the top of the building and frowned. “Oh. It’s you, then.”

He always was around when she just didn’t care, or didn’t want him to be. It didn’t matter, really.

He glanced over at her, and just for a moment he saw Odette. For a moment he saw her getting all excited over history and clay objects, but the image dissolved with a blink of his eyes. The woman near him was nothing like Odey and never would be. It was pointless to keep dwelling on the past. He snorted softly, pulling his headphones off his ears.

"Were you expecting someone else?" he asked, his basey voice rumbling softly. A smirk graced his mouth for a moment before his more somber attitude took over again. Odette was dead; there was nothing he could do about it. He shifted his weight around, rocking on his heels. "You don't like me very much, do you, Sailor Albireo?"

She gave him a look, frowning slightly. “Why on earth would you say something like that, Captain Jarosite?” If he was going to be like that, then she would give it right back. A slightly playful smirk took over her features and she twirled one of her long pieces of hair. “I always seem to be stronger than you, don’t I. Is that why you’ve been avoiding me? You’re jealous that once again I’ve surpassed you in power?”

Maybe that was the reason, or maybe he was just…mentally incompetent, but…whatever it was…she wasn’t going to put up with his mood swings now. “I personally would have thought you would have been happy for me to finally be on your side. Or am I too much for you now. I think it’s you who doesn’t like me. I looked for you. But I couldn’t seem to find you. Honestly, I sort of expected to go and move in with you or something, you know.”

Albireo shrugged. “I don’t really have anything else to say, but…I suppose I was disappointed by you, honestly. It seemed at times that ah, you and I had something between us. Unless, well. Unless all of those sloppy, steamy make out sessions were just…a fluke or something. If so, then please, forget my rudeness and my assumptions.”

The captain sighed softly. "No, that's not the reason I vanished. I... would have done something stupid had I not spent the time that I had in the Rift. I needed to find a source of closure, and I did," he said in rather vague terms on the matter. He barked a laugh when she said she was disappointed in him. "Everyone seems to be, sweetheart. And those times where not a fluke; I apologize for abandoning you as I did." He turned to face her, grey eyes muted. She still insisted on those infirnal hair loops didn't she? Honestly...

"I am happy that you've found the truth. My actions were inexcusable, I realize." He bowed low at the waist, his pony tail of hair dropping over his shoulder. "You may, if you wish, punish me. I swear, however, that I will protect you from now on. If you wish it of course."

She shook her head, trying to smile, her green eyes lighting with some bit of mischief. “I don’t really need much protecting…and yes. I’m happy that I finally know what I need and want to do.” She reached out a black gloved hand and placed it against Jarosite’s cheek, “What has gotten you so troubled? What’s wrong, Jaro…?”

Her voice softened and she looked at least slightly concerned for the Captain. “We don’t have to keep secrets from one another now, right…I mean. We’re fighting for the same cause. We’re on the same side now. I’m willing to…I don’t know. Try and make our strange…uh. Passionate flings into something more permanent if you would like it to be…” For being so confident a moment before, Albireo was suddenly rather hesitant. This was something rather big, after all.

A real bit of stability in her life…that was pretty stable as it was, at the very least, but this would be something she could look forward to…maybe both in and out of her time powered up. She really hoped that she could get something in her civilian life that would make it at least a little worthwhile. Right now it was just a mess of…well. Of nothing really.

He looked down at her for a moment and sighed. It was a heavy movement of his shoulders, a small popping sound coming from his neck. He reached up with his hand and touched hers. "It's..." He moved his hand to her hair, gently tugging on a loop.

"Someone I deeply cared about, that I thought was outside of all of this, died. When I realized why... my rage was somethign to rival the General-King's. I've found my solice though, so do not worry my little Swan," he said with a small smile. He mused her hair gently. Albireo was still Albireo, though with more... something to her now. Perhaps a lack of fear at herself or her purpose in life now. He was unsure, but he was glad she seemed happy.

"You've decided on a civilian alias and a place to stay, yet? Probably, since its been... quite some time," he chuckled half heartedly, rubbing his neck. Jarosite was never this... awkward.

She shook her head when he tugged at her hair loop. Some things really wouldn’t ever change, would they? Albireo nodded. “My name’s Nina…and I was told it was you who suggested it. I like it, it’s pretty…but. A place to stay…I’m working on it. Right now I’m staying at the house of another corrupted Senshi who is kind enough to let me stay with him.”

She stuck out her tongue, then laughed. “But, I’m waiting on a more permanent place to stay. The Dark Mirror Senshi, Remarque, he said that he has a prospective roommate for me, so I’m waiting on that, but I don’t think it should be too terribly much longer. I really…can’t wait to get settled in that life…”

The first real unhappy look crossed Albireo’s face, if only for a moment. “I just…want something to really start going home to, you know? I don’t…have anything in my civilian life right now, and I’m okay with that, really. But…it kind of sucks too, really. I’d like to have a home.”

He frowned at the unhappy look and nuzzled her cheek affectionately. "Well, I'll help alright? I've got extra space in my apartment if you'd rather crash with me. Its sorta barebones and full of trash, but I can clean it and get another bed for you, if you want," he said to her encouragingly. The Captain wouldn't force it one her, though he did think the idea was a good one. He'd definately have to clean up the place though. And probably deoderize it.

He smiled at her and mused her loops again. "Or you can live with your fellow Corrupteds. Either is quite alright with me, m'dear."

“We’ll see what happens, Jarosite. I’m still…not sure I quite forgive you for just…I don’t know….abandoning me, I guess. But. I’m a forgiving person. We can see if we get along.” She gave a little smile. “You and your damn obsession with my hair loops, I swear. What is it that you like about them? Crazy boy.”

She moved her hand up to swat his away, and seemed to change her mind when she touched his hand, grabbing his instead and holding it tightly. “I mean. I’ll talk to Remarque and stuff. It might be good to stay with some other people for a while, you know. Just because. Then you and I can meet outside of being all dolled up like this. Maybe we’ll get along there, do you think?”

There was a little bit of hope in her voice as she said this, clearly it did sound like at least somewhat of a good idea. “…But that means your apartment should be clean all the time now. Just in case I decide to come over or something. I don’t like dirty things. And if It smells. Yup. Then you’re totally out of the running, Jaro.”

The Captain chuckled loudly and patted her head. "Yes, yes I'll clean it. And that's perfectly alright if you wanna live else where. It was simply a suggestion." He smiled at her and winked. "And of course we can meet out of all this get up. I mean, who wants the entire White Mooners know where you are just for a little chit-chat."

Jarosite glanced around, just in case. No need for any of those people to jump out and attack them now (even thought Alberieo would probably hold them off better as it was) when they'd reunited. Probably would be his luck though. It seemed they were safe however.

“Well good. Then, we’ll have to plan some time to meet, okay?” She smiled broadly. “I’m excited for this to happen. It’ll be awesome I hope.” Albireo gave a large yawn then and laughed. “Eh. I should be getting back uh…home, I guess. I’m kind of exhausted. You know. This being a hobo is pretty difficult work, honestly.”

She leaned forward, giving the Captain a hug then pulled away. “I’ll see you soon, I’m sure. And I hope. Don’t go disappearing again for a long period of time, or I swear I’ll kick you. Right in the crotch. I don’t even care if we’re on the same side now. I will kick you. Got it?”

The corrupted eternal winked, then jumped off the building, landing lightly, her ribbons trailing behind her making her look even more graceful than she could have imagined. It had been good to see Jarosite again, good to clear the air. Now if he would only stay where she could keep in contact, that would be a very good thing indeed.

His eyes widened and he grinned at her. "Of course, m'dear. I shant leave you ever again." He watched her vanish off the building. That had been a good encounter, one that made him pleased to see how the next turned out.

And hopefully there would be many, many more meetings. And lots of fighting against the White Mooners. Yes. He teleported onto his fire escape and powered down. Time for some intense cleaning.
