Jaromila was pacing back and forth in her family home, looking really nervous about this meeting. She shouldn't be, but she had never met anyone that could be connected to the king. She was sure she had heard Serenity was bonded with one of the king's nobles, so that meant she and her chosen knew the king, probably very well.

"Mama, what if I do something stupid or make a fool of myself?"Mila asked her mother.

Michiko chuckled and went over to her worried sick daughter, preening her mane and making sure she looked pretty for this meeting. "Just be yourself, Mila... They will love you as much as I and your father do. You shouldn't worry so." She smiled kindly and lovingly at her daughter.

Asti rolled her eyes at her sister's nervousness and sidled over to her and their mama, her mind instantly going into teasing mode like the typical sister she was. "Mila's got a booooyyyyfrieeeend..." She began the chant, looking around to see if Naomi or Sugar would join in.

Rogan overheard his neice asking Serenity a question and went over to her, crouching down a bit so he was closer to her height. "its gonna be sooooo much fun." He grinned, his eyes glinting with mischeif. Being around all of his sister's children made him feel like an energetic young colt again, and he was known to go off and play games with them when he wasn't busy patrolling or helping Dea. For a dignified and vain stallion such as he, it was a great change from his normal behavior that he wasn't sure his sister and brother had gotten used to yet.

Kalyani grinned as she watched Beta tease the unusually nervous Haides. She sidled up to her mother's side and ducked her head into Serenity's shoulder. "I've never seen him so antsy, Momma," the filly said softly. "Beta will be nice, won't she?" Kalyani knew her sister wouldn't be deliberately mean, but the other filly loved teasing Haides so much, and Haides didn't seem in the mood for teasing today.

Serenity could see her son was nervous about this meeting and she reached over and nuzzled him affectionately.

"It will be alright, Haides, this is just a little meeting, it isn't the end of the world. Take a deep breath and remember that we are all here with you,"Serenity comforted. Serenity nodded to Beta, to agree with her about it being fine, then smiled seeing Rogan. She had seen how her brother had changed since his bonding to Dea. It seemed he had become a much better Azrein and she was so happy.

"Yes, Kalyani, Beta will be nice, she is just being her usual self. And Haides will be fine, this is just a very important meeting for him because he is meeting his friend's family,"Serenity replied. She noticed Thrama looking at the clouds and she whinnied over to her to come join the rest of them. Then she noticed a young filly approach and she had a questioning look in her eyes.

"Hello, is there something we can help you with?"Serenity asked.


Varteres was watching the family, smiling at seeing how happy everyone was. Dea stood at his side, wondering what this meeting was going to be like.

"What do you think of all this, Dea?"Varteres asked.

"I think it is a chance to meet others and to relax as a family,"Dea replied.

"Yes, I think you are right,"the blue stallion nodded with a smile.

Rosangela walked up beside Dea and looked at everyone gathered.

"Dea, do you think Mama is nervous about meeting a new family?"Rosa asked gently.

"I know she is, but she also is holding it together for everyone,"Dea explained.

Asti fell over as her sister tumbled into her, knocking them both to the ground in a mix of giggles and laughs.

Michiko gasped in horror as the two youngest decided to roughhouse. "Asti! Naomi! Get up this instant!" She shrieked, thinking of how much of a horrible herd of hooligans her babies would look when meeting complete strangers. She hurried over to Asti and Naomi and began putting their manes back in order.

Rogan laughed at his young nephew's glare and rolled his eyes, turning back to Beta and watching her interact with the other foal. Deciding he was acting enough like a colt for now, he returned to Dea's side, pressing himself up against her in a loving manner as he turned to his sister. "Var... at this rate we wont ever need to have kids... Serenity has enough for all of us." He joked.

Thramachat's thoughts were broken by the familiar calling of the one who she called 'mama'. Happily trotting around the group, she amusingly chased a butterfly until she crashed into a stranger that she didn't know. She was very decorative too, with feathers and jewlery, but was she nice too? "I'm.. I'mm. I'm sorry!" she squeaked, eyes trembling, looking up to the mare, fixing the other two foals' manes back into order.

Kagayaku backed away a bit, not knowing what to do next. She was here now, so why did this feel much more different than she expected? "My ma and da would you you to watch over me." she replied to the much older azrein who seemed to be a mother to most of these foals? And what about the other adults here? Who were they?

Blinking, her attention was directed once again to Beta and then casted a look to Haides. Best friends.. this one sounded friendly to her. "Can I umm.. be your best friend too?" she asked indirectly to either Beta or Haides.

Kagyaku smiled, glad to finally have some friends, though she was still a little iffy about the sister part. 'So is there a dad too?" she asked, wondering if the stallion was too part of the family.

Beta burst into a fit of giggles. "Papa! You're being silly!" She smiled at Kagayaku. "This is Papa." Looking up, she continued her introductions. "And this is Mama, and next to Haides is our sister Kalyani and... um... Mama, where'd Thramachat go?" She'd been there a minute ago...

Haides moved away from Serenity and Kalyani at Beta's question, trotting to where their adopted sister had been. He didn't call out; he simply scanned the area with his bright blue eyes while he tried not to fidget.
