Name:Hekate
Age:17
Gender: female
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Craft/Rank: Drudge/Candidate
History: Hekate was born to a thief of a father and a less then respectful ex-harper apprentice mother. Hekate's mother when she became pregnant with Hekate's after a lay during a gather was sent from the hall in disgrace. Unable to return home in shame her mother began wandering with the Trader's playing her tunes and plying what skills she had until Hekate was born. When Hekate turned five turns old her mother came across her no good thief of a holdless father and in a fury both at stubborn father and fiery daughter pawned the young girl off on the poor man and abandoned the two to their fates. Surprisingly Serom Hekate's father didn't just leave the child to the wilderness or the streets, perhaps seeing himself in the young girl's face, and took the young child under his wing. From then on Hekate followed her father everywhere living among the Holdless camps and attending gather, hold, and the like helping her father steal, con, and gamble what money they had in hopes of eeking out a better living. Serom soon found his daughter to be an excellent distraction teaching the girl how to cry, act, flirt, or play lost while her father nicked the purse of whatever unsuspecting holder was attending the child. As Hekate grew older her old man began to teach her the tricks of his trade and soon the youth was a fair hand when it came to picking locks, card tricks, gambling, thieving, and being up to general no good. Coming into her womanhood early Hekate picked up the art of dancing from a fellow Holdless woman and paired with a knife hidden beneath her skirt to ward off unwelcome attention she soon took to street performing to earn extra coin on the sly. Hoping to one day lose her less then respectable background and become more then just a street rat Hekate took to saving her coin and breaking from her father's side she struck out on her own to try and start a more respectable life working as a hold drudge at Ista hold. All the while staring enviously skyward at the bright flashes of color that were the dragons of Ista, dreaming of what life would be like without having to worry about where her meal would come from one day to the next. Dreaming of what it would be like to ride on the back of one of those great beasts.
Description: Standing at 5'4 with tanned olive skin covered with a rich decoration of freckles speckling an hour glass figure Hekate is a girl gifted with the early onset of a woman's figure. Her waist is well tapered with comely hips and a rather well off chest for her size usually made to look larger with the help of a corset when dancing to draw a careless man's eye while nimble and dainty fingers snag his belt pouch. Her hair is a bright startling red cut short to help deal with the southern heat and show of a tapering neck. Her face is nicely framed with the roguish quirk of a smile always playing along this woman's lips and a knife scar under her left eyes matching one along her collarbone from a fight with a over persistent holder. She has rich amber eyes made more prominent by the orange yellow eyeshadow she tends to wear when. She likes to keep her ears pierced and usually wears three copper studs in them at all times.
Personality: Vain, impatient, fiery, tricky, clever, unconventional, and driven by wanderlust are a few good ways to describe Hekate. Hekate is a child of the road and the world and goes through life like a fire blazing and whirling with a lust for travel. The dirty, dark, and less then pleasant side of Pern are no secret to her and she's not new to the harshness of life as a Holdless. Hekate prefers to combat this by living in the moment. She tends to be vain taking great care to keep her appearance. She holds to the idea that just because she is a drudge doesn't mean she has to always dress like one. Specially as a former street dancer her looks are one of her greatest assets when it comes to distraction and trying to coax people to see things her way. Hekate is a woman who wants things now and dislikes having to wait, she has a very spontaneous and kinetic outlook on life. Preferring to force situations to be to her liking through trickery, bribery, or hard work rather then sitting around and waiting for something to happen. Born under a wandering star she hates being confined to hall, hold, or caravan for long and the longer she's stuck somewhere with no outlet for her frustration the more her quick temper comes out. This has become a more prominent problem as she's begun to try and force herself to stay put and build a new life. She hates to be cornered and can't stand small enclosed spaces with lot's of people. Hekate has a very harsh view of men, having had to dissuade a few unpleasant suitors herself in her time. She feels she can do anything they can and more and tends to be quick of tongue and quicker of fist in fights involving them. Hekate refuses to respect those who have not earned it and will lash out at anyone who expects her to be some tame little holder wife. She isn't all fire and vanity though and Hekate can make very pleasant and interesting company with her quick wit, roguish smile, and large stash of interesting tales and funny stories. She loves games of chance and tricks and can often be found doing them for young children. Beneath her less then honorable exterior hides a surprisingly strong moral core. Hekate is a girl born into unfortunate circumstances that has striven to make the best of them and despite having to fight dirty she's known to pull her punches. She's very fond of young children and the elderly and is surprisingly known to play the white knight on numerous occasions being unafraid to throw herself into a fray in an attempt to snatch a child from the midst of danger. Hekate loves life, but she doesn't view her own very highly and feels that if it's for the greater good she would not mind giving it up to see too it that others survived. She's very taken with the tales of brave and honorable dragonriders and wishes she could claim some of the same esteem and honor.

Hekate vanity means she likes things, nice things, things she can't really get with a drudges or candidate's salary. This often pushes her to work extra shifts and jobs on the side or occasionally take back up street preforming for some extra marks to afford her expensive tastes. Then what she does save up she usually splurges on looking nice in an attempt to 'fake it till she makes it.' Because of this, this girl is almost always broke. Her impatience makes Hekate prone to wanting to take short-cuts. Oh true she's willing to work and work hard, but if things don't go her way there's always this little voice in the back of her head telling her how much easier it would be to just nick that holder's fat purse then work up to her elbows in dirty dish water. After all she wants to live a glorious life, but power is something you have to work for, not something that's just handed to you. Hekate hates being late or being forced to wait and tends to be snappy and ill-tempered when kept waiting. In her eyes tardiness can get you killed. A mark of a good heist is the proper timing and though she's attempting to walk the straight and narrow Hekate's very aware of the clock ticking. When she herself is late Hekate is prone to panic attacks and tends to get everything done early just to avoid the stress or even the slightest possibility of being late. Yet more often then not her attention to her own personal beauty leaves her pushing the clock.

Talents:Good at card tricks, slight of hands, lock picking and a variety of other untoward skills involving knives.

Other: She's Claustrophobic.

Name: Comateth
Color: Blue
Size: Larger than average
Impresse: Hekate

Personality: Comateth is an angry dragon, flying into a rage over the smallest insult or mishap. He seems full of a rage and it will be his rider's duty to keep him in check. This blue thinks of most everyone he meets as weak unless they prove themselves otherwise. The task of winning Comateth's respect seems nearly impossible, this is a dragon that values strength and suffering over all else. He has no time for pampered weaklings that have never known the bite of physical pain and stand before him with their scarless skin. Believing that the only way to piece is brute force and violence this dragon has no head for political tact and will insult a bronze in flight if he does not believe the male to be pulling his own weight. Still Comateth is not a cruel dragon, he doesn't set out to hurt people, he just expects them to understand the harshness of life.

A military mind makes Comateth exceptionally skilled in threadfall. This is a blue that could easily lead a wing, though only the bravest of the brave and fiercest of the strong would even be considered to fight at his side. Savage in flight Comateth fights every fall as though it were his last, searing a trail through the sky and never letting a single strand escape him. He lives for the battle, he is almost insatiable in it. Seeming to even regret a falls end at times.

When it comes to greens Comateth will fly requently. What green wouldn't want to be caught by a dragon as skilled in battle as himself. Bizarrely there are greens that will be taken in by his talent and those will be the ones he chooses. Not to boost his own ego, simply because those greens clearly understand strength. However it is unlikely that Comateth will ever choose a mate. Unless he were to find a green as strong and without fear as himself.

Hekate earned Comateth's respect before he had even cracked shell. He saw her strength, her resolve, her bravery and knew she was the only one for him. She understands the need to endure, she is not so foolish to believe that she is untouchable. Hekate is his strongest ally, nobody will ever be higher in his estimations than her. They will fly into battle together, flaming all the way. Forever.

Impression: Based on Ares/Mars, the god of War and an agricultural guardian. Comateth comes from the word combat.

The Deceitful Bronze
Name: King
This bronze is a born charmer, knowing just the right look and sound to make hearts melt in his favour. He is terribly intelligent, more so than the average of his colour. This firelizard always has a plan to suit his own needs. This bronze is a schemer thinking up nefarious plans to get what he wants. His downfall however is that he is dreadfully envious of anything. That green has a pretty thing, he should have it he is far better or that brown that can fly faster, he should be gotten rid of so there is no competition. The bronze is likely to sit, stewing in his own seething rage where no-one can see, as his mind boils with plans of how he can outwit those that would seek to have better or do better than him
Based on: The Rat

The Rebellious Green
Name:Spitfire
Born to be free, this green can never be contained, she is wild through and through. Nothing will ever stop this green from pursuing her wants. There is no limit that she will not challenge, no restraint she will not break. She was born to do it all. A daring creature she will try anything, even the things she shouldn’t. This will come back to bite her though, her reckless nature putting the green in dangerous situations she will sometimes need a loving hand to get her out of. And it is that loving hand that this firelizard truly adores. She is endlessly affectionate to the one she chose, when she is not having an adventure that is. She loves them very dearly and hopes that they never forget it.
Based on: The Tiger
