As Kytti walked around the city, she took in the sights and sounds. Even being in the city for over a month, it was always exciting for her. The smells of the bakeries always assaulted her nose as the sweet scents bombard her senses. Walking to one in particular, Kytti purchases a small snack for herself, and a special pokemon treat in the shape of a heart for her Deerling. "Here you go girl, special snack for you," Kytti said happily. Willow nibbled a bit, testing the taste. After a happy bleat, she quickly finished off her treat and pranced about happily. "That's my Girl!" Kytti exclaimed and ruffled Willow's hair playfully, "Let's see what else we can get around here." They continued to walk around, savoring the smells of the fresh breads being cooked, the delicately frosted pastries on display, and many other foods beyond her imagination. She continued to scan the city, watching the cars prattle by. After a while, she had filled her backpack with a variety of foods for both her and her Deerling, and walked to a nearby bench to watch the city unfold before her.

“Silo! Seriously dude,” River lamented in a whiny pitch, thin arms pushed the heavily feathered murkrow away from her chest with annoyance. The croon of disappointment hung in the air for a few moments as the redhead simply shook her head and rolled her icy blue hues, regardless of how clingy the stitch patterned darkness pokémon was River could never find it in her heart to send him to his capture device. “just stop playing with my piercings, okay handsome?” A noisy exhale escaped from the tomboy’s lips as she cradled the lean framed beast against her abdomen and adjusted her footing with the added weight.
Shifting Silo onto her narrow shoulders the thin-figured nineteen-year-old slipped through the crowded sidewalks and made her way into the heart of the shopping plaza. Just like any city everyone was concerned with their own lives and were far too caught up in their own doings to even give the trainer a second glance. The shops of the town were less than exotic to her taste and yet the areas that held the bakeries and confectionaries still seemed to be of a higher standard, food was one of two things, really good, or really bad. It didn’t matter if it was a cookie or some froufrou delight that took three weeks to prepare, if it was edible then it was worthy of her attention.
Screeching to a halt clear, cold azure eyes threw a haphazard glance to her side. Electric cotton-candy blue hair cascaded down feminine shoulders and draped along the soft curve of the unknown female’s chest. “Eeeeeeh!” Snapping her attention forward River brought her left hand up and dragged it across her face. A cutie was just sitting on a bench in the middle of the city, all alone, by the looks of things and the deerling next to her it was easy to tell that she was a trainer or perhaps a breeder. She had a few options, give her back to the girl and enter the nearest shop or march up to her and challenge her to a battle.
“Rooor rooo?” Softly inquired Silo, leaning down the darkly colored brute nuzzled his scissor like beak along her cheek affectionately. Shooting his fiery red stare towards the female across the street Silo puffed up his silken plumage and let out a loud threatening caw.
“Dammit! Would you stop doing that!” River scolded in a harsh voice, he was jealous of females and even more so of other pokémon. Reaching up the slim built redhead grappled onto the strong darkness type before he had the chance to try anything stupid. “Bad, boy! Bad. For f*ck sake Silo! RETURN. . . ugh.” Bitterly the girl snapped his red and white pokeball from her belt loop and triggered the button to summon him back into the confines of the capture device. “Awkward---“ Rubbing the back of her neck she gave a short wave to the girl with blue hair, Silo had ruined her chance to be subtle, her only option now was---
RUN AWAY!
Darting into the shop behind her River grumbled under her breath and made her way to the rear of the store all the while her gaze through the window remained on the tall drink of water that remained outside.

Kytti watched with happiness as she saw the small quarrel with the murkrow and what she presumed to be her trainer. Once the small pokeball item appeared it was solidified into her memory. "I wonder why she ran?" Kytti thought to herself and got up slowly. She smiled to her Deerling and asked gently, "Let's go see who that was and if she needs help." Kytti and the Deerling wander into the storefront that the redheaded beauty ran into. Looking around, she realized it was one of the bakeries she had entered earlier when the rotund shopkeeper asked Kytti in a soothing voice, "Anything I can do for you Ma'am?" "No Ma'am, just looking around, thank you though." Kytti responded sweetly. After a bit of a walk around the store, that looked much larger on the inside that it did on the outside, Kytti stood by some confections that the smells teased her senses. "Maybe we should get some of these, don't you think Willow?" Kytti asked her Deerling softly. Willow bleated happily and nudged Kytti in the ribs softly, a sign she wanted the delicious smelling treat. Gathering a few in a bag, she takes them to the counter and pays for them and happily goes back to wandering the store aimlessly.

‘s**t! Is she following me?!’ Mentally River flustered, the blue haired youth and her deerling seemed to be headed into the shop that she had bolted into for refuge. Thin, nimble fingers pushed through the selections of treats that rested in front of her, candies and chocolates that seemed to be of gourmet quality.
The voice of the shopkeeper caught the redhead’s attention, raising a slender eyebrow the trainer continued to browse through the treats that littered and lined the shelves. Flicking her tongue along the silver loop at the edge of her lip nervously River scooped up a few of the more beautifully crafted pieces of sweets and spun on her heels. The hammering in her ribs knocked the breath out of her lungs and set her pale cheeks aflame, face to face with the unknown girl, their noses almost brushing together at the extremely close proximity. “Oh--- I am so freakin’ sorry, gorgeous.” Nervously squeaked the tomboy as she took in a breath and was greeted with the oxygen that she needed as well as the amazing aroma of the other teen.

After the small collision, Kytti turned and smiled at the slender framed redhead. "It's ok dear. Perhaps I should ask if you are ok," she directed towards the redheaded beauty. Kytti smiled at the girl, who looked a little older than she and wondered why she had come in here after her little altercation with her murkrow. "I saw you with your murkrow outside, he sure is lovely." Kytti stated sweetly, "Perhaps you would care to join me outside at the park, my dear Willow is itching to have some time to run around and play." Kytti asked while nodding to her Deerling.

“I’m fine,” her voice crackled oh so painfully as the girl addressed her in her saccharine tenor. Heat was spreading from the pit of her stomach and shooting down her pelvis and up her chest, continuously her heart panged against her breast and made her breath come in labored, erratic patterns. “Yeah, Silo is a really handsome boy. Ah---” Clearing her throat some the redhead took another step back and attempted to sooth the flushing from her cheeks and ears. “Let me just buy these things here and we can head out yeah?” Glancing down at the deerling River offered the little beast a tender albeit impish grin, it was really adorable up close. Shaking her head some the extremely thin-figured former dancer made her way to the clerk with her purchase, the checkout was without much idle prattle. The platinum credit card she used with her name boldly displaced across the bottom made the shop keeper increase that pace at which he worked, once the transaction was complete the man bid her farewell all too cheerfully.
Upon exiting the store River shifted the package of goods into the messenger bag at her hip, nibbling at the silver loop set on the left side of her lip the redhead held her gloved hand out towards the unknown girl. “River, River Kingston. It is a pleasure to meet you,” gregariously introduced the rather feminine tomboy, the flush on her alabaster cheeks fading some. “So the park huh? Lead the way, beautiful.”

"My name is Kytti.. Kytti Lightfoot, pleased to meet someone of your beauty." she responded to River, "To the park then? Willow lead the way to their favorite park, winding through the thoroughfare of the city streets, jungle of prattling cars, and throngs of people. Making their way down various streets, Kytti regaled River in some of her adventures and battles with Willow, as if this new girl was a long time friend."She is so easy to talk to, I can be myself, and I feel like I have known her forever" Kytti thought to herself. Once they got to the park, Kytti took our her blanket and layed it out on the grass, inviting River to sit with her. Taking a seat, she picked a blade of grass and let the warmth of the sun's ray absorb into her skin, feeling instantly relaxed. Her Deerling took off and ran about in the grass, rolling, jumping, and prancing about, bleating happily. "What brings you to Katarina, River?" Kytti asked.

The sentence that poured from the blue-haired girl known as Kytti made the tomboy fidget where she stood. River was a tease, a flirt, and a shameless skirt chaser however when the tables where even slightly turned against her all of her confidence flew out the window. Squaring her jaw the lithe-framed trainer followed behind the silver-tongued watcher. Tales and various stories came from Kytti as the two made their way to the recreational park elicited almost over the top reactions from the redhead, Kytti’s adventures compared to her own seemed so much more involved and accomplished, goal driven. Even her battle record made River’s pale in comparison yet the overly-thin trainer didn’t feel jealous, there was just something there that made her happy for the slightly younger girl.
Flopping down beside the blue-haired teen with an audible ‘Oof’ a sliver of hip and midriff revealed themselves as River stretched and arched her back while getting comfortable. Almost as if guided by instinct the nineteen-year old pushed her fingertips along her exposed stomach until her long, elegant digits slipped to her belt and idly pressed the release buttons on three separate pokeballs. One by one her trio came into view, Snuffles the psyduck, Lookit the zubat, and Silo the jackass murkrow. Instantly the three swarmed their trainer, dog piling on her trim frame and draping themselves over her legs affectionately.
Giggling River ran her hands across the various wings and tummies of her babies before addressing Kytti. “Escaping,” she stated simply yet held a broad grin across her face. “I used to be a dancer, the spot light got a bit too much for me so I wanted to follow my own dreams, don’t get me wrong I loved dancing but I’ve always wanted to be a trainer. Ha! But if you mean what brings me to the city, nothing really. Just wandering around, I’ve been looking for challenges and just training my gang here. I’m actually a really shitty trainer.”

Kytti smiled at the pokemon as they jumped on their trainer. "They are such amazing pokemon" she thought to herself. "Escaping eh? I know of other ways to escape and reinvent yourself." Kytti replied to River, "And if you relationship with your pokemon is like that all the time, then there is no way you could be such a bad trainer. I bet you are an amazing trainer!" Kytti smiled and took in the sights of pokemon at play, some just relaxing with trainers, and the occasional wild pokemon popping their heads out of the leaves in the trees, holes burrowed into the trees, or mounds of dirt. She always enjoyed coming here and relaxing. She reached into her bag and plucked out a cookie and tossed one to Willow, "Here you go Girl!" Willow nibbled the treat at first, then after a bite or two hit her taste buds, she finished it off, bleated happily and ran off to play for a bit, running in between trees, hopping over unoccupied benches. Kytti looked towards River and smiled, "Would you be up for a bit of an adventure? I know a few places out here that we could let our pokemon free and be able to sit and chat. If you like fishing, I know of a lovely little hole that is secluded, granted I usually end up with only bites. I did once catch a few baby pokemon, but I released them back into the waters." Kytti smiled at River again, twirling a blade of grass between her fingers.

Thin digits snaked through long locks of crimson while she listened to what the other trainer was saying, rolling her shoulders some the slender teenager flicked her tongue over the silver loop at the edge of her bottom lip.
"I am a pretty bad trainer, I love my guys but I am too soft on them most of the time and when we are in battles I give them really bad commands. It is like everything I have ever learnt leaves my head." River explained nonchalantly with a shrug. In the back of her mind the long-haired tomboy couldn't help but internally swoon over the blue-headed youth in front of her, she needed to play it cool and not choke up.
Piercing azure hues widened when Kytti spoke, a slender eyebrow rose with curiosity then a slow spreading smile bloomed across her pale visage. "An adventure? I am always up for an adventure," pausing for a moment River let her voice drift into a whisper before clearing her throat and speaking up in a more firm tone. "Fishing sounds like it could be fun. Snuffles can dive in and see if there are any worth while pokemon under the surface of the water, if there aren't we could always go swimming instead."

"That sounds like a plan! Let's head off if everyone is ready!" replied Kytti happily. She started to pack up her things and Willow came up to her and nudged her side. "Yes Girl, you are coming to. We are going to Watcher's Spot, then off to the side trail like we usually do for fishing and swimming." Kytti told the Deerling happily. Willow bleated happily and pranced about. She went to River and softly nudged her side, hoping she would be coming to with all her friends.
(( Sorry this one is short, trying to figure out how to start to leave, but have to wait until you are ready to head out. ))
