It was Breytast Vindar, and it was time. It was his time to shine, to take his rightful and intended place as a Captain. He had waited and bided his time, learning who to trust and who to watch. He had learned his tough lessons from vikings, and come to terms with where he fit in the world. It was time to challenge for the right to be a Captain.

He strode up with a measured pace to Kondo. The brown and black lion was one of the many Captains, and was one Hroarr felt comfortable in his chances of beating. He was careful to not show any arrogance. He was not the Warlord's son here. He was a mere reaver, calling out one of the respected leaders of the pride, and he would treat that lion with respect, not scorn or mocking.

"Kondo, captain of one of the Warlord's bands," he called in a raised voice, so that others might hear and understand. He would make this no secret. Even if he did not win, there was honor in the trying. "I challenge you for the right of captaincy." The challenge had been made. How would the other male respond?
