He had the items now for operation: make Mitsu smile. Shun still couldn't really believe a part of this little mission he had set up for himself. But regardless, he was going to go through with it.
"I'm back, Mitsu," he announced before stepping inside. He had a few bags with him. Some of it was food, while the other was for his plan of action here.

While Shun had been away Mitsu had settled onto her couch to read a book, her eyes hardly taking in the words. She found herself reading the same line over and over before she finally absorbed it, her mind mostly elsewhere as her thoughts concentrated on her dream.
At least when Shun returned she perked up from her spot, setting the book aside so that she could get up and investigate what he had brought back. He said he was getting food but....was he getting enough food so that he didn't have to go out again for a while? Her small refrigerator couldn't hold much.
Pointing to the bags she gave him a questioning look.

Catching that questioning look, Shun glanced at the bags and shrugged a bit.
"I picked up a couple other things along the way. I'll show you later. But for now... are you hungry?" he asked while holding up the food bag in particular. If she wasn't hungry just yet, it could wait a little longer. Today he had picked up some hotdogs, and had even brought back a lemon tart for her for dessert.

Tilting her head curiously Mitsu looked toward the bags wondering what Shun had picked up. Maybe it was more tea or something along those lines? Shrugging it off for the time being Mitsu thought for a minute on food. Her appetite still wasn't the greatest but she seemed willing to eat more often than not. With a slight nod she indicated she would eat shuffling back toward the couch to have a seat waiting for Shun to join her.

Nodding, Shun moved over towards the couch and took out the food for them both. Passing Mitsu her hotdog, he glanced over at the book she had been reading a moment or so ago.
..
Hopefully it wasn't the same book he had gotten. That might be a little awkward.
"I brought some hotdogs. And a lemon tart," he said as he unwrapped his food.

Taking the hotdog Mitsu waited for Shun to get situated before she began to eat. A lemon tart sounded tasty! She was looking forward to that now and not so much the hotdog but continued to eat anyway. Shun might not let her have dessert if she didn't finish.
So that they weren't sitting in complete silence Mitsu grabbed for the laptop on the stand next to the couch. She kept it handy for conversations. 'Where did you go while you were out?' Came the computer's flat and emotionless tone.

Indeed. Shun would not let her have the tart until she finished her food. He was content to eat quietly with his love, but paused as he heard her 'speak' up with the laptop.
"I went to the mall. I ran into Hel along the way," he said before pausing, "She's no longer split toned. She's now dark skinned all over."

Mitsu paused in eating, her brows furrowed in concern before she began to type again. She hadn't seen Hel since before their 'adventure' to the haunted house. She missed the Valkyrie but had been too nervous to leave her room to go see her.
'Is she okay? Did something happen?'

"She seems to be fine. The split tone was a result of a curse, but apparently it was only a visual thing. She feels no differently. Just appears different," Shun stated before taking another bite of his hotdog, "By the way, she wishes you well and plans on visiting in the near future."
Nodding, he paused for a moment.
"Would you like something to drink? I can heat up some tea. Also how is your hot dog?"

The change was still a concern but at least it didn't seem to affect Hel beyond physical appearance. Mitsu would have to be sure to visit her....as soon as she could build up the courage to go outside. At least if Hel decided to visit she could stay where it was safe.
Taking another bite of hot dog, Mitsu nodded to the offer of tea. As far as how good the hot dog was she made a gesture that said it was alright though what she mostly wanted was the lemon tart. She had finished about half of her hot dog maybe Shun would let her have it. Gesturing to the bags she gave him a questioning look before turning to the laptop. 'Lemon tart?'

Seeing the nod, Shun put down his food for the moment so he could go ahead and heat up the tea for them both. He hadn't bothered getting drinks outside as they would have been a hassle to carry with everything else most likely. Besides, they had better beverages here. While he did drink pop now and then, he was still largely a tea and water drinker.
Once that was done, he walked back with the two cups of tea, offering Mitsu hers. It was then that he caught her questioning look, followed by the question itself. Ah. His wolf did always enjoy her sweets. Thinking for a moment, he looked at the hotdog. It wasn't quite done yet.
"Two more bites. And then you can have the tart," he said. That should be a good compromise, right?

Mitsu made a slightly disappointed face before looking back to her hot dog. Suddenly it looked a mile long. Only two more bites though. Two more and she could have her treat! With a little hesitance she took another bite and continued to chew, watching carefully as Shun prepared the tea. She never prepared the tea herself but often watched carefully. The knowledge had proven useful at the festival. Who knew?
That bite swallowed Mitsu took a second smaller bite before placing the hot dog aside and holding out her hands ready for the lemon tart. She curled her fingers toward herself in a 'give me give me' fashion, her eyes looking eager.

A small, subtle smile crept onto Shun's features as he saw how eager Mitsu was for the lemon tart. After sipping his tea, he reached into the food bag and presented her the dessert.
"Alright, here you go."
Though, he didn't quite relinquish the tart right away. He leaned forth and gave the lycan a small kiss, then, let go of the tart.
"Enjoy," he said softly, then continued to finish his meal. Apart from the issues she had, this was still nice in a way. She was recovering, slowly, but she was definitely doing better than she had been when he first brought her back here. Even so... he wanted to make her happy.
That was why he had the.. other goods with him. Stowed away at the moment.
Waiting for the right moment.

Mitsu stared at Shun with a wide expectant gaze her eyes only getting larger as he finally present her with the lemon tart. A small smile broke through as she reached for the tart pausing when he didn't let it go right away. Tilting her head up she was going to give him a questioning gaze but instead was greeted with a kiss before he finally relinquished the tart. She savored the kiss, closing her eyes before he pulled away, her attention turning to the treat in her hand.
Slowly she turned the lemon tart as if unsure where to start. This side looked good but so did this one. Or maybe a bite here to start. It took Mitsu a couple of minutes before she finally settled on the best place and took a bite. It was so good! She ate slowly trying not to rush. It would be a shame for her treat to be gone so soon.

Shun could tell that she really enjoyed it, which caused his features to soften as he watched her eat the tart, savoring it. The way she reacted to these things was always rather endearing he felt and so he couldn't help but smile softly at her.
"Is it good?" he asked while sipping his tea. He had finished his hot dog, so he was just relaxing, drinking the warm and soothing tea now.
