Gerimiah was up to no good. Which meant he was enjoying himself. He had selected a house with dark windows, meaning the inhabitants were probably out for the night. The sun had only just set, the street lights had only just turned on. The night was still early and there was a good chance whoever lived here could be gone for a while yet. Now, while Gerimiah could have gone the usual route of entering through the basement, or a lower window, or even a front door...he had decided that was simply too common. Too boring.
When these folks got home he wanted them to be scratching their head with a WTF expression on their faces. For this very reason, he had climbed to the roof of the neighboring house. Using a strong nylon rope, he had created a tightrope line using the brick chimney's as anchors on either side. he was fortunate the houses were relatively close enough for him to be able to lasso his target houses stack. As skillfully as a squirrel, Gerimiah had scampered over the rope and to his targets house. After that? Well...when you live on the upper floor you rarely think to lock all your windows. it had only taken him a few minutes to find one ha could pry open...then the games began!
First stop...the kitchen! All this sneaking had gotten him in the mood for a little snack...he hoped these people stocked fresh cold cuts...

This was the type of day that was meant to be enjoyed. Things were going well with the company; Cain having reported back an all clear and Wolf having accomplished his task. And then there was the weather itself. Happily, Reyn deeply inhaled the crisp autumn air, savoring it before slowly releasing it. Out of all the season, the season of change was easily his favorite. One could almost say that there was a bounce in his lazed gate as he made his way towards his home.
At some point he would have to retrieve Vanilla from Cain, but for now, he fully intended to take advantage of the peace while it lasted. Giving a lazed twirl of his scythe, Reyn smirked and headed up the steps to his loft.

Gerimiah opened the fridge and browsed the contents. Tilting his head to one side he looked over the contents. Well... whoever lived here clearly liked cheese! Gerimiah helped himself to a glass of the milk in the fridge, then selected one of the cheeses that smelled more or less better then some of the others. Sipping the glass of milk, he began to wander through the house. The cheese was not...bad...though he could only take small nibbles as he turned his attention to his work.
Okay.... first things first... His eyes fell on some books...and scrolls? "Huh...bookish!" He said with a small degree of delight. He approached them, his cheese wedge set aside on a end table as he started to flip through the collection to see if they were organized or not.

Reyn had no reason to suspect that his home was currently invaded by a cheese nibbling deviant. Well, outside of the fact that there was a rope now connecting his building with the one next door, and that one of his windows was open when it had definitely been closed before. Security was tight in his home, or had been. Vanilla seemed to enjoy running around and unlocking things for no other reason than enjoy the clicking of the lock.
It could be nothing. Some circus daredevils might have decided to try a tightrope act between the two buildings, and Vanilla may have left thrown open the window after he'd closed it. Drumming his fingers along the handle of his scythe, he continued to eye that rope and open window.
Licking his fangs, Reyn allowed himself an annoyed scowled before softening his steps and climbing the rest of the way to his door. With the type of ease that came from years of practice, Reyn silently unlocked his door.

Hmmm... they were just...scattered everywhere it seemed. Well! Here was his first task! With a small grin upon his lips, Gerimiah began to sort the books and place them in alphabetical order. Whenever he came across a bookmark, he casually slipped it back a page. He was trying to be a vague annoyance... he wouldn't make someone completely lose their spot on purpose. Once he had the books in place, he took the scrolls and began to lay them on the floor. End to end, he started to make a little square design with the rolled up pieces of parchment.
He supposed he ought to have been stealing some money or something..but he had some milk...he was steadily working on the wedge of cheese...maybe he'd take a quick shower after this?

Pushing open the door just enough, Reyn slipped into the loft he called home and silently closed the door behind him. He cocked his head to the side and simply listened. The sound of paper shuffling drifted to his ears, but that didn't tell him much.
Slowly, Reyn crept out of the entry way, pausing to listen for movement around every corner. Briefly, he had given thought to leaving behind his scythe. It was more difficult to move with the weapon and remain quiet. With every move he had to insure that the long handle or blade didn't bump against anything. The thought had been banished. If things were to turn dirty, he wanted to be armed.

Normally...people made a bit more noise when they came home. The silence Reyn was so practiced at did not have any flaws. At least, not ones that Gerimiah's untrained ears would pick up. He continued his little task. Setting the scrolls out in their little design until he bored of that. He tucked one hand into his pocket as he nibbled more of the cheese. Damn....his mouth was getting a little dry now. Shaking his head some he glanced around the room while considering what next to do.... he picked at his shirt and gave a little sniff. The shower could wait a little....he had taken one last night after all. Though he supposed he could do with a cleaner shirt. "Heh." He huffed in amusement as he headed towards the windows of the room. He knelt down and carefully began to open each one...just a fingers width though...

Folded up scrolls and organized books were not what Reyn expected to find when he peered through the sitting room's doorway. This had to be the worst ransacking he'd ever witnessed. Perhaps he was mistaken. Maybe one of Vanilla's friends had escaped the mental wards to look for her and had managed to trace her here. Perhaps an OCD patient; Reyn gave the organized books a meaningful glance before turning his attention window opening.
What was it with him and attracting whack jobs?
Nonchalantly, Reyn slipped back around the corner and out of sight, letting his scythe rest against the walls as he crossed his arms. Now, how to handle this situation?

There... He was sure he had messed enough with this room to make the inhabitants quiet confused! Gerimiah turned and glanced at all the windows opened a crack. The books in their ordered state. The scrolls on the floor. Gerimiha was feeling rather satisfied now. He picked up the cheese and glass of milk he had set down, then headed towards the door of the room. Sipping at the milk to wash down the thick heavy feeling of cheese, he wouldn't give Reyn much time to consider what to do as he stepped out of the room...though..he did turn down the hall. With his back to Reyn he started to poke his nose into other rooms in search of more entertainment.

Reyn held his breath as Gerimiah entered the hallway, awaiting the moment when he would surely be noticed. When the male just continued on down the hallway, peeking into rooms like a curious kitten, Reyn allowed himself to breath once more. Cocking his head to the side, he simply watched. The expression on his face would clearly read boredom if anyone were to gaze upon it, but truly he was far from it.
The intruder seemed harmless enough, so for now, he was content to observe. Once the male picked a room, Reyn would act as a shadow and follow until either the intruder wised up and took notice, or Reyn simply grew bored. Either way, the scythe would be left behind. Reyn was confident that he would not be needing it.

Gerim cast his eyes into a few of the rooms, though they did not really catch his attention. When he came to Wolf's room though he took a step inside and glanced around. He inspected the room only with his eyes before heading directly to the dresser. Theft never was the main reason for his little illegal entries into homes. Still, it did tend to be a part of it. he had no interest in stealing anything that looked expensive or may have had some sort of value to the owner. That was why he always checked the 'feel' of the room. If the room had a lot of one color, or specific images, or even designs then he knew to leave anything alone that may have connections to that. His brows furrowed some as he pawed through the dresser. He'd just check and see if there was anything in his size here...it was nice having a change of cloths sometimes after all!
