Here shall be the home of the character profiles for the first of however many RPGs will end up in this forum. This post is for my introduction and all that rot and it will be home to well, this simple information. For now, the RP takes place sixth year of the Marauder's time period. We do not have a definate plot, just some wishy-washy round-about stuff.
Any profiles should be sent to me for approval. If your character is approved, I will notify you either through PM or if I forget, it will show up here. If after two days your character does not show up on the list and I have failed to PM and tell you why, feel free to PM and ask why.
The Announcement thread will notify everyone when we're ready to start the RP along with an actual RP thread on the board.
Anyways...I basically took the profile thing from the Slash guild because I am unimaginative and all that fun stuff and I hope Luny and HK don't mind. Also, your character's profile may be changed so as to prevent Mary-Sueism because I refuse to have them.

Simply put, this is the Marauder's sixth year at Hogwarts which, if you've been reading your Harry Potter books, doesn't really mean much here except all sixth years will be learning how to Apparate at some point in the year. The plot is rather ambiguous. We are starting this at King's Cross so remember your trunks, pets, brooms, and whatever else you may need at Hogwarts this year.

Ex-Professor Remus Lupin as Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore
Original character or book character: book character
Age: According to Jo, about 150
House: Gryffindor (but he is fair to all houses)
Powers and abilities: Headmaster of Hogwarts, defeated Grindelwald in 1945, rumored to be quite powerful, and admits to be clever.
Appearance: tall and thin with long auburn hair and beard peppered with white and sparkling blue eyes covered by half-moon spectacles.
Ailments: Because he is so clever, any mistakes he makes are significantly larger.
Notes: Dumbledore is extremely powerful. He is the overLord of the RP and can beat whatever magic you use against him. Dumbledore is also the only character who can do this, as he is not a charater, rather a device. Dumbledore will be used to announce what is going on, he enforces the rules when some one steps out of line, he pulls you to his office for a chat when you have to leave for vacation, and when you're being questioned or disiplined. In this RP, as with the Harry Potter Slash Guild's RP, Dumbledore is a mask for those running this RP.

Powers and abilites: an encyclopediac knowledge of dark magic and magical creatures
Appearance: brown hair cut shaggily, brown-gold eyes, and a tall rather thin build. He's not quite as tall as Sirius and James (the bastards), but he's getting there.
Ailments: lycanthrope, the tendancy to overthink every little thing
Notes: Um...quiet and unlikely to say much about the other Marauder's antics when he really should because of his fear of loosing his friends. Studious, he spend most of his time reading, though he has a fond love for novels over school books that he indulges whenever he chooses. He also as the knack for getting James and Sirius to shut up simply by raising his voice.

HKBlack as Sirius Orion Black
Age: 16
Powers and abilites: Dog Animagus, prankster, and a most charming smile.
Appearance: A bit taller than Remus, lean, black hair that he's attempting to grow out, and gray eyes.
Ailments: A bit reckless, he tends not to think about things first. He can be bored easily and has a jealous streak when it comes to his friends.
Notes: Despises the Dark Arts, people involved with the Dark Arts, and any one who reminds him of his family. He has the uncanny knack for attracting the attention of giggling girls but never returns the favor. He isn't sure what he's going to do with himself after graduation, but dreams of getting a motorbike.
Andatariel as Lily Evans
Age: 16
Powers and abilites: She's really good at charms and if you ask about a book in the hogwarts library she'll know where it should be!
Appearance: Lily has short red hair that has slight layers at the bottom with a half fringe, she has green almond-shaped eyes.
Ailments: None really, but she has slightly weak ankles and it hurts her to jump from large heights.
Notes: Lily loves books and is most likely to be found in the corner at the back of the library. She actually quite likes James but everytime he asks her out like he's conffering a favour it pisses her off. Lily doesn't judge people until she knows enough about them and is therefore perfectly pleasent to Slytherins and the like, until they call her a mud-blood, if they do this when James isn't there she 'forgets' her non-violence policy and slaps them.
Minerva_McGonagall as Minerva McGonagall
Age: Mid-fifties
Powers and abilites: Animagus (cat) and Professor of Transfigurations
Appearance: Long black hair usually worn up in a bun, square glasses, dark brown eyes, emerald green cloak and burgandy formal robes when not teaching. She also likes to wear tartan plaid.
Ailments: Very strict, she can be over-zealous when it comes to rule breaking and is known to expect too much, especially from her own house.
Notes: A Quidditch fan, she allowed Harry to play for the Gryffindor house team at eleven years of age. A stern and very dignified manner, she disapproves of letting one's hair down and she is rarely caught smiling.
ExProfessor Severus Snape as Peter Pettigrew
Age: 16
Powers and abilites:
Appearance: small for his age with brown hair and eyes
Ailments: Not a very good student, he just barely passed most of subjects.
Notes: A bit worshipful of James Potter, though he's starting to become a little less delusioned about James now.

Appearance: Messy black hair, dark hazel eyes, and glasses. Tall and skinny.
Ailments: Arrogant, over-confident, a bully, but fiercely loyal.
Notes: Infatuated with Lily Evans. Best friends are Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew. He is a Gryffindor Chaser and hates anything to do with the Dark Arts (despite hexing others)

Notes: Narcissa isn't afraid to use her looks to get things and she likes to flaunt her wealth, or rather, her father's wealth. She isn't as unkind as she likes to make out.

Maerenna as Alice Parker (eventually Alice Longbottom)
Age: 17
Powers and abilites: She's a good flier and excellent at Arithmancy!
Appearance: Alice has long dark brown hair, which she usually wears in a plait, and twinkly brown eyes, she has a round heart shaped face. She is about 5'2"
Ailments: Asthma. She gets hyper very very easily.
Notes: Alice has been going out with Frank since she met him, but his mother doesn't like her. She doesn't care too much, but she'd rather be not be disliked though. She cares about Frank and isn't going to let his mother interfere with that. She's one of Lily's friends but can be quite shy at first but once you get to know her she's very sweet. She also has a lollipop addiction.

Transvesticade as Alexander Gehenna
Age: 16
House: Slytherin
Powers and abilites: He's exceptionally good at Charms and Potions - though he's horrible at Defense Against the Dark Arts and Transfiguration.
Appearance: here
Ailments: He always walks with a tiny limp because of an injury that healed badly when he was a child. It doesn't bother him that much any more, but he does snap at people who comment about it.
Notes: Alexander is from an old Pureblooded family. He and his parents live in the countryside of England in their extensive manor and grounds. He's social enough to make a few friends, but has a habit of shunning many others. He works hard at his studies in order to please his parents, but with no real goal of his own. He's easily provoked and has a short temper.

Lycoris as Kennice Chant (aka Kenny or sometimes just Chant)
Age: 16
Powers and abilites: typical witchly abilities, excels in Ancient Runes, but comes up short in Charms. She's slightly above average when it comes to performing magic in general.
Appearance: Kennice is of average height and build. Her auburn hair is short and usually just a tad tousled with layers, the longest of which falls just about an inch above the collar of her shirt. Her skin tone is fair as are her facial features. Her eyes are large and blue, and they usually contain a sparkle of mischief (though that want of mischief is rarely acted upon). Her nose is small but works with her face and her mouth is almost always curved in a soft smile.
Ailments: allergic to fluxweed and knotgrass (which makes potions class a right problem)
Notes: Kennice doesn't particularly support the rivalries between houses, but she'll hex a Slytherin or two if the need arises. She's quiet, but not shy, associating with people of many different houses. She enjoys school and is often found in the library studying for the next charms test or reading a favorite book. Her cat, Peaches, is occasionally seen roaming the halls but prefers to spend the day snoozing on Kennice's four poster. Kennice enjoys quidditch but her studies always come first, so she agreed to be a reserve chaser on the Ravenclaw team. She doesn't follow trends, prefering to pick her own clothing style and attitude.

Ciryature as Adam Thompson (nickname: Jean *its his middle name*)
Age: 16
Powers and abilites: He's good at herbology and a Hufflepuff quidditch chaser.
Appearance: Brown hair thats usually messy and unkempt, he's got big green eyes, and is about 5'9", lean but toned from quidditch
Ailments: He has no known ailments
Notes: Jean is usually an all around good guy, friendly, cracks jokes at anything he can. Not the brightest crayon in the box but he makes up for it in personality and ability on the broom. He's not very good at casting spells either, being better at making potions and taking care of plants.
Hakyo as Mattias Henwood
Age: 16
Powers and abilites: very apt at casting spells, especially dangerous or harmful ones.
Appearance: dark, somewhat untidy hair, grey eyes, medium height
Ailments: Sadistic
Notes: Is planning to become a Death Eater
