Tinuviel trotted through the forest, happier than she'd been in a long time. It had been a while since the accident, and her physical scars had healed - not a mark was left on her shoulders. She was ready to return to foalhood; she didn't want to worry about skinwalkers anymore. And so she was running through the forest, long-encapsulated glee bubbling up through her. She knew she was making far too much noise - she'd been taught better, but all Tin wanted to do was sing and play and dance.
So she did - she splashed in a stream, frolicked with a rabble of butterflies, and danced around in a meadow to the swaying of wildflowers. Her parents would find her soon enough, and she wanted to have as much fun as she could before returning to gloominess while they worked on healing her brother's emotional scars. By the time the sun had risen well into the sky, they hadn't found her hiding place - a stand of pretty birch trees - and she was beginning to get hungry.
Beginning to work her way back toward home, Tin hunted for berries. She loved the wild blackberries, but they were small and hard to find. Huckleberries were easier to find, since they grew on big bushes, but they were so tiny that they were hardly substantial. Huffing, she laid down and made a face. Grass was boring to eat, and daisies and dandelions didn't taste all that great. Wondering what she could eat that wouldn't poison her, Tinuviel searched around for a solution to her dilemma.

Yggdrasil was exhausted. He'd been traveling non-stop for a day now. Were he younger, it might not have bothered him so much but age and extra weight slowed him down and forced him to stop and rest. Spread out under a large tree, shaded from the heat; his body pressed against the cool trunk, he breathed heavily and tried to catch his breath.
Eyes closing, he drifted into a light sleep, snoring softly. The tree on his back rose with each breath, the leaves and berries shaking in a light breeze that rolled past. He was so peaceful, so still and so relieved.Mahogany Sunset Sorry it's so late. Stupid assignments. X_X; And sorry it's so short; i'll do a bigger one when she tries to nom him. <333

From a long way off, Tinuviel heard the snoring, but she couldn't be sure what it was... So she followed it. It wasn't necessarily her best idea ever, but it was certainly more interesting than wandering around and looking for something to eat. Besides, aside from the purewalkers, Tin still had yet to find a threatening presence in the forest.
Sneaking up on the tree, she found that whoever was sleeping was on the other side of it - but from what she could see, her stealth had been fruitful. Literally. From here, it appeared that the tree had a sapling or something growing out of it with bell-shaped, golden fruit. Tinuviel used her quiet, Cerynei nature to her advantage, and got even closer.
The fruit smelled heavenly. Opening her mouth, Tin was glad she was downwind as a breeze ruffled her short, fluffy hair. Stretching her neck, she attempted to grasp the fruit in her mouth... Gah, sorry for the lateness! gonk
