Ajani decided to take a break from all the training he had done all day as he lay down underneath the shade of a tree that grew beside him. He felt utterly tired and weak as he lay there, breathing deeply with eyes looking around. This was probably the only moment he had ever taken a break from training—trying to impress his Mother, to prove to her and his siblings that he wasn’t a weakling or anything of that sort. Even as a little cub he was preparing himself to become the greatest lion he could accomplish to be. He would be there; right in front row to soak up the information his Mother would share. It was no fun and games for Ajani when he was a cub and even now.
A yawn escaped from his vocals as he sprawled his limbs out for a stretch. He knew that if he rested any more than he would become lazy—not wanting to do anything for the rest of the idea. Even though, deep down that did sound like a great idea…he just couldn’t do it. The young male stood up and brushed his coat before hurrying to see his Mother.

Aviana was a strict mother. She was up before the African sun even began to peak over the horizon and was awake well into the night. Of course a majority of that time was out hunting or watching over the youthful bundles of fur that were her children. Providing for four mouths, plus hers was a daunting task for the single mother but of course she never backed down. At the moment though it was part of her off-time as Aviana could be found lounging underneath an umbrella thorn tree not far from where the family made their den for the time being. With the sun just beginning to drift back down to the horizon to set for the day, it was no wonder that she was trying to stay cool in the African flora's shade before going off to try and provide a meal for her growing cubs.
The lioness yawned, rolling herself over onto her other side as her blue eyes slid closed. Aviana knew it was only a matter of time before one of her four cubs came over to bother her about something but at least until then she could try and get some kind of rest in.
