Since it doesn't seem like there's much action going on here, and I get the feeling that most (if not all) of the peope in this guild love this game. Feel free to talk about whatever concerning this game.
I've had the game since a few weeks after it came out, so you could call me a vetran. I use Link most of the time and I dabble with Kirby when I'm bored. The only advanced tactics I use are teching and short hops. I've never been to any tournaments, though I want to, and I don't call myself really good at this game, like Ken. The only time I really get some real action is when I can pry my best friend away from his girlfriend to play me for a couple hours or so.
Well, that's me and melee in a nut shell, how about you?

As far as people I used to use, Roy was my main from when I got him for about a year, then I switched to Falco for about the same amount of time, and then I just went to Link and he's been good to me.
And no, I don't understand that expression.

My friend uses Samus, and I feel that Link stands a really good chance against her, and actually, he does, even though I lose most of the time.
...I've been having a feeling for a time that I'm actually the better player because of all the stuff I can do. But as far as teirs go, a really good Link is about equal to a moderately good Samus. Although, I have to admit, he's got some skill with that iron clad babe.

lol, yes, the good old Hylian sheild! ^_^
An uncharged arrow will stop a fully charged beam shot though, if its stuck in the ground and you are on a level area like Final Destination.
*BIG NEWS*
I was at Corneria, and I jumped and did Link's normal air a, and it canceled out one of the little ships blasts! I was like, "woah!"

I was like, "woah!" heres a bigger "woah", using Fox or Falco, go to either Corneria or Venom, then rapidly hit the left and right D-Pad thingys until they start a DIFFERENT taunt, make sure your not actually fighting though, seeing as it takes about 5 seconds, and they each get different convos (I got this little easter egg from Gamefaqs.com)

I'm quite intrigued by the advanced tactics they've discovered. I've almost got wavedashing down and my shffl's are quite fluent.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, Paul, but this topic is for discusion about SSBM. If you would like to say "Hi" it would have been better in the "'Ello everyone" topic. On topic: Who do you use for Melee?

OMG! Huge news! I might be going to Melee FC6 this summer! There's going to be around 200 people including the infamous Ken! http://meleefc.com for more details! I can't wait, I've already started training my game even further to be able to play faster and have any hope at killing anybody there. I mean, I'm good, but these guys are the shiznit. Pure 1337...
