Ali Ibn Abi Talib (Salamollah Alaih), was the right hand of our prophet. And there is this famous quote from Muhammad (Salawatollah Alaih), that says; "La fata ella Ali la saif ella zolfaghar." Which means: "there is no brave but Ali, there is no sword but Zolfaghar."
And you know that 'Zolfaghar' is the name of a sword that belonged to Ali Ibn Abi Talib (Salamollah Alaih).

M a h z a l a I just adore Umar Ibn Al Khatab. He was such an amazing Sahaba! biggrin Yes!! whee Me too! He was truly amazing! emotion_awesome And I also love Musab bin Umair. He was extremely handsome emotion_kirakira and not only that, but, he sacrificed his wealth and riches for Islam. His family wouldn't accept him and they disowned him! (he was FILTHY RICH! His clothes were actually washed in Itr. The expensive one! And the scent remained in the streets for quite some time after he passed through them.)

all of the muslim warriors are incredible, both mental and physical (i heard they use a really really heavy iron to make their sword, some even said it reached 100 kg eek ) I admire Umar r.a, his bravery is amazing even when he just got into Islam. He went out and clearly tells everyone in the public that he's a muslim and threatens those who wants to fight against Islam scream

They're all indeed great, however I like Salahuddin mostly. He didn't live around Prophet Muhammad's reign, but he could manage to follow and do all the sunnahs and teachings.
In the world without our praised Prophet living around, it's very challenging, like what we face today. One of the thing we could do is to make Salahudin as an example, the man who spent his life strive and struggle to maintain and enliven Prophet Muhammad's sunnah. Let's make ourselves better Muslims. blaugh

In single combat, it has to be Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). Even allowing for mythologizing, he must have been a terrifying opponent.
Khalid Ibn Walid was a masterful general, though, and all four of these are touched with greatness.

After listening and reading more stories about the Sahabah and the other Prophets, I doubt I can choose easily! But Khalid bin Walid is DEFINITELY one of my favorites! biggrin Umar and Musab (R.A.) are of course, on the top of my list! I absolutely love how Ali (R.A.) had such a special sword and was such an amazing warrior! They're all such amazing people! whee

how about Sultan Muhammad Al-Fatih that had liberated constantinople, i heard a hadith where the one that would defeat the constantine kingdom would be from the best leader leading the best soldiers. Muhammad Al-Fatih and his army defeated the constantine kingdom, which then leads to a great Islamic Empire, wouldn't that be making him to be one of the greatest islamic warrior? surprised
