Murtagh
Eragons half brother. They share the same mother but other then that they appear to be opisites at times. Durring the war with Galbatorix, Murtagh was tricked into his service, though he did gain one good thing. A red dragon named Thorn. To this day few know of his whereabouts, though do to the years past he can come out of hideing and often helps Eragon find young riders and take them to the island Vroengard.

Brom
Eragons father and one of his many teachers. Mostly the only ones who talk of the old teacher and rider Brom are Eragon, and few of the Varden who rember him. He too, had a dragon named Saphira

Glaeder
Now an Eldunari (See magic words) sence he died. Young riders can still talk to this dragon and many others who wished to live after their riders to teach the young. Glaeder was teacher to Saphira.
Oromis
Teacher to Eragon, the one who taught him after Broms death. An elf rider who hid away in the relm of elves due to his and his dragons injurys and vowed to wait to teach the next rider. They were killed by Murtagh who was at the time being controlled by Galbatorix.

Arya
Queen of the Elves and rider of a green dragon named Firnen. Once one of the varden but after her mother died she took the role as Queen of her race.

Magic and ancient words
Magic comes from the use of the Ancient words. The elves are know to speek in this lanuge all the time due to the fact that none may tell a lie while speeking it. Though, sence elves have been around a few years, they know some tricks to the trade on bending truth with ancient language. The only time the ancient language is a spell is if you put magic behind the words. ( I did not make the words and have gotten them straight from the book... so if there is a word you want thats not here pm me and i shall check the other 3 books to see if they have it.)

Elda- a gender-nutral honorific suffix of great praise, attached with hyphen
Eldunari- A gem like shape, it actualy houses the soul of a dragon. It is inside of every dragon and can be removed while the dragon while it is alive if the dragon choses which is rarely ever to happen. The dragons usualy wish to have their Eldunari destroyed after their death in order to join their riders in death while some stay to pass on their knowedge to new riders.

Probably will not be used as much but, might as well get a few terms down just in case, like with the one before, cant find a word ask and I shall search for it for you.
Brazul-curse someone with ill fate
Beor- cave bear (elf word)
Derundann- greetings
durgrimst- clan (litteraly, our hall or our home)

Feldunost- frost beard (a species of goat native to the Beor Mountains)
grimstborith-clan chief (litteraly hall cheif)
grimstnzborith- ruler of dwarves whether king or queen
Ilf gauhnith!- an expression that means 'its safe and good' traditionaly said by host who takes first bite of food and tells others its not poisoned

Knurla- dwarf (litteraly " one of stone" plural is Knurlan)
Nagra- giant boar ( native to Beor montains)
thardsvergundnzmal- something that appears other then it is, fake , a sham

Ugralgra- Urgals (literally, those with horns)
Herndal- Urgal dams who rule their tribes
Namna- Woven strips containing Urgal family narratives that are placed by teh entrances to their huts
