Appearance: Taller and slightly bulkier than Optimus Prime. Head like Optimus' minus head crest: http://media.photobucket.com/image/Optimus Prime g1/Kankurou_1/Misc%20Fun/motivator3372242.jpg which flips up from cab section. Cab of vehicle mode makes up torso. Upper half of troop/cargo section swings forward to form shoulders and arms, the twin small concusion blasters remain on shoulders. Lower half of troop cargo section forms lower half/ legs of robot mode with the ramp and rear wheels forming the feet.
Weapons and equipment:Aside from the twin shoulder mounted concusion blasters, he carries a Partical beam rifle with the explosive force of a tactical nuke and and energon combat knife. His armor can take hits from most cybertronian standard firearms, thanks in part to energy absorbers built into his system
Personality: Cool, collected and calculating, Hard Drive is a bot of few words and decisive action, with the mind of a tactical genuious. However he is passive to the point of being casually dismissive and leaving those around him to think he doesn't care. That is till he's on the battlefield, then one sees why he was a field commander
Bio: Orignally a mere miner bot with a passion for games of strategy. He was amoung the Bots in the energon mine uprising that Megatron himself was a part of (See IDW comics Megatron Origins). He would follow along with megatron to the under ground fighting pits and eventually join the decepticon cause. He is often called into action when an autobot stronghold needs to be breeched or transporting others, through heavily guarded areas. He does still believe in the original goal of the decepticons, but after certain events back on cybertron saw that Megatron had lost sight of that original "noble" goal. He left the war while it still raged on cybertron and after countless years in stasis in space, ends up crash landing on earth. It would in fact be the remnant radition of earth's nuclear war, that would end up reviving and waking him from stasis and leaving him to explore the new, yet eeriely familiar ruined world.
