 Training was over for the day and this was something he was highly happy about. It was night and the only thing he was thinking about doing was falling into a deep sleep. He hurt and he felt like someone stomped him into the ground repeatedly, but somehow he managed to continuing moving. His father wasn't going to let him leave training today unless he made a worthy hit, which he did eventually. It was a tiring life, but he knew once he had everything down and grew to adulthood, his life would be a whole lot easier. He still wondered if his brother would have to go through the harsh training he did or even his sister. His father didn't seem all that interested in training his sister though. This he didn't blame him for since he felt mare's should be protected instead of thrown into battle unless proven otherwise.
So he walked, his usual path in the meadow eying around wondering what the hell he was going to do this evening. Maybe his brother was around? He wouldn't mind pestering him for once instead of flying solo all the damn time. "Brother?" He called out into the moonlit darkness. There wasn't much noise or movement around so he assumed he wasn't around. Though they were trained to be as silent as they could be. "Come out come out wherever you are~" He called out once more as he walked further and further.

 The sun was just beginning glare through the trees as, a warm color of bright reds and vibrant oranges that had Uriel squinting at the harshness of it. Sure, he supposed it was 'beautiful' and all like his mother had told him. But did it have to cause your eyes to water? As of late, his days have been spent mainly with his mother and sister, learning the importance of speed and focus. Which, had to be the most boring this ever.
Sighing, Uriel finally managed to slink away and take a much needed break from all that.. stuff. Who needed it anyway? Gods, was he jealous of his brother Zach. He got to have all the fun. Learning things he'd actually get to use, instead of spending his time 'listening' to the hoof steps of his mother while he 'concentrated'. Uriel actually started to doze off a couple times.
For now, he just need a good romp with one of his siblings.
The echo from nearby caught his attention, his ears perking to attention as he took off in the direction of the voice. "Zach!" He called back in a sing-song voice. "I hear you.... But I can't see you." Grinning ear to ear he hide behind a small bush, waiting expectantly for when his brother would find him.

Hearing his brother's familiar voice, he turned his head in the direction from where it came from and raised his eyebrow. "Hmph playing hide and seek? Aren't we getting a little too old for that?" He said eying around some more and half wondered if he was hiding because he was testing his ability to find others. This wouldn't be too hard since he was pretty good at tracking already. He snorted and walked over to the spot where he thought his brother was hiding and peeked over the bush. "This was a terrible hiding spot you know. Dad would be soooo disappointed in you unless you wanted to be found?" He shook his head at his brother and thought he would have done a better job then that, but maybe he wanted to be found.
He flicked his kirin tail behind himself and then curled it around his right back leg. He needed to still get a little better at healing, but there wasn't much he could do. He needed someone to either teach him or be put in a situation where he needed to heal someone. That hadn't happened yet and maybe it was something he would have to go looking for. "Hey bro..do you have any healing abilities? I know father said he never fully learned how to heal, but it's something I want to learn...sadly I have no one to teach me. I'm kind of hoping you can, but I guess I'm wishing for a little too much." He said shrugging and looking away from him. He was the only one with a horn and that made him think that maybe it was a lost cause.
"Oh have you been getting trained as harsh as me or am I the only one? I meant to ask you sooner, but...meh it never really came to mind. If you are then maybe one day we can spar?" He grinned at the thought thinking it would probably make him stronger in the long run.

As Zach looked down at him disapprovingly, Uriel shook his head. "When you've been running and 'focusing' with mom and sis all day.. sometimes a little joking around is needed." Getting to his hooves in one swift motion he smiled and glanced through the trees. "I don't really have to worry about that, at least for the time being. Father has you." Yes, he was a bit bitter by his brother being chosen to study with their father, but seeing him act so much like Gabriel, he couldn't help it.
Shaking his head at his Zach's question, his gaze flicked down to the ground. "No, i don't think Ange does either. Mom says only those with horns manifest that ability." Lifting his head to his brother, he noticed that he'd looked away. "Score one for you. You'll pick it up sooner or later. I know you will. And... " he said looking over his brothers shoulder to see what he was staring at. "I'll try to help you anyway I can."
"I wouldn't say trained.. It's more just listening to mom talk about listening to the sounds and noises around you.. and try to best her at running." Uriel said with a sigh. "I'm sure your training is something you can actually use.."

Zachariah shook his head and huffed a little bit. "Your right, but when your training with dad for hours on end. I think you and sis have it easy compared to me." He rolled his eyes at his brother before curling his tail tightly around the back of his leg. "Father has you and sis too. He wanted to train all three of us and if you really do want to train...then come with me on those days. Dad might be harsh, but I'm sure he would want his other son to be a fighter as well. Is it something you would want to do?" He asked his brother really wanting him to do it since he would have a training partner. He wanted to have someone besides his father to spar with on a daily basis and his brother was the right size if not a little bit smaller.
"Ugh so I will never be able to heal." He said with a scoff not really feeling like he would ever pick it up no matter what his brother said. It just felt like he was going to have to learn on his own rather then from someone else. "Awww mom trains you in the more gentle realm rather then physical like dad does. Why don't you spend more time with dad and let sis stay with mom some? Or we can swap every now and then. I don't want to lose touch with mom and I'm hoping she doesn't with us." He nodded to his brother. He really didn't want his mother to go anywhere. Though the solid truth is she probably would end up finding someone to be there for her in the end. It made him a little on edge thinking that he might lose his mother for good, but he was sure she would come around to visit at least. "Do you think mom is going to be around forever?" He asked his brother feeling a little more serious about the conversation.
