Eternal Sailor Remarque would never grow tired of strolling through the park. Despite his affinity with traversing the dark alleys in town, after a long night of gathering energy, sometimes he'd just earned that break. The peace and calm of the night was always refreshing—and a good way to calm down after chasing—what had it been tonight? Four uncouth, filthy hooligans?
Remarque wouldn’t go so far as to brag, but tonight had been rather lucky for him. Not only had he sapped a fine amount of energy and dropped all four punks into mirror space, but he'd also made out a good few hundred dollars richer. Nothing to break the bank, but hell. At the rate his girlfriend was costing him, he didn’t mind the tip.
Usually, at this hour, he was done socializing. It wasn't anything against anyone, just that he probably wasn't his best after being up for eighteen hours straight. If it weren't for coffee and energy drinks, he'd have curled up in bed a long time ago. He was, in fact, just about to step through a mirror when he felt a Chaos aura drift surprisingly nearby.
He was in front of the mirror, pondering. It was a Negeverse Agent. Was it worth it? On one hand, meet with an ally. On the other hand, they might be batshit crazy. Did he really want another serving of batshit crazy before heading to bed?
…Apparently so. He wasn't even aware that he'd made up his mind before he realized that his feet were moving and he was already drifting towards the Chaos aura he'd sensed.

She stated on a bench at the park and smoked, her never dying cigarette. She enjoy her weapon a bit too much and use it whenever she power up more the most lieutenants. She smiled, no only was she was having a good night she had a good work day. She drain the energy of two guys and work a 10 hour shift. She was finally getting use to her other life. It was fun to her something to do other then working. Every time he drain someone energy she was getting stronger. Something she like, it was moving in ranks in a new job.
She smiled once again and blew out the smoke.

When Remarque first spotted the lieutenant, he assumed she was just a civilian out for a smoking break—until he took another look. She was the only visible person in the area, and unless some Negaverser was hiding in the bushes behind her, that meant she had to be the one he'd been sensing.
On the off-chance that he could be wrong, Remarque did not immediately demand for the Negaverser in the area to deliver him their attention; instead, he casually walked towards the woman, pausing when close enough only to comment, "Seems like an out of the way place to be taking a cigarette break. Don't you have better things to be doing?"

Her eyes moved fast to see who was approaching her. If it was just some stupid guy who was trying to pick her up then another thing was coming for him. She didn't even have to be a Negaverser lieutenant to deal with annoying guys like that, but lucky for him he was different.
She sent him a warm smiled and looked him from head to toe. He didn't send off an aura that smelled of senshi but he didn't look like a lieutenant. He was something different. Oh! She knew one of those mirror people she kept hearing about while training. They looked just as weird as they sound. She looked away and inhale another drag and gently turn her head to blow the smoke out in his direction. "I'm cigarette is my weapon, mirror boy." she said in a cunning yet smooth like tone.

"That so?" Remarque prompted, obviously rhetorically. He did not hesitate to fan the plume of smoke away from him, though his mannerisms denoted boredom rather than a frantic desire to escape the smoke. He'd had his time with cigarettes, and now they were more of a nuisance than they'd ever been a pleasure. "Seems like you got a bit gypped. Is it any use in fighting, or do you just take a puff at all of them?"
Not that there was anything against smoke, per se; Ares had found a damned fine way to utilize it. Though, there was something vastly different when comparing the senshi of smoke's powers and the product of some measly little cigarette.

She smirked. This guy was just witty as she was and she enjoy that. She gently stood up and moved to place her face right in fornt of his. She gently smiled and gave him a small look. "Would you like me to test it out on you? I would be more then happy to show you what I can do with a cigarette, or would you like to sit down and let me enjoy my time?" she said with a small smile.
And as gently as she stood up she sat back down and took another puff of her drag. In all truth, she had read up on things she could do with a cigarette. When she first founded out that she was handed a cigarette as a weapon she was a bit worried. Not much she could do with it but smoke it but if she just close enough she could brun the hell out of someone. And she knew that it hurt because she tested it on herself, first. She had to check if it was even worth getting close to the enemy. She lightly patted the space next to her and smile. "Well Sweetie, are you going to keep my company?" she said gently.

Remarque wasn't wholeheartedly convinced that he liked being called 'sweetie'; even pet names from his girlfriend seemed to grate on him. He tolerated it from his mother but—hell—how do you tell your mother to knock it off when it made her so happy.
"…I suppose I can take a moment," he concluded, liking the smell of the smoke a bit too much. The voice in the back of his head chastised him, told him not to set himself up like that, but he crossed the distance between them and took a seat next to Hopeite, anyway. He'd been on his feet for long enough, who was he to deny himself a little rest?
Leaning backwards, he rested his arm on the back of the bench and exhaled a slight breath of relaxation. That was all it took before he tilted his head to the Negaverser next to him and extended his left hand in greeting. "Remarque, Puppetry," he introduced, rather prideful of his status as an eternal senshi, but having grown a bit tired of the lengthy name in less than formal arrangements.

She looked to him and gave him a small smile. Crossing her leg, like a lady and took a small but yet meaningful smoke on her drag. She lightly reach in one of the pocket she had made herself for this outfit. She had to admitted that it was almost perfect she had to make a feel adjustment to make it just perfect and pocket was a must. She read and grabbed on of her homemade cigarette and held it out to the male and smile. "Would you like one. I made it myself. It made out of the finest tabacco, it would a pleasure and a joy from the cigarette that you use smoke. She could tell that he was either a smoker or use to be a smoker. There are certain ways people act around cigarette and Hopeite could just tell by there face. There were three type of people. People who didn't smoke, people who smoke, or people who use to smoke and he was one of the last two. She smiled again and grabbed her lighter. "It's doesn't hace all those filthy things that most cigarette do and hits so smooth" she said taking another hit and blowing the smoke gently in his direction.
She watch him as he extended his hand and she gently shook it with a smile. "Hopeite, Cigarette" she said almost mocking his style of introducing himself. She gave a small smile and lightly c**k her head. "I'm guessing you're an eternal senshi by the little butt wings." she said with a smirk. She had no idea why senshi had those silly little wings they looked just foolish.

He really shouldn't accept the cigarette. He was old enough now to buy them for himself. He'd kicked the habit once—he didn't need to set himself up to do it again.
…Oh, but that smoke. It smelled so good. And she was offering him a homemade cigarette? …Well, it would be rude to refuse. Ah, but his mother would kill him.
…And Raven.
Unless, of course, they never knew.
"I quit a while ago," he forced himself to say, though figured he couldn't get into too much trouble if he just let himself appreciate her second hand smoke. "…I'd watch what you say about my butt wings, though. They might be dinky, but I worked hard to get them. You can criticize them when you get to be a general, Missy."

"Oh! We have a quitter on our hands." she paused to make a "tsk" sound and rolled her eyes slightly. "Too bad. My cigarettes are to die for. Everyone who has smoked them has said that they're the best they ever." paused again to shrug her shoulders and smiled. "But who knows. I read up every day trying to get different recipes. I'm a woman who likes change." she smiled and looked at him. "Maybe when you come to you sense you can smoke one." she said with a quiet laugh.
She gave him a small look and maybe another "tsk" again. "Oh I'm sorry. I stepped way out of line. I should of just stop at the eternal senshi part. There was no need for me to comment on your wings." she said giving him a small smile. She lightly inhaled her cigarette again and looked to him. "So how long did it take to get them anyways?" she ask out in curiosity. She wanted to know, how long it would take her to get a better weapon. She had to admitted a cigarette sucked, when defending yourself.

Remarque very nearly rolled his eyes, and had half a mind to push the woman off the bench for just tempting—and then laughing about it. He refrained, simply because he didn't want to create an awkward mess between the Dark Mirror Senshi and the Negaverse. It was easier to hold a conversation with her when she was asking legitimate questions and not trying to tempt him back into a lifestyle he'd left behind.
"Not too terribly long," he decided, though back then did seem so long ago. "Ares awakened me a while back. Not quite a year. There was that whole Surrounding thing going on, not sure if you were around for that. We got back…what, October-ish?" He nodded to himself. "Early December, after that, I met up with a cat who got me to Super. Eternal was," he scratched at his chin thoughtfully, trying to remember exactly when it had happened. "March, I think. So, it was only really a few months. But maybe I'm a bit of a workaholic. I was out every night, almost, doing something for the Court."

No she wasn't around for the Surrounding, so that was all news to her. She had heard about the bizarre happening but now it all made more sense to her so she couldn't care too much about it.
She he talked she smiled. This wouldn't take too long then. She was very much a workaholic and could do this very easily. Well as long as her human job wouldn't take up a lot of her time. She use to be consumed with her other job but she could bet anything that this would soon consume her also.
She looked to the senshi and smiled and gently stood up. "I think it's time for me to go. It was nice to meet you and thank you for the information." she said turning around and gently walking off.

Conversations like that were why Remarque tolerated the Negaverse; Hopeite wasn't half bad, all things considered. He nodded his head to the woman, bid her a good evening, and relaxed against the bench and appreciated the lingering aroma of her cigarette. It was nostalgic—comforting, in a way. He lingered for a short while after she had gone—a short while after the smoke had wafted away.
He wondered if her cigarette was as good as she claimed it to be, though he supposed he might never know.
Hopefully Raven would appreciate the sacrifice.
