Goofie: Goofie was out and about the beach again. This time he was sure to be well aware of his surroundings. Namely on the look out for jellyfish. He'd had one run in to many and gained the gypsy name goofie which goofie was pretty sure he did not completely like. He didnt totally hate it either so it stayed sticker to him than a jellyfishes stinger. The beach was rather lively today of all days. The waves were swelling back and forth which lead the lion to believe there may be a storm brewing in their future. He took a seat on the sandy beach and watched.
Ace: It was easy to get out of the den with a mother such as his. He didn't have to ask, and when he did, he only had to count to ten before he could ask again. Odds were- she'd change her mind without knowing it. While she was slowly becoming more and more familar with the bundles of fur against her, most days Miakis completely forgot that she had children by mid-day. It was a sad thing perhaps, but for a reckless male such as himself, he didn't truely appreciate the tragic aspect of his mother's condition. For him- it was a wild card. He could go where he wanted, defy his mother, or stay out at a friend's den without a complaint from his mother. It was perfection. He was responsible to no one, to nothing, for nothing. He did what he wanted when he wanted, said what he wanted to whomever, and because of his more bold attitude he gained the gypsy name "Ace". He didn't have any respect for his elders and he saw absolutely no boundries. He did what he wanted. So it was that morning he was out trotting like a king would through his domain. His head and tail held high, his paws gliding over the ground.

Goofie: It was possible that goofy would have missed the cub completely. However, maybe it was just the wind but the sea spray had him turning his head. There he focused on the cub. A strange site to see a cub such as this out and about on his own. Goofie paused and watched a bit before remembering that he him self was an adult and probably should look out for the well being of this child. Slowly he got up. "Oi" He called out to the cub.
Ace: The pale cub stopped in his tracks and tossed a headfull of ebony mane from his eyes. Like his mother, he had a pair of dark circles around his eyes. Few now remained that knew his grandfather but the cub was nearly the spitting image of him. Pale fur, dark harrowing marks, and a pair of eyes that pierced right through the dark mask surrounding them. Lifting his jaw he rolled his shoulders back and flipped his tail back and forth. "Oi yourself. What'do want?"

Goofie: "Isn't it a little dangerous for you to be out and about?" Goofie was now looming over the cub. He was build big for a lion but not giagantic. He was frowning down at the cub but his eyes gave away a certain sort of softness. "I mean there all sorts of critters on the beach like crabs. What if one pinches you?" He wasn't being serious but the fact that a cub was unattended for was quite serious.
Ace: "Crabs." Ace confirmed with a deadpan look, his eyes dull and his tail falling as if it had lost every bone running down it. Crabs. Of all the terrors an adult could come up with- giant sharks, whales, bloodthirsty rogues -this one says...crabs. He'd seen them before and frankly the creatures were more interested in skittering back into their holes than trying to pinch anyone. Now if he cornered one, surely, he'd get pinched. But it was unlikely that they'd come tearing down the beach after him.
"Uh... I think I can handle crabs, mister. But if you want-", He reached out a paw to pat the male's leg, "I'll make sure that they don't bother you."

Goofie: Goofies face fell flat. He hadnt expected that sort of reaction from the cub. It was a little insulting. For a while the adult struggled to find the correct words but he found him self a little at a loss. "Why arent you attended for?" Finally came to.
Ace: "Nope." The cub planted his rear in the sand and brought a paw up to brush the mane from his eyes once more. "I look out for myself. And one day- I'm gonna be a thief. The best there ever was." He paused and arched a brow, his eyes regarding the other male the way he might another cub. "...what about you?"

Goofie: Goofies brow lifted. " A thief hmm?" It wasn't surprising that this cub wanted to aspire to those ranks. Goofie approved. His features stayed a little cemented until the what about you. This through Goofie off. "What do you mean what about me?"
Ace: "I mean what about you." He pointed a paw in his direction and jabbed it lightly against his leg. "Are you needing supervision? It's a fair question. You asked me so I'm asking you."
He let his paw settle under him and raised his chin. "Or were you thinking I needed help just because I'm little? I'm gonna grow you know."

Goofi: "Hey now," Goofies brows knitted, " I am not any where NEAR the need of supervision," If he had arms he'd had crossed them. The lion was cross. "Grow up but not instantly. Come on, back to the caves with you. No way a mother would let a cub like you out of her sights... specially with such spunk you have. Or seem to have."
Ace: Ace's maw stretched into a wide, almost mocking smirk. He eyed the adult and looked beyond him to the shore. Empty. He was alone...
Looking back to him he stood himself up and gave the older male a short, dismissive shrug of his shoulders. "My mom doesn't even remember me half the time. So it's not a big deal, I do what I want."

Goofi: That sounded some what familiar with the memory loss. "Well none the less," He cleared his throat, "It is the responsible thing to take you back. Come now."
Ace: The cub smirked, gave the male a stern look, and turned tail. If he was going back, the male would have to catch him first. He was already at a severe disadvantage with his shorter legs and his lack of experience, but it would be a good effort.

This was baffling how this cub was acting. So. So. Bold. Goofie twisted his features. He really did not want to deal with such a rude cub but at the same time he was this cubs elder. The lion sighed and went ahead after him. "Hey you need to watch it. This beach is full of jellies and you dont want to get stung do you?" ((We can has rp while I am at work o u o?))
