me and a friend of mine were having a heated discussion about KSing.
i used to hate people taking my kills, and it took me a while to realize that if our team got the kill regardless, we'd all end up with lots of kills anyway. She, on the other hand, argued that taking someone's kill isnt nice, and the kill should go to the one that dealt the most damage..
reason i put this up is because i think that KSing only exists in bot games. ive only come around to thinking it that way recently, but in this short time, both my gameplay, and my win rate have gone up.
do you think that my definition of KS holds true, or am i talking out of my butt?

I agree with this. As long as someone gets the kill I am usually fine. It's better for my teammate to get a kill than for the enemy to get away and no one get the kill.

I agree that "Kill Stealing" mostly exists in bot games.
In normals and ranked, so long as the majority of the kills goes to everyone besides the support, it's Kill Securing.
Still, you wouldn't want a support hogging all the kills in normals/ranked, lol
And it's still a bit rude when someone just pops out of nowhere when you're full health and ults your target when it's very obvious you would have had it in the next few seconds.
Guess it just takes a little common sense, lol

Well kill stealing and securing shouldn't matter cause this isn't HoN where you get rated dependent on your KDR. As for what your friend said, just tell her the more damage you did to the target the more gold you get from the actual kill. In my opinion KSing is only prominent among low level players, as they will constantly claim ksing. Higher level players tend not to care unless its the support nabbing first blood.
