I went to a local convention where a woman was selling hand knitted fish stuffed with catnip.

Boy, did Pearl go nuts for it. I had to take it away before she ripped it to shreds.

I have pictures of Pearl playing with it within five minutes of giving it to her.

Still plays with it too. ^^'

I realized my cat only had jingle balls to play with and since they're very noisy at night, I had to remedy this. I crochet and have a lot of the ends of yarn balls that I can't use for much, so I ended up making these little mice,

She absolutely LOVES them and there's really nothing special about them. They don't jingle or crinkle and they don't even have catnip in them, but I've made them for a friend's cat and she loves them as well, so obviously I did something right. They're made with all one piece of yarn so bits aren't going to come undone and get swallowed.

I haven't been able to get a picture of her playing with them yet though, whenever she notices the camera she turns into a nosy little brat.
