hahaha, there are a lot here in Singapore as well.

Let's see the latest I was told about is a girl who is extremely busty and likes to cos scantly clad characters or bikini versions. Once she did a Misa Misa from Death Note, but used a corset for the top. She lied on the floor as she posed but in one shot the lighting highlighted the line between the corset and the skin, and that made it look like she was spilling out of her corset and flashing people when she was not. Sad to say she was flamed but she is still strong and cosing her usual style

It is an old story, but goes to show that people will find fault with the smallest thing and explode it to insane proportions

We have one girl here that claims that she does not cosplay for attention.
Then again... her "cosplays" arent exactly cosplays, its just her usual clothing, no wigs, just make-up (lots of it), dark circle lenses and a prop of a specific character.
Its the same thing at almost every event she goes to, sometimes her friends lend her some costumes and names them the wrong character.
She also claims that fashion modelling (as in wear couture clothing) and cosplaying is exactly alike (dunnuh where she picked that one up). She got flamed and trolled too.. A LOT. Then again, she still keeps "cosplaying."

We also have another girl who flirts with really good craftsmen to get free costumes. Sometimes she gives them nekkid photos of her. :3

That happens here too...
Or some does it in vice versa, they wait for others to release their costumes and then they ask us to make a better one. Its really common actually.

Also, as for rabid people...
That girl who flirts with the boys for free costumes attacked me in a com!
No seriously. Because I asked her craftsman (who is also a friend) to sew a suit for me (i paid for the raw materials so yeah), he finished the costume as soon as possible because he said im one of his few friends who are actually willing to pay him. When she received the news about my costume, she was so angry she pulled my hair during a con. ; o ;

He cant finish her costumes as fast as mine since... they're 100% free. :c
It usually takes him 3 months or so to finish hers..
Mine only takes about 2 weeks. xDD
