Growing up in the lap of luxury since her mother, Autumn, is a very close friends with king which gives them the title of noble, Rosalino had everything she wanted and needed except for her father. Her father abandoned her mother (without realizing that she was pregnant) before Rosalino was born so her mother was forced to take on both parental roles. Autumn doted on her daughter and taught her everything except the history, secrets and information about the beast that resides inside her daughter because she felt that its the father's duty. Rosalino struggled with the fact that her father isn't there to watch her grow up and help her with the issues that she have with the beast inside her but she loved her father because she knew that he was nearby, always watching. After her mother slipped into a deep coma after the huge battle between her and the assassins, Rosalino actively sought out her father for the information and the connection she needed.

Rosalino had a relatively normal childhood (beside those episodes she have with the beast inside her) and her mother didn't try to shelter her because she believed that her own child is strong just like her and her soulmate (Rosalino's father) and Rosalino is able to handle anything that is thrown in her way. Rosalino learned how to handle different kind of weapons, fighting methods and all of the things her mother thought she would need to know and the bright-eyed girl learned all of those things with vigor. She also learned how to be civil and develop her social skills because her mother owned a tavern so she worked there when she doesn't have school or training that needs to be done. As she developed into a teenager, she went into the mercenary profession and was gone from the home majority of the time but she would always come back home with pouches or bags of money for her mother.

Note: And as for the beast, If she was little bit more than half (like her mother) or full-blooded then she WOULD transform into a beast whenever she loses control of her emotions or when she is literally fighting for her life. But since she's 1/4, the beast will kinda.. loom over her like a shadow if that makes a sense?
Her beast shape is actually a demonic wolf like her father. Her wolf is platinum (bright) silver with blue fire (fire inherited from her mother) and it will have spikes here and there (positions are up to you) to indicate that the wolf isn't normal.

What, exactly, is the 'beast?'

How did it come to be in her family?

Why is it hereditary? Because on her father's side, he's a natural (pureblood) host/beast and on her mother's side, she's half since her father is a natural and her mother wasn't. So it passes on and fades if not bred with natural host/beast.

Is the same beast passed down from person to person, or is it a different beast that lives within each of the family members? Different beast that lives within each of the family members

If different, how do the creatures vary from one another? The beasts sort of fits the host's strengths and weaknesses then enhances both. The appearances varies as well but felines and wolves seems to be a dominant in this family.

Do they have different personalities, different instincts, different desires, etc, or are they sentient but aloof? They do have different personalities, instincts, desires and etc

Is the beast malignant, benign, or beneficial to the host, or a mix of all three? A mix of all three

Does the 'beast' have a genuine interest in their hosts lives? Yes. Because if the host dies, the beast dies as well.

How does it effect the sanity of those who harbor it within their minds? The family's bloodline is really strong and are mostly sane but sometimes the chatter of their beasts will drive them to the brink of insanity temporarily.

Is it possible for 'the beast' to take control of the host's actions? For pure-blood and half bloods, yes. Its a huge possibility that the beast could take control of the host's actions but that usually happens when the host is literally fighting for their lives or lost control of their emotions.

If so, are there any extra powers granted by it's dominance? Every ability and powers that the host have will be enhanced by around 10x more. The host wouldn't feel the pain or anything unless its mortal wound and will just bulldoze through their opponents with little problems.

By having the 'beast' inside of them, are they given powers / abilities that normally they wouldn't have? Immortality (they don't die like other elves or humans would). Enhanced abilities and powers that they already have.

Is there a way to purge themselves of the 'beast?' No. There is no solution to it except to breed it out by purposely breed with those that do NOT have a trace of beast in their lineage but its a very long process and nobody in the family wants to do that.

If so, then why hasn't the family done so before? The family views this as a teamwork between them and the beasts. The beasts see things that the family could have overlooked so they rely on each other. The family have embraced the beast

Are there others out there, besides the family, who have this within their bloodline? There are but they are so few and so spread out. Autumn and Rajiin's family is the largest (on the record) group so far.

Because of the 'beast,' does the host have any character traits that normally wouldn't be natural to them?

Because of the 'beast,' how will their actions differ in stressful / violent situations, if at all? In stressful/violent situations, the beast will rise close to the surface, giving them half amount of enchanted abilities and powers so they will be able to get out of the situation. But if its extremely violent situation, the beast will take over completely transforming the host into the beast form. Since Rosalino is 1/4, she doesn't get that luck, the beast will 'loom' over her like a shadow and will give her around 1/4 of enhanced abilities and powers.

How does the 'beast' effect their capacity for affection / love, if at all? The beasts don't do gray areas, either they feel the emotions fully or they feel nothing. So if the hosts are interested or are falling love with someone, the beasts will assist that and push the host either way (fully in love or not).

How does the 'beast' effect the growth and development of their host?

Does the 'beast' emerge at a certain age, or is there a catalyst that brings its sentience to life in the host's mind? The beast is always sentient since the host is born, very aware of everything around the host from the day one.

Has there ever been someone in the family who hasn't had the 'beast' within them? Autumn (Rosalino's mother)'s mother wasn't a beast so that line doesn't have the beast but the father's side does. So yes.

If so, how were they treated by other family members? Was the rest of the family envious or jealous? Or did they cast them out because they didn't have it? In this family, everyone are equal, beast or not because they are family whenever they like it or not. The beasts will protect the non-beast ones and train them so they will be stronger than average but not at the beast's level.

Do other people know that the family has the 'beast' in their bloodline? If so, how is the family treated by others? Are they shunned? Are they worshiped? No. The family is very secretive about the beast part of their bloodline because the believe that if they reveals that part, they will get attention that they don't want from enemies or anyone who would like to have a challenge of taking down the exclusive beast. And people who witnessed the beast parts of the family members usually don't survive the encounter.

What is the outcome of people who have coped with the beast for years? Do they eventually go insane?

Regarding Outfits:
You might have noticed that I don't have a part about her outfits anywhere in the profile. (So pick an outfit for Rosalino to wear when you draw her ^^). Its because she's a chameleon and is able to wear any kind of fashions (she won't wear pink unless its COMPLETELY required for assignment or whatever.)
If you do give her pink outfit, it will be funny for me to try to explain the reason behind it XD But seriously, avoid pink if you can.
