When fighting, Raphael's body will always turn into a blackened form -- much like a silhouette. The back of his body will always appear to have two large tendrils sticking outwards, with a single horn sticking from the center of his head. His body figure will appear naked, though whether this is true or not doesn't really matter. He cannot wear armor because of this talent. Ever. So he might as well be naked regardless.
Aside from granting a strong advantage at night, this talent gives Raphael both a +1 boost to speed and a +2 boost to strength while it is active -- which is always true during combat. He can choose to lift the black veil from certain parts of his body if desired, but the effect remains the same. This effect also applies to Roxanne, though not to any other weapons he may use.
As well as the fact that he cannot use armor in this state, he cannot enter his centaur-state while this is active; though he may still use his bow-form. Roxanne cannot morph into anything other than the lance and the sword while this is active, also disabling him from using the shield.
Vulgar Incarnation
The first mutation, as seen in the pic, is the mutation of Raphael's left arm into a large array of metallic tendrils that are meant to defend, ensnare, capture or puncture enemies, though they can only puncture enemies that are not very well-defended. It costs 25 energy per-post to maintain.
The second mutation is that of Raphael's back. It is a mutation in which moth-like wings sprout from behind him, though he can only fly a maximum height of thirty-feet with these. They cost 20 energy per-post to maintain.
The third mutation is that of Raphael's left-leg. It specializes in fast, kick motions. Using his other leg to balance and fall on his feet, he will make many upward or even downward kick-motions from spins, to slams, to direct, upward kicks. The legs are deformed to skinny, metallic horse-legs, and this costs 20 energy per-post to maintain.
The fourth mutation is that of Raphael's-right leg. It gains extreme and superior balance, as well as its own personal reflexes involving landing, allowing for Raphael's left-leg to make kicks that would normally be risky, rather easily to pull off. As well, this leg increases Raphael's jumping height by about ten-feet per jump. This mutation requires 30 energy per-post to maintain, as it's the mutation that acts with the most quick-movements, which may invoke strain. It looks just like the left-leg.
The final mutation is Raphael's head. There will be a horn in the very center that may extend and shoot in nearly any direction. However, this mutation is perpetual when in-battle and costs no energy.

NAME OF WEAPON/ARMOR: ROXANNE
DESCRIPTION: Roxanne originally started off as an experiment. It was a weapon that would connect with Raphael -- and enhance him. Even its name was chosen in coordination to his own; both beginning with R's and both being of Western descent. Roxanne was made from Raphael's Incubus Horns, which were not only silver, but admired for the fact that they could not be broken by any normal means. They regrew, in time, every time they were cut, and eventually, enough of them were made to forge the sword with their remains. Which was eventually sharpened and carved into being one of the strongest weapons in existence.
Roxanne's creation sealed Raphael's horn growth halting -- inevitably stopping his bloodline abilities entirely. Roxanne is, indeed, Raphael's true Nightmare form. Without it, he is a human, and cannot use anything related to his Nightmare state.
The blade itself is sharp enough, with Raphael's strength in mind, to easily cut through humans almost as if they were nothing more than jelly. It does the same to steel, leaving only the option of magic or high-tier materials to defend against the full-force of the blade. Note that I have high strength, especially in my Night Terror form, so I could likely do this with any old greatsword, really. Roxanne isn't as powerful as you think. However, its cutting ability is not what its admired for. Roxanne is its own person, in a way, and acts with Raphael's safety in mind. Roxanne's perception is unrivaled; the blade even being able to "hear" the enemy, leaping to action and acting as its own intelligence dictates. It really does the fighting for Raphael, allowing him to observe the field and perhaps even assist the blade in its own perception, making the two, together, extremely adept at reflexes and counterattacks.
The blade itself is five-feet long, and weighs a fair bit, though Raphael can easily wield it with one hand.
It has also been dyed; the hilt is black and gold.
WEAPON RANK: S (SS, SSS)
WEAPON WEAKNESSES: Due to this being an extremely powerful weapon, I decided to add a section that was not required to justify it. I will simply list the weaknesses rather than go out and explain each one in-depth:
It is required for this weapon to be held if Raphael wishes to use any bloodline abilities. (and he doesn't have his BL stat boosts or any other bonuses/weaknesses when not wielding it)
Similarly, Raphael cannot use magic if not wielding this weapon.
This can be Raphael's only weapon with special abilities unless Roxanne is tossed aside.
Roxanne completely disables elemental magic while Raphael is wielding it. Raphael can only use Roxanne's own special abilities when it comes to magic (to be added later).
This is the thing that makes me rely on it completely.
Raphael can't even use a shield with Roxanne -- the blade will refuse to be held unless it is given all attention. The only exception is in Raphael's Night Terror form, but that is only because the shield is Roxanne as well. As such, Raphael cannot dual-wield Roxanne and any other swords, he must only use Roxanne.
NOTES:
Roxanne is indeed still used in Raphael's Night Terror form, and is the only instance where Roxanne can change its own form -- though it can only be changed to the lance-form, not the bow-form.
Roxanne can only be destroyed by the combination of an S ranked skill or higher from every BL, all combined and targeted at the weapon. If this happens, the blade will immediately morph one final time -- into Raphael's lost horns... but they will, at that rate, be unable to even be touched.
If Roxanne is thrown into something where it cannot be regained from, such as lava, it will recreate itself in Raphael's hands.
However, if it is thrown somewhere where it can be regained without causing Raphael physical harm then it won't just automatically re-appear in his hands.
PASSIVE BONUSES/ABILITIES:
Roxanne gives Raphael +1 strength perpetually, and +(1) speed while dodging, since it increases his perception and allows him to put more focus into his speed while evading attacks.
This is alot like a running jump. It is higher because there is effort put into it. It's not a last-second dodge. If that makes sense. o_o
The blade is known for the fact that it is seen as "blurry" when it strikes, which is an effect that is also applied to the arm wielding the blade. This is because the blade and Raphael are constantly transferring knowledge and thoughts to eachother, which ripples their energy and causes the "blur" effect on the arm wielding the blade.
Roxanne cannot speak, but it can tell Raphael anything it sees. However, it must be unsheathed and Raphael must be awake.

Pressure
[Passive]
Nightmares naturally generate an aura of uneasiness to anyone near them, extending outwards 9 feet. If someone of lower rank is within range, the effects will escalate to paranoia. Along with the psychological effects, someone four ranks or lower will literally feel as if a great weight has been put on their body dropping their stats by 1.
Panic Spike
[C Rank]
The user jabs their fist or palm at a target, which will then burst with fear inducing energy on impact. This causes the victim to panic and attack wildly for 1 post (no skills can be used).
Terror Bomb
[B Rank]
The user builds up a solid mass of energy and fear, then proceeds to throw it at a target. Upon impact the target will suddenly enter a state of minor paranoia and will hallucinate exaggerated versions of the User and their attacks for 5 posts.
Dread
[B Rank]
After taking a deep breath, the user blows at a billow of dark fog that spreads out to a fifteen foot radius. Anything living caught in the fog except for Nightmares, will have difficulty seeing and breathing. The fog lasts for 3 posts, but can easily be blown away, it's effects will continue to last 1 post even after the victim has left or blown away the fog.
Black Reservoir

Because Nightmares tend to burn up a lot of their energy as they fight, they eventually developed a technique that would allow them to store ambient energy into their bodies. At the end of the fight, and if the Nightmare has the energy and is conscious, they can pull in 10% of the energy spent in that fight (including the enemy(ies). Black Reservoir caps at 400 energy, and can only be accessed for the duration of a fight after it's been filled.
Night Terror
[S Rank]
Night Terror allows a Nightmare to temporarily take on their true form, granting new abilities, and a physically superior body. Each individual true form must be approved before Night Terror can be used. Night Terror drains 150 energy per post. Night Terror has a 6 post cool down after it's been deactivated.
True Form grants:
- +3 stats divided as the user sees fit.
- One unique ability/skill that future custom skills can be based on (cannot be a passive skill).

A simple hack, the Warrior puts more power behind it than an ordinary swing.
Double slash
Rank: E
The Warrior does two slashes consecutively so fast it's almost as if they were at the same time.
Defensive stance
Rank: E
The warrior takes on a stance that is all defense, no offense. this allows them to sacrifice -1 strength to gain the ability to absorb up to D rank attacks. At Master, the amount they can take increases to C rank.
Offensive stance
Rank: E
The warrior takes on a stance of offense, leaving behind defense. This makes all attacks on the warrior one rank higher, but grants them +2 to speed.
Devastation
Rank: D
A smaller version of the berserkers rift, the warrior slams their fist into the ground, causing a shockwave to knock the enemy off their feet.
Taunt
Rank: D
The enemy suddenly becomes angered by the Warrior, wanting nothing more than to kill him. They won't attack anyone else, even if someone else is giving them worse damage than the warrior.
Energy sword

You create a sword of pure energy. It's as strong as steel.
Sword throw
Rank: C
Not recommended if you're only carrying one sword. The Warrior throws the sword, and it travels at the speed of an arrow. It deals rank B damage if it hits.
Rock Solid defense
Rank: C
The Warrior takes a firm stance, not able to be knocked back by anything below a B ranked attack.
Iron grip
Rank: C
limitation: Must be used before someone tries to knock you weapon away.
The Warrior tightens their grip on their weapon, which lasts for five posts. Suring this time, the Warrior and the sword are inseparable.
Slap
Rank: C
The user hits the enemy with the flat of the blade. This is an instant knockout if they hit their head.
Whirling Decapitation
Rank: B
The Warrior puts energy around them to augment their movement, in which they begin a whirlwind of slashes and cuts at an unnatural pace. Even swinging a greatsword, the sword will appear to be a blur.
Whirling butcher
Rank: B
Requires: Whirling decapitation
The warrior uses whirling decapitation, but imbues their sword with energy as well, so that sword can float in the air and do its own slashing bit while they pull out a second weapon and use that instead.
Pinpoint strikes
Rank: B
In exchange for -1 to speed, you begin to look for vital spots and chinks in armor, dealing 1 rank higher in damage. This lasts 5 posts.
Whirling blade
Rank: A
Requires: Whirling Decapitation, Whirling Butcher, Energy Sword
You do the whirling decapitation and the whirling butcher bit, but you throw your second sword in the air. Then, you create an energy sword and start using that for your actual sword, adding on to the mass of blurry slashes.
Shrapnel Cloud
Rank: S
Requires: Whirling Decapitation, Whirling Butcher, Energy Sword, Whirling Blade
You combine all of the moves stated in the requirement, but you throw that energy sword in the air as well. this will destroy both weapons you threw in the air, for a fair warning. you then concentrate your energy, and the swords blow up into thousands of pieces of shrapnel, literally enveloping you in a cloud of whirling metal. This attack will shred anything that comes within reach of it, excluding energy attacks. However, elemental attacks will be absorbed as well. This skill lasts six posts, and has a 10 post cool down.

The Crimson Cross's energy goes into your eyes and allows you to the energy of other people making Crimson Mist and this skill a good combo.

DESCRIPTION:
A style crafted over time as time came and went, only after a while, once it met its peak, had it begun to even be considered as a "style" at all. It was a simple form that finally escaped from the whole "rip everything" aspect of greatswords.
It was the procedure of keeping your blade -- holding it with both arms -- in a certain area (it can be any area, from above your head, to your shoulder, to your waist or even next to your legs) and suddenly striking in front of you with enough force to rip through most obstacles. Eventually, energy was added to this style to make it even more destructive, but in the beginning, when learning the basics, magic is not at all involved.
SKILLS
BEGINNER
Render of Flesh and Steel (E/PASSIVE): The simple fact that all strikes within this style and its abilities are given a +1 strength boost, for they are charged and released, which obviously instills a much greater level of force.
A Step, a Swing, a Mortal blow (E) : This is actually, surprisingly, also a passive ability of this style. It is the simple act of charging your blade at the side, even if only for less than a second, and releasing it with a full swing. It's not yet very adept at fighting other swordsmen closely, for they won't really give you the time to carry this out, but it's good against many armored opponents or weak monsters.
X Blade (E): This is a quick blow that raises the blade, before slashing twice in different angles, making an "X" in whichever area you touch. This is also a starting form of the later ability "Phantom X", though this attack is clearly much weaker.
VETERAN
Admirable Illusion (C): This is when the whole "energy" part of the style finally steps in. This a simple strike, as always, but it carries a purple energy aura that follows the blow. The beautiful part of it all is that this tricks enemies. They will believe that the sword is simply striking hard, thus the cause for the energy trail, and will block the sword, but the sword is not the real threat. The purple aura that followed will immediately strike right after the sword did, with +5 strength tied in with this strike, leaving nearly ANYONE to feel a great smash of force, either disarming them or sending them to the floor. It is best to dodge this ability, but most people continue to believe that they can counter-attack this; perhaps until the very end.
WINDCUTTER (B): The "windcutter" is supposedly a simple skill at first, but many have called it "double whirlwind" for the fact that it strikes twice, much like the Admirable Illusion. First, the user will spin and slash, with their greatsword, all things around them, much like a windmill. However, like the skill before, the purple trail of energy follows the whirlwind. There is a pause after this ability, but as soon as the pause ends, anything cut with the blade will be slashed in five different areas -- depending on their position -- twice. The first slashes are of the normal +1 strength, but the second are of +3. Unarmored opponents rarely ever survive this powerful spin.
REAPER'S SWING (B): For one simple attack, the blade of the user will appear almost as a scythe, slashing forward with incredible speed and strength. If it hits, it will leave a purple pair of energy-formed wings wherever it struck. Then, three posts from that moment, the user may strike again, even if the enemy is no longer even near him, slashing at the prior spot, almost as if it were at point-blank range, often rending armor or flesh.
RIPPER
PHANTOM X (A): This ability is possibly one of the strongest abilities of the style, despite being easier to learn than some of the higher-ranking ones. It is alot like "X Blade", except, the second strike is invisible. The enemy cannot see you do it, though there is a slight energy trace. At this point, it's best to try and keep your distance from the ripper. The second strike is not very good against heavily-armored opponents, but can easily rip through flesh before they even know what just happened. It can only be done once a battle, however, and is thus best not wasted.
RIPJAW (A): Similar to Phantom X, as it was modeled after it, RIPJAW is nearly the same thing except, it is a strike that is held above the head and then released downwards, which is then quickly followed by an invisible -- or simply extremely quick -- strike upwards, the blade hoping to cut whatever is before them in half. It can also only be done once, though it allows one more chance incase Phantom X fails.
SHRED (A): Despite its name, "SHRED" is simply a defensive move in where the user wields their blade with one hand -- regardless of strength -- and focuses completely on parrying, staring at the traces and movements of nearly every strike the enemy surmounts, a skill they learned to master while learning their other ripper abilities.
REAP (S): Possibly a fatal move, for both sides, the user will allow the enemy to possibly strike them, and as soon as the enemies weapon is at a point where it cannot defend the user, the ripper will flash-step behind the enemy, slashing with massive force in an all-out attempt to rip off their head. This strike gives a +10 strength boost, making it one of the most powerful strikes in existence. It can only be used once every other week.
SLAUGHTER ME WHOLE (S): The strongest "illusion" of all -- this ability is one of extreme irony, to the point where it reverses life and death. However, you cannot block while using it, and therefore it is extremely risky, and will rarely come to occur -- if even once. It is the dreadful ability to make the enemy see what is not real. The enemy, in their mind, will have won the battle. You have been struck down, killed. But it's not true. In their eyes, they see you die, but it's an illusion; disappeared before they even swung. And by the time they're even done withdrawing their weapon, you've already cut off their head.
Simply, as soon as you placed the illusion, your apparent "disappearance" was actually a silent movement -- directly to their blind spot.
.night terror.

DESCRIPTION: The Night Terror form of Raphael, this form is generally depicted as a centaur wielding, with one arm, a figure much like a bow. However, it is not limited to this, and heck, it is not even limited to a centaur form. This is simply a variant of the general Nightmare Form, which is in itself called "Blackbringer."
As it is, there are only two forms of the Abyss Bringer. The centaur, bow-wielding form, as seen above and here:

And the lance-wielding, humanoid shape.
(+2/+1)

Both versions are heavily armored, though obviously, the lance-wielding form is moreso, for it has a shield and Raphael doesn't really have to think about his lower body. The maximum arrows carried is still applied to the bow-wielding form, though it may shoot ten arrows in one shot, and thus blows them off quicker. The armor itself is obsidian, as well as the shield, and the lance and bow are both as thick as stone. If the armor is broken it will reveal a simple silver-skinned body, though at that rate transformation to the Centaur state would be impossible.
The Nightmare form may fly regardless of state, though as the centaur form it can only be done for three posts at a time, as it obviously would not be easy to carry up a gigantic lower body such as its own.
Jumping in the centaur form is increased by a great height, but in that state, Raphael generally relies on his arrows killing the enemies before they can reach him. It's obvious by the shape of the body that it is not easy to maneuver in most situations in that form, and that in itself is perhaps its greatest weakness.
Form-shifting can be done once a post, it's as simple as his body morphing a slight bit.
FORM-ONLY SKILLS:
Abyssal Barrage -- With this skill, Raphael will simply hold out the bow as it shoots arrows endlessly, the bow's position allowing itself to be shifted, even through the barrage. This is done as a last resort or against unarmored enemies, and is mostly used when Raphael fears the enemy getting too close to him. Each post with this active costs fifty arrows and fifty energy -- making it only possible for a limited number of posts, at any rank. The barrage, however, can only be done three times a battle, for adjusting your arm to firing that many overmuch would cause it great strain.

Rules for lance-form:
* Sword styles may be used with the lance
* The lance is as long as your body
* Lances may be made with both arms, it is not required to have one shield and one lance. However, it is also not possible to have two shields.
* The lance is sharp enough to pierce and cut steel like paper.
* The lance may be twisted at rapid speeds, thus making it a "drill". However, this cannot be done for more than ten posts a battle, or it will break your arm.
Rules for the bow-form:
* The bow-form may have a shield strapped against their arm, though this will decrease the bow drawing speed by one.
* It is possible to have a humanoid form while using the bow, but the Abyssal Barrage may not be used this way.
* Fully standing, the centaur-form makes you about fifteen feet tall.
* Your hoofs are indeed powerful enough to smash someone's skull if enough force is put into the blow.
* The arrows can easily impale skin, perhaps even through armor, though they are not very good at piercing through shields.

Raphael's background is long and complex, but in this brief description, I will get to the point. When Sutami fell from the sky, Raphael fled from those lands with all of his courage. He hoped to find a new life, but instead, he was indoctrinated. He no longer held control of his own body, and eventually, it was almost as if he had simply become a summon. Hatred and rage molded his body, and this finally exploded when the man cut off his wings to prevent any further attempt at escape. He became a "Nightmare" -- slicing off the head of his controller and destroying all other controlled specimens within his disposal. At this rate, hateful of the world around him, he spent weeks upon months into finding a method of escape.
And he found it. Rykros. Though finding a way here was simply winning the game, to him, rather than winning hope.
