History: For right this moment, a very rough outline of her history before I forget what I've come up with. Sa'adat was originally from a small island in this world's equivalent of the Middle East (specifically Bahrain). Her mother knew from the time she was born that she would one day have to evacuate her daughter from their country before it was too late. Her father was killed in one of their many civil wars while she was still very young. Her mother was from a wealthier, more educated family. From the time Sa'adat could speak, her mother was teaching her to speak in many tongues, and learning her in ways most children never were exposed to. When the girl was ten, it was announced that she would be married off. Her mother, remembering what it had done to her and wanting more for her daughter, packed their things and stole away. She packed up their things and the two disappeared into the night. For four years they hid amidst the chaos of war. Until they were discovered. They came for them. They took her mother and, rumor has it, she is still a slave in her own lands. Sa'adat escaped, and began her journey to freedom. Being taught since she was young, the girl fared well on her own. For months she traveled, finally boarding a ship headed for Sunderland.
