Being an Eternal Senshi gave Remarque a lot of leeway when it came to where he could be, when he wanted to be. He'd never had a particularly difficult time when it came to dealing with the riff-raff of the White Moon Kingdom, though there was something particularly enjoyable now that he figured he was top of the food chain. Not an inch of Destiny City wasn't open to him—and he was taking advantage of that fact.

When he was first starting, he'd stuck to the park—stuck to draining the energy of the homeless population. People who wouldn't be missed—people who no one cared about. They were easy prey, and therefore were the perfect members of society to pick off.

But that had gotten boring.

He'd drifted to different parts of the city—darker, more dangerous parts. He liked the high risk, and he liked the additional rush of energy that came with picking off people in a more social environment.

A part of him wanted to get caught—just for the thrill of it.

Which was probably why he was so reckless tonight.

Usually he kept to the shadows when there were too many people around—lay in wait for the perfect prey to fall into his trap.

But then that was getting boring, too.

Sitting in the shadows or perusing dark alleyways for hours on end—sometimes with little or no energy to gather—was something he needed to take a break from.

He didn't direct himself to the most crowded corners of Destiny City, but he was not particularly discrete in where he was venturing. There were a number of energy signatures around, though he didn't seem to mind them. Most were flickering on his radar—too far away for him to really care to chase down.

Which left the nearby citizens of Destiny City all to him. For the most part.
