For the most part, Tomoya is a very calm, collected individual. He is kind and compassionate to the people he comes across, providing himself as a helpful, go-to kind of person if someone ever needs help. He enjoys helping people in various different ways; comforting them when they are sad, trying to provide advice for them to improve themselves, or simply just doing a chore or task for them. He is gentle, and and not violent or battle hungry at all. He would be content to live in a world of peace if he could, though that seems to be an impossible dream.
One of his philosophies is that nobody should ever be killed, no matter for cruel or evil they seem. Not to say that he would hesitate in battle at all, but he usually incapacitates his opponent to the point that they can no longer fight. From there, he'll let one of his allies decide what to do with him. He believes that protecting trumps killing in all aspects.
Without a doubt, the closest person to him is Kanami Hirase. Since she was chosen to become the head of the Hirase house when her parents either retired or died, he was chosen as a personal servant and bodyguard for her.

History:
Tomoya doesn't like to talk about his history too much, in fact the only one he may have told the whole story too is Kanami, since he feels closest to her among all others.
He was born in a rough Rukon District, he never specified, but it was probably Zaraki or one of the districts that are just known for their crime infested streets and the violent people that live in it. There, in a small house, the Atsushi Family lived.. Despite their small house, they lived oddly happy lives, they considered every day and just each others company a gift, because knowing here that could be taken away at any moment.. They were strangely nice for people who lived in such a district, but that didn't mean they didn't know how to fight. That's one of the reasons they were able to live so happily, both Tomoya's Mother and Father were extremely skilled fighters and were able to protect themselves and their precious child, Tomoya of course. Everything they did, it was usually to make sure Tomoya was safe, if they could have they would have moved out of the district, into another, but no one would buy their house, so they had no money to do such a thing.. So they made the post of their lives.
It was the age of eight when everything changed.. Tomoya, considered himself 'helpless' because his parents always did everything, and he didn't have any sort of fancy powers that let him defend himself or help his parents, though they insisted that was okay, he finally believed them over the years.. That's when one night, Tomoya was curled up in his bed before the sound of shattering glass echoed, he was the only one that awoke at first, and he slowly peered out of his room, seeing two people climbing in through the window, though before he could make a noise, one of his parents put their hands over his mouth and pulled him back into their room, moving towards the corner that had the closet.. They told Tomoya not to worry, that they would protect him and take care of those that were breaking into the house.. That he just had to hide in the closet until then. Those.. Were the last words that were spoken to him by his parents. They moved out of the room to confront the intruders, before the scream of his mother echoed, it was blood curdling, and it made tears well up in Tomoya's eyes, thuds and the struggle grew louder while his mother cried out again before a loud thud, sounding like a drop echoed.. Then his father screamed his wife's name, before a gasp of pain echoed.. Tomoya, was hoping that it was the criminals that fell and gasped in pain.. Though in the back of his mind he knew it was his parents.. He heard footsteps as two figures entered the room, looking through random dressers and drawers, remarking that this family seemed to have nothing, Tomoya watched through a hole in the closet door, seeing the faces.. Then hid himself in the back of the closet, curled up.. They didn't bother to check the closet, because every other part of the house had nothing, why would they have anything besides some shitty clothes in the closet? The criminals left the house, not ever knowing ther ewas a third person in the house.. Tomoya just stayed in the closet, just crying to himself.. Still trying to hide behind the belief that his parents would come back and get him out of the closet..
It was three days later of just sitting in that closet.. He hadn't moved at all, he hasn't slept, eaten, or drank anything.. He just sat there, waiting behind the false belief.. Until he finally passed out, there his body started to glow, before the closet door opened, and a hand gently stroked the side of his head. "Common.. Let's get you out of here." A woman's voice echoed quietly before picking him up, and carrying him out of his parents room.. When he awoke who knows how many hours later, he was laying in his bed.. Confused, he started to look around.. Seeing that the house was actually cleaned up, the window was broken still, but the glass was swept up in a dustpan.. There was no blood, not a mess in the house, and when he looked out a window in the back of the house, he saw a woman sitting out on the ground, in front of two crosses that were made out of pieces of a broken door. He went outside to see who this woman was.. Though a surprise awaited when he got close.. There were two patches of dirt that were freshly dug up and then reburied, and the crosses had inscriptions etched into them. "--- and --- Atsushi.. Both kind hearted individuals that made living in district Zaraki a bit more bearable, they made it clear that even in such cruel places of the world, there would always be someone ready to welcome you with open arms.. They had a single child, Tomoya Atsushi, who they raised and protected in even their final moments. Their memory will live on in their child. Rest in Peace, --- and ---." Reading the inscription, the boy grew teary eyed once again before he asked who the woman was, she only smiled softly and said. "Think about it.. You already know who I am, Tomoya-san." It took him a moment.. Wiping the tears away from his eyes, before they lit up for a moment, before quietly whispering her name. "Kūhaku Dangan" She only smiled and nodded, before standing up, telling him to hold out his hands.. Doing so, she started to glow, before turning into energy as a gun suddenly formed in his hand.. He.. Now had a Zanpakuto. Such information.. It made his mind wander, though before he could move from there, the woman's voice echoed in his head. '.. Before you do anything.. Get something to eat, then we can go.'
Of course.. He had something on my mind.. Now that he had something he could finally use.. Something that allowed him to finally fight.. He figured out how his Zanpakuto worked in it's sealed state.. By focusing and pulling the trigger, he could release bursts of reishi, of course he couldn't do it a lot since he was just starting out.. It was enough to do what he wanted.. He wanted to kill those who killed his parents.. He wanted to make them pay.. He recognized their faces, they were people that he and his parents had encountered before on the streets.. He knew a place that they went to, of course, it was a sort of bar.. It was a start.. He took some time to find that bar, and it was actually, at this point, in the middle of the night.. And just his luck? They were leaving the bar when he found it, so he would try to sneak around and follow them.. He was small and quick, that'd work in his favor.. At least.. So he thought.. After he followed them a few blocks, he stopped playing follow the leader, he stepped out and pulled the trigger, he was aiming to shoot for the heart from behind, but his aim was really bad, he ended up shooting the back of the persons knee, causing him to fall to the ground, but alert the partner that he was there.. Now things were picking up. He tried to run around and shoot again, this time the bullet missed, and he was so small, the other one got to him in no time and threw him against the wall, then started to ask why some punk kid had a gun and was trying to shoot them. "You killed my mom and dad! You deserve to die too! They were good people!" One thing that the one that wasn't shot actually said something in return, while Tomoya managed to shoot the one on the ground again. "How can you be so sure about that kid? Everyone here is a criminal one way or another, even you. Look at ya, you're here trying to kill us. Little punk a**." He said before moving over towards Tomoya, while Tomoya moved towards the one on the ground finally pointing the gun down at his head as he shouted. "Stop or I'll shoot!" Before suddenly, the gun was knocked out of his hand, his eyes widening as a figure blurred, knocking the guy on the ground away, knocking him unconscious and sliding him over to the wall, then quickly knocking out the other guy, placing him with his partner, suddenly the tall figure appeared right in front of Tomoya, while he simply yelled. "W-What are you doing?!" "What am I doing? I'm stopping you from killing each other.." "But they deserve to die for what they did!" With that last sentence, the mysterious man only frowned. ".. And what did they do to deserve to be killed?" "They killed my parents!" ".. You're taking a path of revenge.. You're wanting to kill people for killing people.. You know, that makes you no better than them.. Did you think that maybe your parents killed someone they cared about? Or, that if you killed them, someone that cared about them would come after you? .. The path of revenge is nothing but a path of self destruction.. No one.. Absolutely no one deserves to be killed.. If they have done crimes, they will get whats coming to them in time.. It is not up to US to decide when that is though! It's called Fate, and it'll get us all one day.." His words.. They just froze Tomoya.. He was utterly speechless.. ".. I heard you.. You said they were good people.. Do you really think they'd want their son going off killing people? Honestly.. What would they think if they knew you were trying to kill someone?" It was there.. Tomoya just looked down.. He was disappointed with himself. "You're right.." He said quietly, before just dropping to his knees.. He.. Just wasn't sure what to do now.. The man, looked down at Tomoya before walking over and picking up the Zanpakuto, then held his hand out to Tomoya. "Common.. They'll be moving again soon." There.. He and Tomoya just went away.
Over the next couple of years, Tomoya lived with the mysterious man that saved him from himself that day, he taught him a lot of things in that time.. Both combat related, ability related, and philosophy related.. This man was a teacher to Tomoya, and he had learned so much in such a short time.. He learned what he wanted to do with his life, and how to even use Shikai partly with his Zanpakuto.. Then he was sent on his way, the last words the man told him was. "Pay me a visit after you've found the path you'll walk." Tomoya has yet to see the man since that day.. It was at the age of eleven that his life, once again changed.. Only about a year later too, he was just exiting a shop that he had bought a gun holster for his Zanpakuto in, though he complained to his Zanpakuto that he had to spend his food budget for the next couple days to buy her her new home, she only said it was his fault. With a sigh, he started to walk off before he was pushed aside by two brutes, that made their way over to an innocent looking blue haired girl. Tomoya watched curiously, wondering why such a girl, even younger than himself was wandering the streets along.. Then suddenly the two grabbed her, Tomoya managed to over hear the name "Hirase", so it was clear why they were abducting her, he tried to spring into action, drawing his gun before the male thug blasted him away with Kido, then the two took off.. Tomoya, was quick to follow though. The thugs took Kanami to an abandoned building, hiding her in the basement while they tried to figure out a ransom that was suitable for the girl, she was tied up in a chair.. He snuck in, and tried to undo her ropes in secrecy, telling her that once he gave her the signal, to make a run for it.. Though they caught onto him, so he had to act. Trying to open fire on the thugs, though his shots mostly missed, only skimming the female thug, before he tried to get Kanami to run.. The male thug, who went by the name of Kugo went after Tomoya while his partner went after Kanami, though Tomoya was ready to fight, he was taken down quickly with a move that Kugo used known as Shotgun Sho, something he had never heard of before.. It very well cracked some of Tomoya's ribs and launched him into the back wall, Kanami tried to come to his aid before she moved in between him and Kugo.. Where Kugo tried to knock her out and move her, Tomoya quickly moved, suddenly activating his shikai and blasting off Kugo's arm. Then thug two arrived, and chained the two up together.. It seemed the fate of the two was sealed, Kanami would be sold back to her parents, and Tomoya was to be killed by Kugo for interfering and blowing off his arm.. Though his plans didn't go too well when another figure picked up Tomoya's gun, and suddenly the other thug fell to the ground, utterly paralyzed for some odd reason until the Zanpakuto of Tomoya was cutting the ropes that bound them, before they started to run while she returned to her gun state, though Kugo went after them.. He was pissed, chasing after them, he brought up his other arm before he approached the two. "I've had enough of you two little punks! Sho Cannon!!!" He said before throwing his arm forward, and suddenly releasing a massive burst, while Tomoya threw Kanami out of the way, and turned pointing the gun towards Kugo. "Kizetsu Gazō! (Stun Shot.)" The burst of energy from Tomoya flew and blasted Kugo, who already had his arm blown apart by the Sho Cannon, while the Sho Cannon slammed against Tomoya and blew him away, into a wall before knocking it to the ground entirely.. Kanami, finally seeing him after the attack ran to his side, seeing he was still alive.. Though strangely, though he was in so much pain, he asked. "You're.. Okay.. Right..?" Before falling unconscious, where Kanami and his Zanpakuto carried his body carefully back to the manor..
He awoke again after various hours, he was inpain, but he was wrapped up and healed.. Mostly just sore from all that happened, and he saw Kanami walking in.. She was okay.. That was good, that's all he needed to know.. They talked for a bit, then she went out and got him food, then came back with the Zanpakuto Spirit joining them, who actually had a present for Tomoya, the bandage wrap that Kugo used for his Sho techniques, also known as 'Sho Tech'. Though the happy moment soon came to an end when Kanami said that they should tell his parents where he is, so they don't worry.. He tried lie and tell his Zanpakuto to pretend to call and talk to someone, though as she did.. The phone rang, their cover was blown.. There, he was forced to explain that his parents were gone, and his only family was his Zanpakuto, he had no place to live, because he roamed.. By surprise, she actually suggested he stayed here, sure that her parents would allow it.. He couldn't just accept without doing anything in return though.. It was said they would figure something out..
It was decided, that because of Tomoya's skill and willingness to put his life down for Kanami, who was the future heir to the Hirase Family, he would be her protector, and he would grow up with her and serve her.. He gladly accepted such terms, and moved into the Hirase Manor.. He finally found his path, and it was to serve and protect Kanami.. Over the years, he trained, and secretly gained the ability to use Bankai, and trained with the Sho tech, the friendship between Kanami and Tomoya grew.. It was in recent years, that he had part of him think of her in another way, though he usually tried to not let such thoughts control him, after all.. He was the help, and he was her servant.
─Zanpakuto Information {Sealed}─
Zanpakuto Name:
Kūhaku Dangan (空白弾丸; Blank Bullet)
Zanpakuto Appearance:
Kūhaku Dangan is a very unique Zanpakuto, why? Because it never even took the form of a sword! It actually takes the form of a silver handgun, a pistol, that rests in a holster that Tomoya buys for it. It seems to look like an ordinary handgun, nothing more nothing less, except it doesn't have a gun clip you put in the bottom of it, because the shots of this gun are made of compressed Reishi/Reiatsu, rather than actual bullets.
Zanpakuto Spirit:
Kūhaku Dangan is known to have long black hair and dim blue eyes, her skin is light color like most of those around the Hirase Manor. She is actually dressed in a maid outfit because of her work for the Hirase Family, she acts as a maid and a bodyguard for Kanami Hirase, like Tomoya acts as a Servant and Bodyguard
Kūhaku Dangan, unlike her master isn't quite as kind, she is very nice around Kanami and her master, as well as the Hirase Family.. But various times when they fight against someone, and she actually talks, she will make remarks to the fallen opponent. "You're lucky my master isn't a killer, or I'd splatter your brains all over the floor."
Inner World:
Abandoned City
The inner world of Tomoya's Zanpakuto is an entirely abandoned city, that seems to be in ruins, with various plants and vines growing from the ground and on structures, there are collapsed bridges, and ruined buildings.. As if a city went into utter chaos before it was utterly abandoned.. Here, the Zanpakuto Spirit is often found just hanging around on buildings, that is.. On the few occasions she'sactually in her Zanpakuto, because of her job though, she's usually out as a maid in the Hirase Manor.
Basic Zanpakuto Attacks/Powers:
Reishi Blasts and Bullets:
The power behind Kūhaku Dangan is it's ability to manipulate the reiatsu and reishi of both the Master and Zanpakuto, and compress it into the gun in an instant, before the pulling of the trigger would release the reishi/reiatsu in either a compressed bullet that could either act as a regular bullet, or explode upon contact with something. Another way of releasing the energy is in a beam of energy, much like a Cero (Think Coyote Starrk with this.) Of course, the beam is smaller than that of a Cero, it can still be fairly powerful, having the power of a medium level Kido Spell.
Shots can often be fired at rapid succession, though the beam at rapid fire is significantly slower than the bullets because it takes longer to charge. When bullets are charging, reishi will gather at the shaft, while the beam, small waves of reishi will form at the end of the gun then just fire as a beam.
Kizetsu Gazō (気絶画像; Stun Shot):
One of his ways to avoid killing an opponent is with this very technique, by arranging his reishi to compress in a specific way, he can fire a bullet that is capable of striking the very nervous system with reishi, rather than burning/blowing through the skin, it passes through living organisms, usually whatever point of the body that the shot hit's, it strikes the very nerves in that point and within a range of that point, given it creates a pulse of reiatsu with the same effect.. This strike and pulse effect the nervous system by literally paralyzing the nerves, rendering whatever is shot immobile because of paralysis, while hitting limbs only effect that limb, if it manages to hit a part of the spine, since it is sending that paralyzing pulse through the spine, it paralyzes anything below that point as well, much like if the spine was injured and it causes paralysis. So if one was to get hit in the upper spine, it would render almost the entire body except for the head paralyzed.

Shikai Appearance:
The pistol itself, strangely stays the same shape for the most part, except the pistol is almost now basically a handle as a very large blade sprouts out of the gun, turning the pistol into a gunblade, while along the blade there still is an opening for bullets to exit out of, when the firing process it's being used, it covers to form a tip for the blade.
Shikai Abilities:
Enhanced Sealed State Techniques:
The techniques that are usable in the sealed state are still used frequently in the Shikai state, here the abilities are actually furtherly enhanced. Such as the power of the bullets and beams, as well as the fire rate of such attacks. The Kizetsu Gazō is also enhanced to a point that it has a wider and quicker paralysis effect.
Shikai Techniques:
Sanpu Gazō (散布画像; Scatter Shot):
An ability gained in the shikai state, by compressing quite a bit more reishi than usual, which is visible by watching reishi swirl and channel through his arm into the pistol, it takes a few moments to charge, though once it's charged, he can call the technique name and pull the trigger, there a single bullet will fire out of the gunblade like it does usually, but the moment it leaves, it separates into at least ten different shots that rush towards the opponent.
He is also capable of doing pretty much the same thing with the beam form, charging it at the tip of the gunblade before calling the technique and releasing the energy, and as it fires, it separates into five reiatsu beams. All divided attacks are a bit weaker than the single shots, but their multiple shots greatly makes up for the lessened power.
Ken Gazō (剣画像; Sword Shot):
By collecting reiatsu/reishi around the sword itself, it can compress to match the exact shape of the blade, this technique is often known to be charging from the moment that the Shikai is released, meaning through the progress of battle the sword will start glowing to show the reishi charging around it. When it's finally released, he'll call the name and thrust his gunblade forward, pulling the trigger the energy will fly off, matching the same shape of the blade, it will travel at high speeds towards the target, and because of it's shape, it actually has sharpness to allow it to cut through things if the target manages to put something in the way to try and stop it.. Strangely, even when it is stopped, it will only be stabbed into something, it wont fade like most reishi constructed attacks, it will remain solid until Tomoya says the word. "Detonate", there, the reishi sword will explode in a large explosion, large enough to probably engulf a large portion of the Hirase Manor, at least at it's largest.. It takes ten posts in Shikai state to charge up one of that power.
─Zanpakuto Information {Bankai; Secret}─

Honestly, her appearance doesn't change all that much, her maid uniform remains the same, and her physical appearance stays the same, the only difference is she summons a incredibly massive gun that she can wield with a single hand, her personality does become more serious though, since she considers the large gun unable to 'spare a life', she thinks it can only blast to oblivion.
Bankai Appearance:
The same as the Spirit appearance, there aren't any physical changes in Tomoya's appearance, just the weapon itself becomes an incredibly massive gun.
Bankai Attacks/Abilities:
The Bankai itself only has one ability, and that is firing a single shot.. The Bankai is a one shot before returning to it's Sealed or Shikai state. The large scope lets Tomoya aim, it only taking seconds to completely lock on a target, whether moving or not, before charging up his reishi into the gun, which waves of reishi will flow into the end of the gun, while a gauge lights up along the shaft.. Once it's fully charged, and it's locked on a target, he'll pull the trigger, which will release a massive burst of energy that causes the gun to crack apart, completely breaking apart before reforming the smaller gun of one of the previous states, the force of the blast usually being enough to actually blast Tomoya back.. The blast of energy, very compressed is locked on the specific reiatsu signature of the target, though despite this it cannot be distracted by an attack that is created by the target, because the target has the strongest source of the reiatsu signature. This compressed attack, once it hits something with enough force to detonate it, it triggers a massive explosion, one that is capable engulfing the entire Hirase Manor in such an attack and leave nothing but a deep crater in it's place.. The explosion, not only is it large and powerful enough to completely destroy the manor, but it releases so much airpressure it can completely uproot trees and launch countless things away with just sear force of airpressure.

Almost ten years ago, when Tomoya met Kanami, he encountered a thug that had a strange ability, it was to utilize Sho to something far more than what it was actually capable of, turning the weakest hado spell into something that can be very deadly.. However, it wasn't a personal technique, it was actually due to a special device that now Tomoya has a hold of. They are like a thick bandage/cloth wrap that usually remains wrapped around his hands, it is washable, and he has been known to take them off and actually patch Kanami up with them temporarily. These wraps are capable of charging quite a bit of reiatsu up inside the strange fabric, only with the Hado Spell Sho can this energy be released. There are three stages to the "Sho Tech" known as Gunshot Sho, Shotgun Sho, and Sho Cannon.
Gunshot Sho:
The most basic Sho Tech technique, by charging up a Sho for a single post. (Meaning starts charging in one post, then can fire in the next.) He can release a force of energy that feels like a gunshot, which can cause quite a bit of pain in a body, possibly even capable of cracking or breaking bones. Though if he charges up a Gunshot Sho for multiple posts, he can release multiple Gunshot Sho's at rapid succession by swinging his fists like punches.
Shotgun Sho:
A far more dangerous version of Gunshot Sho, by charging up Sho energy for three posts, the energy that is in the hand will occasionally spark or static around the fist, showing the power dwelling within. When it's released, it's usually done at close distance for it's most powerful effect, it sends a pulse of energy through the body that can easily shatter bones and disrupt, if not do critical damage to organs before launching the victim back at high speeds, with usually enough force to send them crashing, and almost breaking through a wall. Shotgun Sho usually leaves the hand tingling, if used multiple times it can actually damage the users hand.
Sho Cannon:
The most deadly of the Sho Tech techniques, as well as something that makes the weakest Hado spell comparable to very high leveled spells. By charging up Sho energy for ten posts, energy will start to spark rapidly around the fist. When it's finally ready to be used, the user will wrap their free hand around the wrist of the other arm and thrust the Sho Cannon arm forward, calling the technique, there, a incredible amount of power will be released in a single, invisible burst, the only indication of the release of power is the air around the arm flaring up in a burst of flight for a moment, and the caster being put into pain. The force of this power rips apart the ground as it travels towards it's target, and even after it makes impact, severely damaging the area in front of the caster.. The power of this technique may be over looked because it involves the weakest of Kido spells, but it's power is capable of completely blowing apart a victims body, and it's even possible to blow apart the casters body. If it isn't enough to kill a victim, it will cause critical internal damage to the body, including the bones and organs.
While this technique can be considered a trump card in battle, it is more of a last resort, because this technique can kill the caster after multiple uses in a short amount of time.. The first Sho Cannon severely damages the arm, often breaking apart the bones inside the arm... The second Sho Cannon, is strangely more powerful than the first always, at least double the power of the first Sho Cannon.. This time when it's used, it is capable of severely damaging the users body, if not killing the user.. The Third, it's power is unknown, but it is capable of completely blowing apart the user.

For the most part, Tomoya is a very calm, collected individual. He is kind and compassionate to the people he comes across, providing himself as a helpful, go-to kind of person if someone ever needs help. He enjoys helping people in various different ways; comforting them when they are sad, trying to provide advice for them to improve themselves, or simply just doing a chore or task for them. He is gentle, and and not violent or battle hungry at all. He would be content to live in a world of peace if he could, though that seems to be an impossible dream.
One of his philosophies is that nobody should ever be killed, no matter for cruel or evil they seem. Not to say that he would hesitate in battle at all, but he usually incapacitates his opponent to the point that they can no longer fight. From there, he'll let one of his allies decide what to do with him. He believes that protecting trumps killing in all aspects.
Without a doubt, the closest person to him is Kanami Hirase. Since she was chosen to become the head of the Hirase house when her parents either retired or died, he was chosen as a personal servant and bodyguard for her.

History:
Tomoya doesn't like to talk about his history too much, in fact the only one he may have told the whole story too is Kanami, since he feels closest to her among all others.
He was born in a rough Rukon District, he never specified, but it was probably Zaraki or one of the districts that are just known for their crime infested streets and the violent people that live in it. There, in a small house, the Atsushi Family lived.. Despite their small house, they lived oddly happy lives, they considered every day and just each others company a gift, because knowing here that could be taken away at any moment.. They were strangely nice for people who lived in such a district, but that didn't mean they didn't know how to fight. That's one of the reasons they were able to live so happily, both Tomoya's Mother and Father were extremely skilled fighters and were able to protect themselves and their precious child, Tomoya of course. Everything they did, it was usually to make sure Tomoya was safe, if they could have they would have moved out of the district, into another, but no one would buy their house, so they had no money to do such a thing.. So they made the post of their lives.
It was the age of eight when everything changed.. Tomoya, considered himself 'helpless' because his parents always did everything, and he didn't have any sort of fancy powers that let him defend himself or help his parents, though they insisted that was okay, he finally believed them over the years.. That's when one night, Tomoya was curled up in his bed before the sound of shattering glass echoed, he was the only one that awoke at first, and he slowly peered out of his room, seeing two people climbing in through the window, though before he could make a noise, one of his parents put their hands over his mouth and pulled him back into their room, moving towards the corner that had the closet.. They told Tomoya not to worry, that they would protect him and take care of those that were breaking into the house.. That he just had to hide in the closet until then. Those.. Were the last words that were spoken to him by his parents. They moved out of the room to confront the intruders, before the scream of his mother echoed, it was blood curdling, and it made tears well up in Tomoya's eyes, thuds and the struggle grew louder while his mother cried out again before a loud thud, sounding like a drop echoed.. Then his father screamed his wife's name, before a gasp of pain echoed.. Tomoya, was hoping that it was the criminals that fell and gasped in pain.. Though in the back of his mind he knew it was his parents.. He heard footsteps as two figures entered the room, looking through random dressers and drawers, remarking that this family seemed to have nothing, Tomoya watched through a hole in the closet door, seeing the faces.. Then hid himself in the back of the closet, curled up.. They didn't bother to check the closet, because every other part of the house had nothing, why would they have anything besides some shitty clothes in the closet? The criminals left the house, not ever knowing ther ewas a third person in the house.. Tomoya just stayed in the closet, just crying to himself.. Still trying to hide behind the belief that his parents would come back and get him out of the closet..
It was three days later of just sitting in that closet.. He hadn't moved at all, he hasn't slept, eaten, or drank anything.. He just sat there, waiting behind the false belief.. Until he finally passed out, there his body started to glow, before the closet door opened, and a hand gently stroked the side of his head. "Common.. Let's get you out of here." A woman's voice echoed quietly before picking him up, and carrying him out of his parents room.. When he awoke who knows how many hours later, he was laying in his bed.. Confused, he started to look around.. Seeing that the house was actually cleaned up, the window was broken still, but the glass was swept up in a dustpan.. There was no blood, not a mess in the house, and when he looked out a window in the back of the house, he saw a woman sitting out on the ground, in front of two crosses that were made out of pieces of a broken door. He went outside to see who this woman was.. Though a surprise awaited when he got close.. There were two patches of dirt that were freshly dug up and then reburied, and the crosses had inscriptions etched into them. "--- and --- Atsushi.. Both kind hearted individuals that made living in district Zaraki a bit more bearable, they made it clear that even in such cruel places of the world, there would always be someone ready to welcome you with open arms.. They had a single child, Tomoya Atsushi, who they raised and protected in even their final moments. Their memory will live on in their child. Rest in Peace, --- and ---." Reading the inscription, the boy grew teary eyed once again before he asked who the woman was, she only smiled softly and said. "Think about it.. You already know who I am, Tomoya-san." It took him a moment.. Wiping the tears away from his eyes, before they lit up for a moment, before quietly whispering her name. "Kūhaku Dangan" She only smiled and nodded, before standing up, telling him to hold out his hands.. Doing so, she started to glow, before turning into energy as a gun suddenly formed in his hand.. He.. Now had a Zanpakuto. Such information.. It made his mind wander, though before he could move from there, the woman's voice echoed in his head. '.. Before you do anything.. Get something to eat, then we can go.'
Of course.. He had something on my mind.. Now that he had something he could finally use.. Something that allowed him to finally fight.. He figured out how his Zanpakuto worked in it's sealed state.. By focusing and pulling the trigger, he could release bursts of reishi, of course he couldn't do it a lot since he was just starting out.. It was enough to do what he wanted.. He wanted to kill those who killed his parents.. He wanted to make them pay.. He recognized their faces, they were people that he and his parents had encountered before on the streets.. He knew a place that they went to, of course, it was a sort of bar.. It was a start.. He took some time to find that bar, and it was actually, at this point, in the middle of the night.. And just his luck? They were leaving the bar when he found it, so he would try to sneak around and follow them.. He was small and quick, that'd work in his favor.. At least.. So he thought.. After he followed them a few blocks, he stopped playing follow the leader, he stepped out and pulled the trigger, he was aiming to shoot for the heart from behind, but his aim was really bad, he ended up shooting the back of the persons knee, causing him to fall to the ground, but alert the partner that he was there.. Now things were picking up. He tried to run around and shoot again, this time the bullet missed, and he was so small, the other one got to him in no time and threw him against the wall, then started to ask why some punk kid had a gun and was trying to shoot them. "You killed my mom and dad! You deserve to die too! They were good people!" One thing that the one that wasn't shot actually said something in return, while Tomoya managed to shoot the one on the ground again. "How can you be so sure about that kid? Everyone here is a criminal one way or another, even you. Look at ya, you're here trying to kill us. Little punk a**." He said before moving over towards Tomoya, while Tomoya moved towards the one on the ground finally pointing the gun down at his head as he shouted. "Stop or I'll shoot!" Before suddenly, the gun was knocked out of his hand, his eyes widening as a figure blurred, knocking the guy on the ground away, knocking him unconscious and sliding him over to the wall, then quickly knocking out the other guy, placing him with his partner, suddenly the tall figure appeared right in front of Tomoya, while he simply yelled. "W-What are you doing?!" "What am I doing? I'm stopping you from killing each other.." "But they deserve to die for what they did!" With that last sentence, the mysterious man only frowned. ".. And what did they do to deserve to be killed?" "They killed my parents!" ".. You're taking a path of revenge.. You're wanting to kill people for killing people.. You know, that makes you no better than them.. Did you think that maybe your parents killed someone they cared about? Or, that if you killed them, someone that cared about them would come after you? .. The path of revenge is nothing but a path of self destruction.. No one.. Absolutely no one deserves to be killed.. If they have done crimes, they will get whats coming to them in time.. It is not up to US to decide when that is though! It's called Fate, and it'll get us all one day.." His words.. They just froze Tomoya.. He was utterly speechless.. ".. I heard you.. You said they were good people.. Do you really think they'd want their son going off killing people? Honestly.. What would they think if they knew you were trying to kill someone?" It was there.. Tomoya just looked down.. He was disappointed with himself. "You're right.." He said quietly, before just dropping to his knees.. He.. Just wasn't sure what to do now.. The man, looked down at Tomoya before walking over and picking up the Zanpakuto, then held his hand out to Tomoya. "Common.. They'll be moving again soon." There.. He and Tomoya just went away.
Over the next couple of years, Tomoya lived with the mysterious man that saved him from himself that day, he taught him a lot of things in that time.. Both combat related, ability related, and philosophy related.. This man was a teacher to Tomoya, and he had learned so much in such a short time.. He learned what he wanted to do with his life, and how to even use Shikai partly with his Zanpakuto.. Then he was sent on his way, the last words the man told him was. "Pay me a visit after you've found the path you'll walk." Tomoya has yet to see the man since that day.. It was at the age of eleven that his life, once again changed.. Only about a year later too, he was just exiting a shop that he had bought a gun holster for his Zanpakuto in, though he complained to his Zanpakuto that he had to spend his food budget for the next couple days to buy her her new home, she only said it was his fault. With a sigh, he started to walk off before he was pushed aside by two brutes, that made their way over to an innocent looking blue haired girl. Tomoya watched curiously, wondering why such a girl, even younger than himself was wandering the streets along.. Then suddenly the two grabbed her, Tomoya managed to over hear the name "Hirase", so it was clear why they were abducting her, he tried to spring into action, drawing his gun before the male thug blasted him away with Kido, then the two took off.. Tomoya, was quick to follow though. The thugs took Kanami to an abandoned building, hiding her in the basement while they tried to figure out a ransom that was suitable for the girl, she was tied up in a chair.. He snuck in, and tried to undo her ropes in secrecy, telling her that once he gave her the signal, to make a run for it.. Though they caught onto him, so he had to act. Trying to open fire on the thugs, though his shots mostly missed, only skimming the female thug, before he tried to get Kanami to run.. The male thug, who went by the name of Kugo went after Tomoya while his partner went after Kanami, though Tomoya was ready to fight, he was taken down quickly with a move that Kugo used known as Shotgun Sho, something he had never heard of before.. It very well cracked some of Tomoya's ribs and launched him into the back wall, Kanami tried to come to his aid before she moved in between him and Kugo.. Where Kugo tried to knock her out and move her, Tomoya quickly moved, suddenly activating his shikai and blasting off Kugo's arm. Then thug two arrived, and chained the two up together.. It seemed the fate of the two was sealed, Kanami would be sold back to her parents, and Tomoya was to be killed by Kugo for interfering and blowing off his arm.. Though his plans didn't go too well when another figure picked up Tomoya's gun, and suddenly the other thug fell to the ground, utterly paralyzed for some odd reason until the Zanpakuto of Tomoya was cutting the ropes that bound them, before they started to run while she returned to her gun state, though Kugo went after them.. He was pissed, chasing after them, he brought up his other arm before he approached the two. "I've had enough of you two little punks! Sho Cannon!!!" He said before throwing his arm forward, and suddenly releasing a massive burst, while Tomoya threw Kanami out of the way, and turned pointing the gun towards Kugo. "Kizetsu Gazō! (Stun Shot.)" The burst of energy from Tomoya flew and blasted Kugo, who already had his arm blown apart by the Sho Cannon, while the Sho Cannon slammed against Tomoya and blew him away, into a wall before knocking it to the ground entirely.. Kanami, finally seeing him after the attack ran to his side, seeing he was still alive.. Though strangely, though he was in so much pain, he asked. "You're.. Okay.. Right..?" Before falling unconscious, where Kanami and his Zanpakuto carried his body carefully back to the manor..
He awoke again after various hours, he was inpain, but he was wrapped up and healed.. Mostly just sore from all that happened, and he saw Kanami walking in.. She was okay.. That was good, that's all he needed to know.. They talked for a bit, then she went out and got him food, then came back with the Zanpakuto Spirit joining them, who actually had a present for Tomoya, the bandage wrap that Kugo used for his Sho techniques, also known as 'Sho Tech'. Though the happy moment soon came to an end when Kanami said that they should tell his parents where he is, so they don't worry.. He tried lie and tell his Zanpakuto to pretend to call and talk to someone, though as she did.. The phone rang, their cover was blown.. There, he was forced to explain that his parents were gone, and his only family was his Zanpakuto, he had no place to live, because he roamed.. By surprise, she actually suggested he stayed here, sure that her parents would allow it.. He couldn't just accept without doing anything in return though.. It was said they would figure something out..
It was decided, that because of Tomoya's skill and willingness to put his life down for Kanami, who was the future heir to the Hirase Family, he would be her protector, and he would grow up with her and serve her.. He gladly accepted such terms, and moved into the Hirase Manor.. He finally found his path, and it was to serve and protect Kanami.. Over the years, he trained, and secretly gained the ability to use Bankai, and trained with the Sho tech, the friendship between Kanami and Tomoya grew.. It was in recent years, that he had part of him think of her in another way, though he usually tried to not let such thoughts control him, after all.. He was the help, and he was her servant.
─Zanpakuto Information {Sealed}─
Zanpakuto Name:
Kūhaku Dangan (空白弾丸; Blank Bullet)
Zanpakuto Appearance:
Kūhaku Dangan is a very unique Zanpakuto, why? Because it never even took the form of a sword! It actually takes the form of a silver handgun, a pistol, that rests in a holster that Tomoya buys for it. It seems to look like an ordinary handgun, nothing more nothing less, except it doesn't have a gun clip you put in the bottom of it, because the shots of this gun are made of compressed Reishi/Reiatsu, rather than actual bullets.
Zanpakuto Spirit:
Kūhaku Dangan is known to have long black hair and dim blue eyes, her skin is light color like most of those around the Hirase Manor. She is actually dressed in a maid outfit because of her work for the Hirase Family, she acts as a maid and a bodyguard for Kanami Hirase, like Tomoya acts as a Servant and Bodyguard
Kūhaku Dangan, unlike her master isn't quite as kind, she is very nice around Kanami and her master, as well as the Hirase Family.. But various times when they fight against someone, and she actually talks, she will make remarks to the fallen opponent. "You're lucky my master isn't a killer, or I'd splatter your brains all over the floor."
Inner World:
Abandoned City
The inner world of Tomoya's Zanpakuto is an entirely abandoned city, that seems to be in ruins, with various plants and vines growing from the ground and on structures, there are collapsed bridges, and ruined buildings.. As if a city went into utter chaos before it was utterly abandoned.. Here, the Zanpakuto Spirit is often found just hanging around on buildings, that is.. On the few occasions she'sactually in her Zanpakuto, because of her job though, she's usually out as a maid in the Hirase Manor.
Basic Zanpakuto Attacks/Powers:
Reishi Blasts and Bullets:
The power behind Kūhaku Dangan is it's ability to manipulate the reiatsu and reishi of both the Master and Zanpakuto, and compress it into the gun in an instant, before the pulling of the trigger would release the reishi/reiatsu in either a compressed bullet that could either act as a regular bullet, or explode upon contact with something. Another way of releasing the energy is in a beam of energy, much like a Cero (Think Coyote Starrk with this.) Of course, the beam is smaller than that of a Cero, it can still be fairly powerful, having the power of a medium level Kido Spell.
Shots can often be fired at rapid succession, though the beam at rapid fire is significantly slower than the bullets because it takes longer to charge. When bullets are charging, reishi will gather at the shaft, while the beam, small waves of reishi will form at the end of the gun then just fire as a beam.
Kizetsu Gazō (気絶画像; Stun Shot):
One of his ways to avoid killing an opponent is with this very technique, by arranging his reishi to compress in a specific way, he can fire a bullet that is capable of striking the very nervous system with reishi, rather than burning/blowing through the skin, it passes through living organisms, usually whatever point of the body that the shot hit's, it strikes the very nerves in that point and within a range of that point, given it creates a pulse of reiatsu with the same effect.. This strike and pulse effect the nervous system by literally paralyzing the nerves, rendering whatever is shot immobile because of paralysis, while hitting limbs only effect that limb, if it manages to hit a part of the spine, since it is sending that paralyzing pulse through the spine, it paralyzes anything below that point as well, much like if the spine was injured and it causes paralysis. So if one was to get hit in the upper spine, it would render almost the entire body except for the head paralyzed.

The pistol itself, strangely stays the same shape for the most part, except the pistol is almost now basically a handle as a very large blade sprouts out of the gun, turning the pistol into a gunblade, while along the blade there still is an opening for bullets to exit out of, when the firing process it's being used, it covers to form a tip for the blade.
Shikai Abilities:
Enhanced Sealed State Techniques:
The techniques that are usable in the sealed state are still used frequently in the Shikai state, here the abilities are actually furtherly enhanced. Such as the power of the bullets and beams, as well as the fire rate of such attacks. The Kizetsu Gazō is also enhanced to a point that it has a wider and quicker paralysis effect.
Shikai Techniques:
Sanpu Gazō (散布画像; Scatter Shot):
An ability gained in the shikai state, by compressing quite a bit more reishi than usual, which is visible by watching reishi swirl and channel through his arm into the pistol, it takes a few moments to charge, though once it's charged, he can call the technique name and pull the trigger, there a single bullet will fire out of the gunblade like it does usually, but the moment it leaves, it separates into at least ten different shots that rush towards the opponent.
He is also capable of doing pretty much the same thing with the beam form, charging it at the tip of the gunblade before calling the technique and releasing the energy, and as it fires, it separates into five reiatsu beams. All divided attacks are a bit weaker than the single shots, but their multiple shots greatly makes up for the lessened power.
Ken Gazō (剣画像; Sword Shot):
By collecting reiatsu/reishi around the sword itself, it can compress to match the exact shape of the blade, this technique is often known to be charging from the moment that the Shikai is released, meaning through the progress of battle the sword will start glowing to show the reishi charging around it. When it's finally released, he'll call the name and thrust his gunblade forward, pulling the trigger the energy will fly off, matching the same shape of the blade, it will travel at high speeds towards the target, and because of it's shape, it actually has sharpness to allow it to cut through things if the target manages to put something in the way to try and stop it.. Strangely, even when it is stopped, it will only be stabbed into something, it wont fade like most reishi constructed attacks, it will remain solid until Tomoya says the word. "Detonate", there, the reishi sword will explode in a large explosion, large enough to probably engulf a large portion of the Hirase Manor, at least at it's largest.. It takes ten posts in Shikai state to charge up one of that power.

Honestly, her appearance doesn't change all that much, her maid uniform remains the same, and her physical appearance stays the same, the only difference is she summons a incredibly massive gun that she can wield with a single hand, her personality does become more serious though, since she considers the large gun unable to 'spare a life', she thinks it can only blast to oblivion.
Bankai Appearance:
The same as the Spirit appearance, there aren't any physical changes in Tomoya's appearance, just the weapon itself becomes an incredibly massive gun.
Bankai Attacks/Abilities:
The Bankai itself only has one ability, and that is firing a single shot.. The Bankai is a one shot before returning to it's Sealed or Shikai state. The large scope lets Tomoya aim, it only taking seconds to completely lock on a target, whether moving or not, before charging up his reishi into the gun, which waves of reishi will flow into the end of the gun, while a gauge lights up along the shaft.. Once it's fully charged, and it's locked on a target, he'll pull the trigger, which will release a massive burst of energy that causes the gun to crack apart, completely breaking apart before reforming the smaller gun of one of the previous states, the force of the blast usually being enough to actually blast Tomoya back.. The blast of energy, very compressed is locked on the specific reiatsu signature of the target, though despite this it cannot be distracted by an attack that is created by the target, because the target has the strongest source of the reiatsu signature. This compressed attack, once it hits something with enough force to detonate it, it triggers a massive explosion, one that is capable engulfing the entire Hirase Manor in such an attack and leave nothing but a deep crater in it's place.. The explosion, not only is it large and powerful enough to completely destroy the manor, but it releases so much airpressure it can completely uproot trees and launch countless things away with just sear force of airpressure.

Almost ten years ago, when Tomoya met Kanami, he encountered a thug that had a strange ability, it was to utilize Sho to something far more than what it was actually capable of, turning the weakest hado spell into something that can be very deadly.. However, it wasn't a personal technique, it was actually due to a special device that now Tomoya has a hold of. They are like a thick bandage/cloth wrap that usually remains wrapped around his hands, it is washable, and he has been known to take them off and actually patch Kanami up with them temporarily. These wraps are capable of charging quite a bit of reiatsu up inside the strange fabric, only with the Hado Spell Sho can this energy be released. There are three stages to the "Sho Tech" known as Gunshot Sho, Shotgun Sho, and Sho Cannon.
Gunshot Sho:
The most basic Sho Tech technique, by charging up a Sho for a single post. (Meaning starts charging in one post, then can fire in the next.) He can release a force of energy that feels like a gunshot, which can cause quite a bit of pain in a body, possibly even capable of cracking or breaking bones. Though if he charges up a Gunshot Sho for multiple posts, he can release multiple Gunshot Sho's at rapid succession by swinging his fists like punches.
Shotgun Sho:
A far more dangerous version of Gunshot Sho, by charging up Sho energy for three posts, the energy that is in the hand will occasionally spark or static around the fist, showing the power dwelling within. When it's released, it's usually done at close distance for it's most powerful effect, it sends a pulse of energy through the body that can easily shatter bones and disrupt, if not do critical damage to organs before launching the victim back at high speeds, with usually enough force to send them crashing, and almost breaking through a wall. Shotgun Sho usually leaves the hand tingling, if used multiple times it can actually damage the users hand.
Sho Cannon:
The most deadly of the Sho Tech techniques, as well as something that makes the weakest Hado spell comparable to very high leveled spells. By charging up Sho energy for ten posts, energy will start to spark rapidly around the fist. When it's finally ready to be used, the user will wrap their free hand around the wrist of the other arm and thrust the Sho Cannon arm forward, calling the technique, there, a incredible amount of power will be released in a single, invisible burst, the only indication of the release of power is the air around the arm flaring up in a burst of flight for a moment, and the caster being put into pain. The force of this power rips apart the ground as it travels towards it's target, and even after it makes impact, severely damaging the area in front of the caster.. The power of this technique may be over looked because it involves the weakest of Kido spells, but it's power is capable of completely blowing apart a victims body, and it's even possible to blow apart the casters body. If it isn't enough to kill a victim, it will cause critical internal damage to the body, including the bones and organs.
While this technique can be considered a trump card in battle, it is more of a last resort, because this technique can kill the caster after multiple uses in a short amount of time.. The first Sho Cannon severely damages the arm, often breaking apart the bones inside the arm... The second Sho Cannon, is strangely more powerful than the first always, at least double the power of the first Sho Cannon.. This time when it's used, it is capable of severely damaging the users body, if not killing the user.. The Third, it's power is unknown, but it is capable of completely blowing apart the user.
