[PRP] Brother, Sister Bonding (Ahote, Anemy)

The small pup yawned as he opened his eyes, waking up from his sleep. When he had gone to sleep, he had been curled up with his mother but now she was no longer there. He peeked outside of the den and noticed that the stars were out now. His mother had probably wandered out to speak with them.

He let out another large yawn and looked around to see if anyone else was in the den with him. His dad was probably out trying to figure out where his mother had gone or busy with one of his many siblings.

He slowly walked over and sat at the edge of the den, his tail coming down to curl around his back legs, as he looked up at the stars.

In the back of the den the eyes of yet another small pup flicked opened. The little girl had been waiting all day for this moment. Finally it was night, the time of playing, the time were she could come into command of power. However, Anemy noticed she was pratically alone. Her siblings were all gone, even her mother and father had left. How dare they not wake her! She wanted to play too!

She pouted for a moment, and then relized that she wasn't alone. Another of her siblings happened to be nearby. Perfect! She approched slowly, taking a mintue to remember what her this brother's name was. "Ahote." She said. "Where did everyone go?" She decided to start off with a normal question.

When he heard someone call his name, he turned around to see who it was that was still in the den with him. When he recognized one of his sister's, he nodded his greeting to her before turning his attention back to the stars as he tried to remember what his parents had named this sister.

"Anemy," he replied when the name came to him, "I don't know. They all must have left while we were sleeping."

Appearently they didn't wake up poor Ahote either; but now Anemy was awake, he didn't have to be so bored anymore. "Say.." She spoke softly as she sat down next to her brother. "You want to go explore with me?" She suggested, and turned to see Ahote's face. "They all left without us anyways, I'm sure it'll be fine if we go off too!"

Ahote looked between his sister and the sky outside. He was wide awake now and he didn't feel like staying in the den all night look. If he went exploring with Anemy, he could get out and get a better look at the stars.

He swished his tail back and forth as he tried to make up his mind. Finally, he sighed and turned to her. "Alright, where do you want to go?"

Anemy grined happily. It was nice to be able to convince her siblings so easily. "The wateringhole." She said. She had only been to the wateringhole when she needed to drink, but the grassland that surrounded it... She wanted to explore! Bugs, snakes, endless possiblites of things to find and bring home! It sounded fun! She couldn't resist the perfect oppertunity of going out to explore it, and, she had a exploring compainon with her now too!

"The wateringhole?" he whined slightly. Why did she want to go there? Granted, it was much better to watch the sky over there; he was always fascinated when he went down there and saw everything reflecting on the water. Other than that what reason would she have for wanting to go there.

"Are you thirsty?" That was the only other reason he could think of for wanting to go to the wateringhole.

"No." She shook her head. Well, maybe she was a little thirsty, but that wasn't her reason in the slightest. She needed to come uo with a reason for exploring. Suddenly it came to her, the odd rock she saw the other day! She looked to her left and right to ensure no one was there. Then she scooched closer to her sibling. "It's a secret, but, the other day I saw something weird there. I want to go check it out, it looks so~ cool, you'll love it!" She half-whispered in her brother's ear.

When she got closer to him, he had to stop himself from backing away. Her story about something weird out by the watering hole, however, had him intrigued. Maybe it would be worth the trip out there. They could both get a drink, he could see the stars on the water again, and they could investigate whatever she had found.

He sighed again and nodded. "Alright, let's go."

Anemy's tail wagged as she stood and stretched. Now they just had to get there without getting caught. For whatever reason, Anemy felt that leaving the to go to the wateringhole was something punishable. "Alright, follow me!" She ran out of the den in a hurry...

Ahote shook his head at his sister. Why did they need to hurry? The watering hole wasn't going anywhere and he doubted they would get in trouble for going to get a drink of water.

Instead of commenting again, he followed the wagging tail of Anemy. Despite his near reluctance to go, he was slightly excited to see what Anemy had found, if it was still there. He could feel his own tail start to swish with excitement as they ran.

As they ran through the packs' lands to the near-border region, Anemy slowed down and stayed at the same pace as her brother. It didn't matter if she liked it or not, Anemy didn't like wandering around alone during the night. Maybe it had something to due with the fact that she couldn't see as well, or perhapes it was merely because she was a child. Whatever the reason, the little wild dog pup was glad to have Ahote as company.

"We're almost there!" Her tail wagged more, and she spead up her pace. Oh, she had been waiting all day to explore this place, now she could! She'd have to find the odd rock she'd found to show Ahote, but she still could explore other things too! This was going to be a fun night!

As they ran towards the watering hole near the border, Ahote stayed slightly back behind his sister, expecting her to know exactly where they were going. When she slowed her pace down to match his, he gave her a playful nudge.

He smiled slightly when she exclaimed that they were almost to where she was leading him. He looked around, keeping her in the corner of his eye, and took in the surroundings. He could vaguely see the moon shining off of the water now! At the sight, his little tail wagged more in excitement.

Anemy raced over towards the water. The moon and all its glory was reflected in the water. She smiled, and took a short drink. Now all she needed to do was remember where she found the odd rock. She ran around the watering hole for a few mintues in order to remember. She also had a suspision that it was near the water. "Where is it... Where is it..." She looked this way and that.

When they reached the watering hole, Ahote leaned down and took a long drinking. The running had made his thirst worse than it was when they had left their den. Once he was done, he looked over at his sister.

"So where is it?" he asked as he noticed her looking around. "It is near here, right?"
