Mbaya wondered into the den, paws hitting the ground gingerly. Her tail bore many cuts and was bleeding rather spectacularly. Taking it into her mouth she attempted to clean it, though released it after it began to sting painfully. Though she was smug, and satisfied. She had one, and sucessfully torn at a young cubs face. Ha, this proved she could do damage. She couldn't wait to find Mbali and show off. Her side still hurt from the cubs stray blow during the fight. Heaving a sigh, she sat down, a smile still upon her maw.

The white cub was happily sleeping in the back of the cave in the dark shadows. This was most definatly his favourite part of the den, he couldn't be seen by anyone and he was content knowing he could keep hidden from his family.
His ears had pricked up when his sister had entered the den, the only person who knew exactly where it was he slept, that meant he was going to be awoken. He sat up and stretched yawning silently, his blue eyes watching his sister's form. She looked rather beaten up which was rather worrying, but she also looked proud which was even more worrying.

She giggled to herself slightly as she reviewed her personal film of the fight, recalling each blow with a wicked smile. "Hello Mbali." She said, reclining near him and taking a bloody paw to her mouth, licking the blood from her ivory toes. Hakans blood, as it were. Licking her lips gentle, she whipped her scarred and bleeding tail about her, hoping her would ask. Her eyes glimmered, you cuold tell she was just dying to gloat.

Mbali looked at her and knew exactly what was coming, "Go on then, what happened?" He started to lick his paw while he watched her, after all he would be here for a while now, oh the boredom of it all, really horrid!

"Thought you'd never ask." He voice slipped out silkily, reaching her own ears in a painfull slow drawl. "Got into a little fight, with a cub from the border." Shrugging, the malicious look appeared in her hazel eyes once more. "Naturally the little runt lost, collapsed before I could kill him." She licked her paw in thought. "I wanted him to be alive and kicking for his death, whats the fun in dying whilst hanging in the very balance?"
Flicking her scarred tail, she glanced sidewards at it. "The only thing the cub managed to do effectively was, shall we say, merely graze me with those filthy paws of his." She spat the words out, anger flickering back into her wide orbs momentarily, before they settled, maintaining the malicious cool look emotionless look Mbaya would soon be known for.
"So yeah." She gained a more informal tone, seeming to shrug, a grin forming on her maw, showing several pointed teeth. "An easy victory."

Mbali shook his head and chuckled, "Right.. the queen wins again then." He licked at his paw happily and turned to look around. "We have to get out of here at some point sis. Mother wouldn't like it, but hey, we might come back!" He chuckled before turning to look out at the sky, it was pretty as it seemed to be getting dark. "We will leave soon sis, then we will be killing machines." He licked at his paw and curled up, one eye watching his sister, he really wasn't all that impressed with what she had managed to do.

Her eyes glimmered as his words, satisfaction displaying itself in the form of a smug smile. She thought rationally. Mbaya expected that the pair could survive on their own, especially with the fighting techniques she had recently aquired. She also had no doubt her brother would do well, too.
Finally they were working together, and she dismissed any shock at his words with an even bigger grin. "Leave the Pridelands." She spat out the name of her "home", giving a filthy look before looking back to Mbali. "How interesting that would be..." Nodding lightly, she began to contemplate her mothers reaction if they just suddenly dissapeared. She doubted her parents would really care, however she'd love to create some mystery.

Mbali chuckled, "Look for now I am hungry, lets find mother. We will talk about this later, after all, you would be far too irational about everything." He yawned a little and then turned to look for his parents. His stomach was complaining about the lack of food in there.

She raised a brown skeptically. "Irrational?" She asked. She shook her head, using white toed paws to pull herself up, flicking her injured tail lazily. Grinning, the cub reminded herself of the damage she did to Hakan. Though she never actually knew his name. How was she meant to gloat to others now? Mbaya rolled her eyes, padding away swfitly. She'd pass this once, perhaps she could find something by herself that she could devour, hopefully a smaller cub. Her twisted grin found its way to her maw again.
