Ami was unusual today. Beyond unusual.
Magical.
She had on a rather bold outfit, skipping down the hallways, taking an odd circle-pivot here and there. She was singing about true love rather loudly, and she actually had her hair down today- a rare occurrence undoubtedly.
"I'm very nervous today," she said to her broken hair clip- the closest thing she had to an animal companion. "What if she ..." The hunter leaned very close to the clip, "Says no."
A dramatic gasp and a song later, she ended up in front of Kat's door, knocking three times in a singsong pattern. "Oh Katherine, Katherine! Please open the door!" Ami said, spinning in a circle a few times. Disney Princess Ami had arrived.

Kat was not in her dorm room when Ami arrived, but was on her way back. Having just spent the whole morning on clean up duty, she figured she had earned herself a small break before her real duties had kicked in. After all, working in Deus kitchens was like working for a slave driver! She had to wash dishes, clean floors, tables, the works before, but for Deus.. it was like cleaning up after an army! Well.. Deus was an army, sort of.. in a way. In any case, the whole ordeal resulted in Kat taking a small trip to the cafeteria for a good solid hour to drink up at least 5 cups of coffee, followed by breakfast. She didn't care if she was a little wired after all that! She needed it! Gulping down the fith mug, she moved to refill once again, to take with her back to her dorm, and sit back and relax a bit. If she had known what was awaiting her at her dorm, she might have considered turning right back around.
Making her way through the dormitory, she rounded the corner, passing a few hunters chatting it up in the hall. Hanging back a little, she decided to eavesdrop on the conversation a bit, to see if she could pick up any interesting gossip. Not that she was really into eavesdropping on others, but hey.. she was a bit bored.
As the conversation carried out, it was obvious that it wasn't going to get any further than the guy talking about his dirty laundry issues. Socks.. how was that an interesting topic? Groaning inwardly, she cursed herself for wasting ten minutes of her time. That would teach her for snooping about. Oh well, what's done was done. There was no use in her sticking around here any longer.
With a slight yawn, and bleary eyes, Kat neared her dorm, oblivious to the girl practically dancing outside her room. Though, as she drew near, she finally took notice of her. Though, who it was, would take a few more minutes to register.
Arriving at her destination, and behind the suspicious, cheery girl, she watched her just in time to see the female hunter at her door requesting for her to open. Ami..!? At least, she thought it was Ami? What was she wearing? Almost losing the grip on her coffee, she shook the shock from her face and walked up to greet her.
Hopefully there was some reason behind the outfit, and her overwhelmingly cheery mood. She had never seen Ami like this before. Ever! In fact, if she didn't know better, she would think this was a different person.
"Uhh, hi Ami? Whats up?" She paused a moment, managing a small grin. "New look?"

Ami spun in a circle, landing in Kat's arms. "Oh Katherine!" she said, blinking far too many times, lips wide with a smile. "I need help! I need to find ..."
Pause for dramatic effect.
"True love's kiss."
And cue a musical number."

When Ami spun into her arms, her grip on her coffee finally loosened enough for her to drop the cup, its contents spilling all over the floor. That was enough for Kat to die on the inside, the other, was when Ami spoke of her quest.
Ami..? Find true love? Ami? AMI? THIS AMI?
Surely, this was all a dream--a nightmare maybe? OH! Maybe she was stuck in another trance? Like the one with the alternate universe? Surely there had to be some explanation behind Ami's strangely bizarre behavior.
"T-true loves k-k-kiss..?"
That's it. Kat's brain broke.

The spilled coffee didn't even phase Ami. She simply gasped and said, "Oh no!! KATHERINE! We must must must clean this up!"
She whistled and began a working song, and then looked expectantly into the air. Where were all the animals that were supposed to come to her beck and call? This exact same thing had happened earlier with Otto!
Still looking expectant, she whispered, "This is kind of an off day for me! Not a single animal helper in sight ..."

What...? She was trying to summon animal..helpers..? Oh dear God. Maybe it was the horsemen that was the cause of this? What had they done to Ami to make her like THIS!? A Disney princess! Slowly getting over her shock, Kat loosed a small cough, and kicked the paper cup aside. "Uh.. just leave that. Yeah..I'm sure the..animal helpers are just..just.." What the hell was she even talking about!? THERE WAS NO SUCH THING AS ANIMAL HELPERS!
"Okay---Whats with the outfit?" And new attitude change?

Ami blinked bashfully at Kat, batting her eyelashes with her cheeks rosy red. "Oh this? This is just some dress I found in the back of my closet- it's no big deal!" In truth, it wasn't hard to find at all. Princesses hardly ever had more than one costume change per movie, and hers hadn't come quite yet. It wouldn't matter to Kat, but Ami had spent almost an hour picking this outfit out today.
"Oh but I had a request!" Ami said, "I mean ... if you don't mind, of course!" She pulled out her set of runic guns, holding them up for Kat to see. "'I was wondering ... if maybe ... I mean if you're not too busy of course- We could go to the shooting range together?" Her cheeks were bright red with her embarrassment. You couldn't just ask a prince to the ball! The prince was supposed to ask you! This was all wrong!!

She had that dress..in her closet..? Was she really talking to the same Ami? Oh! Wait! Maybe, maybe someone fed her those odd cookies from that odd lunch lady that went missing? But could it be possible that someone still had a batch of those things? Or maybe they just copied down the recipe?
Staring dumbfoundedly at the girl, Kat could only blink more. "A..request..?" Normally, she wouldn't mind being asked favors, or requests by Ami, but today.. she had to admit, she was a little wary of what she was going to ask her.
With a large sigh of relief, the sun hunter half grinned at the girl, patting her on the shoulder. "Oh, yeah, heh heh. If you really want to, then sure." With the look on Ami's face, she thought it was going to be something horridly embarrassing! But shooting things--yeah, she could handle that! No problem!
